I would, if I could. But I don't, so I won't.

Sounds fun!
I can imagine that my type of party with members of spam would be very very awkward.
Well if you can't converse with others, or make the effort to, don't bother going to parties and you won't have to complain about being bored.
Clearly you just weren't drunk enough.
Well, to be fair, it's hard for an introvert to change because the extroverts are less accepting of them during the transition. However if the introvert in question could find an accepting extrovert to help them come out of their shell then they too could be an extrovert as well. Introverts more often than not are made into introverts because they failed at being an extrovert in the first place so they shy away from the whole extrovert scene altogether and become less trusting of everyone. It's a defense mechanism. So once they lower their guard they feel as if they're in trouble of being, "attacked," by people who hurt them before, or afraid that someone might hurt them for the first time, thus making them even more defensive. It's a downward spiral of loneliness that could be broken easily with a little courage, and a little help from someone on the other side of the situation.
