Anyway. Last night I went reading up on the wiki about everything Sasuke has been up to as far as dealing with all the damn fighting....sheesh he's busy.
And relentless.
I can say this at least, poor Sasuke, his life is filled with bitter irony. At the same time, I'm kind of over it, and his "friendship" with Naruto which I never bought into. Hopefully the manga will soon, like other long spanning action series I know of.
Ah well. I should have my post finished soon.
Sasuke has his motivation, but I am hoping for him to get his demons resolved without needing to die to do it. Ah, well.
Yeah I was surprised to find you didn't much favor him but still liked HinataxSasuke. You paired Kakashi up with like all of the Konoha girls didn't you?
I wouldn't say all. KakaSaku has been my OTP forever. Lately I've favored ShikaSaku for something less "age-gap-y" for anyone who doesn't like KakaSaku...I'll put Kakashi with a few others, but not everyone.
SasuHina well...it's purely a crack pair that I got into because of cute fanart of them as kids. Before Sasuke was filled with so much rage and hate. I think Hinata can give him redemption, I think he can give her courage. It works out in my mind. Or he could turn her into an evil badass bitch...that's could always be fun hah.

From like the first six episodes, I already knew KakaSaku had to be a thing. It just clicked for me. Teacher/Student pairs are fun enough but I feel Sakura has been pushed aside too much and while she has gotten stronger, it was always thanks to someone else aside from her original teacher. I think Sakura's more mature than shown in the original series. I see a girl almost as a middle child, Sasuke's the older and Naruto the youngest, she gets outshined by both so often that she has to need attention at some point. I never saw a valid reason for her crush on Sasuke, nor did I think she'd get with Naruto. (though I do support NaruSaku should it happen, though no one in Team Seven should end up together IMO but I don't support NaruHina or KibaHina...) It's just a lot to try and explain but yeah, my OTP since day one pretty much. XD
They would be good for one another, I don't want Hinata to just eclipse Sasuke's flaws, nor do I want Sasuke just to help Hinata, I think there's a balance they can have if given the right amount of attention. This was the first thing I saw which made me ship SasuHina as crack, because yes it's super unlikely but I think if Sasuke had stayed in Konoha (like in that weird AU movie thing I read about) he might have had a chance with Hinata since their families are pretty prominent in Konoha history but he also has a good side to him, I just don't think he's used it in a long time.
I can kind of see it. I wonder how the obstacles will be overcome, being age, original relationship, and so on. Sakura gets him all to herself now since the other two need him less and less, and that kinda sucks for dear old teacher =/ ...or maybe not with Sakura around~. And you know young girls, always going after the cool hot ones. Her reasoning for liking Sasuke has always been flimsy, so I don't blame you for disliking it.
A classic yin and yang pairing. I do enjoy the picture, and I think if he wasn't so traumatized Sasuke could've been a good friend to her. As thing's stand, what with Sasuke causing minor trouble fighting Naruto, I'm not certain her father would approve of such a union though. Sasuke could be seen as unstable, and problematic, so this may start a secret 'dating' bit for them. Did you plan to have Hinata make her own tea for him, or have them go somewhere in public? If the former, ooooh man I can't wait for TenTen to see this. If the latter, ooooh man I can't wait for TenTen to see this ^^.
I think if Sasuke and Sakura's (possible) relationship (or even Mako and Korra's, not that I'm comparing them) had been handled better, I probably would have enjoyed it more. But since I saw little reason to buy into it, I kind of shoved them away.
I was thinking I'd have Hinata take Sasuke out to lunch but I could also see her taking him back to her compound. Either way, they will be seen. The question is, is it worse to be seen by your family or fellow villagers. Both have a lot of cons, considering her company.
It might be too forward to suggest her estate so I was considering more so taking him to some cafe or tea shop.
Don't get me started on how bland and empty Makorra is, please xD.
This is purely an OOC matter then, since I doubt Sasuke cares about the opinions of others, and I don't know if Hinata would be mean enough to consider anyone's feelings but her own on the matter. She did like Naruto when no one else did, so it goes to show you that her feelings prevail above even her families.
When you think about it, word is going to get around about them, especially if its at a shop. TenTen WILL tell Neji with excitement, given that Neji is not present with her. Should he try to approach, well ..I think I'd have her stop him >.> since the relationship isn't deep enough for Sasuke to take any trash from Neji should he spew it. So, I'm fine with shop as the decision, shop just has word get around with the gossipy villagers.
I don't think Hinata would be comfortable in either place but considering she didn't want her family to worry about nothing, she would probably risk the public eye and just go to a tea shop. And with the off chance Sasuke does lose his temper, well they're in public so...
Word getting out is fine, though Tenten running to Neji so soon might be a bit much considering nothing has really happened. Of course Neji could be dubious to Tenten's gossip and perhaps if Tenten keeps an eye on SasuHina, she would likely continue to poke Neji until he saw it wasn't a good situation for Hinata to be in.
I mean Neji isn't short tempered...ish, he could have the foresight to see it something either stop NOW or to know that it won't become much at all anyway so not to worry...
She can take him at a later date if she really isn't 100% on being out with him in public for extended periods. Sasuke seems like the type of guy who likes seclusion over a public gathering anyway. If we go with this option, it seems more sensible that they just spend time together in secret. That way no one thinks Sasuke actually has feelings (lol) and Hinata's status with her clan isn't in any kind of jeopardy. But if we stick with shop, well, the budding of the relationship will be tested immediately. Then again, this relationship is struggle anyway. Compared to these two, Sakura has it easy later.
TenTen telling wouldn't be an act of snitching, it'd moreso just be someone to tell about it since not only is he family, but he might be interested to know Hinata's spending time with a boy outside of Kiba and Shino for once. I don't think TenTen is much of an 'oooh, I'm telling on you!' kind of girl. Maybe she'd keep it to herself, maybe even approach and say hello.
