It's the year 2013 and things are going great around the U.S. Prices have gone down, economy is great and crime ratings are going down as well. The US never looked better. Things were great until March, 22 when a scientist named Henry Whitlock accidentally let an infection that was still under testing free. It was supposed to be used to make even stronger soldiers as the other countries were getting jealous of the US. It kind of worked, made them stronger and faster but, there were side effects.
For instance, your emotions would be dulled to something barely noticeable and one emotion; hunger, would be increased by 55%. Also, your skin would turn a pale green and cracks all over your body would appear. Finally, the worst; The Cravings. You'll crave human flesh and blood. Those were risks the US were not willing to take. It was also dangerous as the beasts could not die. You can shoot them in the heart, brain, won't work. Chop their head off, they would just pick it up and place it back on their head and it would mold itself back on. Chop them up into little pieces, turn into liquid blood and form itself back together. The only thing you can do is burn them to death. Weapons and stuff like that only slow them down.
It was also dangerous because the person infected knew what they were doing. They were seeing what they doing and feeling, tasting and hearing everything. They just no control over their body. They can't speak or anything. Henry believed that perhaps if the infected cared and loved the person enough, they could fight the urge to kill them. Though, it's rare but, possible.
The infection spread to all those outside at the time. Those inside weren't. This takes place in California. 8:45 AM. To become infected, all it takes is a scratch or bite. Time for change is 30-1 hour tops.
Now, you can be a human or a zombie. Though, first you start out human and yes you can be turned. Also, you are not a god, don't say something like:
'Josh ran through the halls bashing zombies heads, not breaking a sweat'.
All I ask.
Now, language is fine, in a zombie apocalypse, I'd be cussing my head off. It's fine. Violence.....do I even need to say it? Adult content......fine but, if it goes to far, fade to black or something.
This happened in another rp I had on another site with this same plot line: Say if your a guy who's human and while your human you fall for a girl or something and you get turned. Yes you can possibly fight the urge to kill her. Depends on how much you love her. It has to be love, not you liking someone or something.
