As so, most caravans are lead by military escorts out of Карамель (Caramel), a small military outpost just south of Heart.

Land Base: 200x120km
Description: The main ship-port in the empire, it has low exports and high imports. A large military garrison guards the northern towns, and it was the first town to start the 'fort' movement, a movement of building forts and train tracks between the major cities.
Major City: пожарогонь (Firelight)
Land base: 200x160km
Description: Firelight is a major city in the southern part of the empire. Its the second main area of commerce, and imports goods from across the empire and trades them to other major cities. Major Town: Масако (Masako)
Location 1 1/2 weeks west of Pocket
Export: Iron, Coal, Copper, Furs, Gems
Import: Machinery, Food
