Green Eyes, Purple Roses, and Black Intents~ Raddum and Julia

"Ben! Benjamin!" Carmen called, laughing a bit then turning back to her plots on the wood table that sat in front of her. She tapped her fingers on the wood rhythmically while she waited for her henchman, Ben, to come and assist her in any way that she wanted. Carmen gently brushed a lock of brown hair out of her face and looked up, searching for her henchman.

Carmen, or Miss Mistroz to Ben, was a beautiful young woman with bright green eyes, medium brown hair that was softly wavy, an olive complexion, and one of the most perfect smiles. She had a rather voluptuous figure, although she had quite a few scars and scratches from her professions of the past and present.

"Ben! Get your lazy ass in here!" she screamed, standing up and pacing.

Ben was fiddling around with his vest, one of the buttons was loose and he was obsessed with fixing it, fiddling around with the button with his tongue sticking out of the side of his mouth. Until he heard... Her.

"Ben! Get your lazy ass in here!"

"Christ." He muttered, deciding to leave the button alone. It would annoy him greatly, but he wasn't left with much choice unless he wanted to get screamed at more. He walked at a decent pace, thinking to himself as he did. According to current events, i have attained twenty-five point seven percent more injuries in the last month than i have from the rest of the year... He rolled his eyes, he had bandages around a few of his fingers from burning himself while fiddling with wires. Although he knew a bandage only hides his wounds, they made him feel more comfortable, and he didn't like to think about looking injured in public.

He entered, looking at his boss. He wondered why he ever got into this, but he couldn't explain it if his life depended on it. He was a smart enough man, he could've had a decent, normal job. But instead he was a henchman... Life is strange. "Y-Yes, ma'am?" He asked nervously, already knowing she was angry. He caught his glasses as they nearly fell off his nose, adjusting them to fit correctly. He stood strait, watching her pace around. What could she be thinking...? Ben never truly knew what the woman had planned, well, until she told him to do it.

Carmen saw Ben and clapped her hands excitedly. "Ah!" she giggled happily and strode over to him, placing both hands on his face and smiling evilly. "Ben, my handsome henchman! I have got the perfect plan and you play a very big part of it!" she explained, her eyes wide. She then released his face and walked back to her desk and slammed her palms down on the table on both sides of her plan.

"You see this masterpiece, Ben? Do ya see it?!" she yelled then pointed excitedly. She then looked closer at it and sneered, quickly crumpling the paper up and tossing it at Ben. "Nevermind! It's a dud. Complete shit!"

Ben simply glanced at her as she came up and placed her hands on his face, calling him handsome. As usual, batshit crazy. He thought, as she went on about her plan. Watching her walk back to her table and made note of the plan, before crumpling up the paper and throwing it at him, it bounced off his nose, and he glanced down at it. "Well, i guess this just says there's room for improvement." He said, picking up the paper and shoving it in his pocket. He might want to look it over later for kicks, maybe it was complete shit and he could laugh at it. Lord knows he should laugh every once and awhile.

"Well, i guess this only means i can have a bigger role in the next plan, mistress." He said sarcastically, rolling his eyes. If he could help it, he would hope his part would be small. Like a henchman's job should be. Pull a lever or something. She always seemed to like to throw him into these situations, like a seductive scientist with, from her words, a 'handsome' test subject. He enjoyed it for some reason, even if he did get hurt. He couldn't explain why he'd do whatever she asked, he wasn't given any sort of potion, he just... Obeyed.

"I've got an idea!" Carmen exclaimed then turned to Ben and calmed herself. She took a slow, deep breath, then smiled and handed a notepad and a pen to him. "You start thinking of a plan! You're smart and a good actor, plus you've got no choice! So hop to it!" she teased, then tapped his face with her hand. She then sat on the desk and crossed her legs, looking out the window, tapping her fingers on the table. She then pulled her hair into a bun,

"If you need ideas, tell me!" she told him, then laid back on the table, keeping her legs crossed. She smoothed out her skirt and stared at the ceiling. "You should start after we go out to lunch... I'm starved," she told Ben.

Should've figured the ol' sarcasm would bite me in the ass. Ben thought, looking at the notepad and twirling around the pen. He wasn't the brightest when it came to planning, but it seemed he'd have to brainstorm. He continued to sit there silently until she brought up lunch, which really sounded wonderful, but if he didn't start thinking at this very moment he'd probably have nothing for her later. And that wouldn't be good for him at all. He curiously asked himself a question in his mind. How many other henchmen get taken out to lunch? He coughed to conceal his laughter. How many others are there in the first place, now that i think about it... Waaait a second. He narrowed his eyes, writing down a quick note.

Note to self: Think of a plan before the mistress dies of boredom, or comes up with something that will end up lighting you on fire.

"Mhm.." He mumbled to himself, shoving the notepad and pen into his pocket. Moments later the lights went off suddenly and then flashed back on. He sighed. "Damn lights. I fix you every week." He grumbled, wondering what was the cause of it. He figured it might've been rats, since some of the wires always seemed chewed. Although he never once found a dead animal. Maybe it was a sick joke of some kind, and somebody, somewhere, was laughing their ass off. He pulled the notepad and pen back out and began writing once more.

Note to self: Find source of electricity issues and surround it with explosive lightbulbs, and gasoline. Then laugh like a madman as they burn and have shards of the lightbulbs impale them.

He stared at the note he just wrote for several seconds, then put a hand up to his chin. "Right... I never did work on those explosive lightbulbs..." His head cocked to the left. "A grenade would be more effective... But what would i even use them for..." He sighed, finally deciding to speak in a louder tone so he could be heard clearly. "Well, Miss Mistroz, one thing is kind of important to know before i started forming a plan. What exactly are we planning for?" It was probably a stupid question, but Ben honestly had to ask it. He wasn't one to want to screw something up if he could avoid it, and normally these stupid questions helped avoid that. Like when he tried to make a plan on how to drain the entire city of it's water supply and all she wanted was for him to tie his shoe correctly. That was embarrassing.

Carmen looked at Ben, sighing at having to get up. She then grabbed his shirt and brought him in close proximity. "How can you be so smart and yet a complete dumb ass at the same time? You're some piece of work Benny. But you're just so damn cute... Alright! So anyway, I want a casino. I want card tables, roulette, and lots and lots of money flowing in to yours truly!" she clapped her hands together and started towards the door, swaying lightly with joy and excitement.

"Well, are you coming to lunch or not?" she asked. Her stomach growled lightly as she turned. "Ben! Now!" she snapped, then walked quickly out to her car, a nice luxury car, Bentley to be exact. Carmen was born into a wealthy family, and had more money than she knew what to do with. She didn't need money, and probably would never have to worry about it again. But, she wanted more so she could use more of her budget on her convoluted schemes and her crazy plans. And so she could pay Ben more.

She never understood why, but she was exceptionally generous to Ben. Maybe it was because he was her only lackey, or maybe it was because she had some strange feelings towards the man that she would never ever ever admit. Whatever it was, Ben got some good benefits.

Ben's eyes widened as she stood up and grabbed him by his shirt, both complimenting and insulting his intelligence. And... She did NOT just call him Benny. He always hated that, it got on his nerves back when he was in school, and when his grandmother would pinch his cheeks and say how lil' Benny was going to grow up to be great.

Granny, you always had a strange way of predicting what wasn't true.

Of course this job wasn't the worst, it paid well, he couldn't REALLY complain. Although it always confused him as to why she didn't have anyone else. Was it by choice? Or was he all she could get? Probably by choice, but whatever reason she made that choice was oblivious to him. She walked off, asking about lunch once while he was still thinking, and her next words broke him out of it.

"Ben! Now!"

"R-Right!" He said, following after her in a panic. Casino, huh? Well... Building one certainly wasn't an option. There was surely an alternate option... A buy out of some kind- He paused in his mind, resisting the urge to smack himself across the face. We're evil! Why am i thinking of such logical and peaceful methods? He questioned himself in his mind, looking forward. her car was a beauty, much like her. Although he'd never exactly say something like that out loud, it sounded corny and would probably embarrass him. He walked ahead and opened the passenger door for her, standing there and waiting. He began thinking about two things he was completely uncertain about. The less important one being the casino plot, the second and more important thing being where they were going. He wasn't that picky.

Hmm... Casino... A plan is brewing, but which one would we target... There's plenty around... The thoughts brewed in his mind, but only ended in more questions, which irritated him ever-so-slightly.

Carmen smiled and got into the passenger's side. "I suppose I trust you enough to drive. Thank you," she told him clicking her seat belt on and straightening her skirt. "You're a pretty good getaway driver, so you should be able to handle normal city streets at normal speed, right?" she teased, pulling a pack of cigarettes from her glove compartment and flicking one out of the pack. She then offered one to Ben.

"Would you like one?" she asked, rolling down her window so that her car wouldn't smell like cigarette smoke. She then looked at the pack and read the surgeon general's bogus warning as she pulled out a match from her purse and struck it on the side of her shoe. "You're not asthmatic, right?" she asked, trying to remember if that was somewhere on his application, or if he even had an application.

(( The thought of henchman applications amuses me. ))

Ben closed the door and walked around to get into the drivers' seat. "I'm telling you, that cement truck was NOT planned... Although it was a blessing." He said in response to her saying he was a good getaway driver, Ben didn't think he was a good anything, honestly. He always thought he was kind of... There. "And no thank you, i don't smoke. Running is hard enough as it is without breathing issues." That would answer both of her questions, or so he figured. He started up the car, not even sure where they were going as he pulled out onto the street. He was very paranoid when it came to driving, and he noticed every detail.

"So, where're we going?" he asked, unsure of where he was about to go. All he knew at the moment was he was driving down the street with the thought 'Food' in his head. And that didn't help him much at all. Why did there have to always be so many things to think about at once? Casinos, Food, Exploding Lightbulbs and Gasoline all over who THE HELL KEEPS MESSING WITH THE ELECTRICAL WIRES!

I've never had the urge to kill, but when i find that bastard... He thought to himself, waiting for an answer from his boss as he continued down the road, his eyes bouncing around at everything he considered that could make him crash. So mostly, he was glancing at his boss, and anything directly in front, or behind him.
