We're Coming. [IC]

For years, the government has been continuing on with a secret. The information has been kept confidential due to the mass hysteria that would certainly break out if the public were to be informed.

Almost ten years ago, Earth first received contact from a life source outside of our own galaxy. The message was in Shakespearean English and, although written in beautiful rhyme, it contained a simple idea: we're coming.

Now, the time has come. Something is entering the atmosphere... something huge.


So, basically, I was thinking that you can either play an alien or a human. A little bit of battle, a little bit of inter-stellar romance, and a little bit of learning from the different species?

We come from a planet that has a variety of different alien species. However, when on Earth, we have the option of appearing as a human.

Feress sat on the floor in one of the rooms of the vessel he was arriving in, speaking to a hologram that looked similar to him but extremely older. Both spoke in their own language as they conversed about the future events. "Are you confident of this decision, Feress? I do not believe you are safe without our full protection." The hologram said, crossing his arms and looking down at the young man.

"I have my faith in their people." Kiar replied with a quiet chuckle.

"Though they at times can be strange and hostile. Did you have to wear that?" The hologram pointed at the jacket and pants he wore, tilting his head sideways in a questioning look.

"Well... Since I am here I can dress like them I suppose."

"But they can dress so.. Uhm.. They do have a tendency of exposing a lot of their bodies with their apparel and dress like what they would call a 'Tart'" Feress chuckled, tugging on the collar of his jacket.

"No worries master I do not tend to dress like that."

"Good. Hey.. Perhaps you could get with one a-"

"Lets not bring that up again." Feress replied, shaking his head at a conversation discussed earlier on the trip. He stood up and they both gave a bow after a extra minute or two of side conversation.

"Try to get home safe and be weary. Some of these humans can be extremely ethnocentric. I don't think they'll take your presence kindly at times."

"I understand." Feress said in full fledged English. The hologram disappeared and he took up a little ring that was left behind, stuffing it away in his pockets.

Fenrir was sitting in a launch pod in his ship, the Dawn, he patiently waited to be launched down towards Earth at a very huge speed. Suddenly, Fenrir was shot down towards Earth. If Fenrir didn't have a seatbelt on in the launch pod, he'd be dead due to his neck breaking, but, thankfully, that didn't happen. Fenrir raised his arm towards him and started to press some things on his "Mini Arm Computer" which could allow him to do a multitude of things. Fenrir pressed a button on the miniature computer and suddenly, he changed from an Alien to a Human.
"I'm doing this for my race ..." Fenrir sighed. Fenrir wasn't afraid of being spotted in the launch pod, on the outside, it looked like a meteorite was entering Earth's Atmosphere, so, he wasn't really afraid of being discovered. After a few minutes of rocketing towards Earth, the launch pod hit and dug itself into the Forest Dirt. Fenrir opened the escape hatch on the top and climbed out. Fenrir then started to look around, finding himself in a forest, Fenrir simply started to walk around the forest, trying to find his way out.

Tech watched as what seemed like a meteorite fall near the forest "Damn," he thought; "must be an illusion." But it wasn't a mind trick. A meteorite had landed close to his area. Being at is house on the edge of the woods, he took a shotgun and a pair of katars he got during a excursion to India. He walked into the woods and began to follow the smoke pillar. Little did he know he would begin an adventure of a lifetime.----------------------------------------------------------- About a mile in, Tech found the meteorite. It looked untouched, silver-like, even. He touched it. It began to glow blue.

So. How am I going to get down to earth? Feress thought looking over some writing on a slip of purple paper material. His eyes skimmed through it then widened in shock. "Pod?! I haven't ever been in those before!" He thought aloud being in a slight panic. IT was going to take time before he steeled himself for the drop to earth.

After extensive research, I have learned that you did not join this RP
Let me give you a few tips on these forums about RPs
First, you have to join the RP by joining the OOC, an OOC is basically the "sign up" page for an RP. In the OOC, you have to post your CS, a character sheet, and wait to be accepted. Once you are accepted, you can go to the IC, basically, the RP, and then you can start posting :D
So if you are still interested in this RP, go post your CS in the OOC. The OOC is almost always the same title as the RP)

Fenrir walked around the forest with his two hands on the end of his two swords. "I don't trust this world ..." Fenrir mumbled. "... I don't think it'll help if I have these two swords around me ..." Fenrir then snapped his fingers and the two swords disappeared into thin air. Now, they would only come out when Fenrir turned into his alien form. Fenrir walked around the forest and eventually found himself at a road. Fenrir then started to walk alongside the road.

''No way.'' Jo said with wide eyes. She saw a type of meteor fall to earth. It can't be real. Just incase, she rubbed her eyes and it was still following and 'bam', landed on earth. She was debated, go check it out or stay put. The first option was the most tempting but, the second one was the smartest. She was about to say, forget it, and go check it out but, then she remembered what happened last time she did something.
Tears rolled down a 6 year old Jo's cheek. ''Dad.'' She whispered as she stood in a black dress at his funeral. Her mom stood beside her with her hand on Jo's shoulder though, from her mom's trembling hand, she was crying too. Her older brother Matt was on her other side with his hand grasping hers. His face was emotion-less except the trembling of his hand. Proving he was effected just as much as her mother and she. She kept her head down as a thought occurred to her. If only she hadn't have left the house, her dad wouldn't have come looking for her and he wouldn't have gotten shot. She froze, it was all her fault. His death. She.....she killed her father. Her heart twisted in pain causing her to sob and hug her mother's dress with her hand still holding Matt's.
Back to the present, Jo stood there recalling the memory. A tear fell from her eye and she wiped it away before deciding to stay put. She then went back to leaning against the large tree in the middle of the forest in a small clearing. She then opened up her book, Romeo and Juliet, and continued reading though it was a bit hard to focus.

Eventually one of the ship's crew members 'persuaded' him to get into one of the pods. It was obvious he wasn't experienced in this sort of thing and it took a few moments before he was sent off, dropping into the atmosphere of what is known as Earth.

When the pod reached the ground (not too far from the first one might I add) the ambassador was like a statue, every strain of fur and hair on his body stood on edge making him look like a puff ball in a sense. His breathing slowed to a regular pace after awhile and he climbed out of the pod still being slightly shaken. All of the fear had left him when he looked around the forest with amazement. "It looks more green then I heard.." He thought aloud not realizing that he was still in his alien form and needed to shift into his human identity before being spotted.

Fenrir, at this point, had laid down with his back to a tree, sleeping. His miniature computer on his wrist would have alerted him that another pod was coming towards Earth, transporting another one of his race, and it did! But ... Fenrir was such a heavy sleeper, he never even noticed it. Fenrir then fell over onto the grass, continuing to go to sleep. "Zzzz .... zzzzz ...." Fenrir was also a bit of a snorer, that probably contributed to the fact that he never did find a girl or a wife that could sleep next to him in bed.

Feress smiled to himself taking a few steps before using his ability to turn into his human identity. After the process was complete, he started to do his own wandering around the forest. "Now how am I suppose to get to the ones who found the message?" He thought as he ventured through the vast line of trees.
