Hello everyone. Ich bin Markis.
How is everyone? A friend of mine directed me here and I thought I'd have a look around. The place looks interesting enough and I must say I'm impressed by the number of active users in this community.
A bit about myself:
I enjoy writing, drawing, and roleplaying. My style is usually of a rather dark sort; sweet characters give in to corruption, all that is just falls to vice, the sins of the father carrying on to the son: that sort of deal. My drawings happen to be of a mixture of scifi and fantasy as well as a bit of surrealism. My roleplays match both of those styles equally and I feel that I create unique and interesting characters, rather than the same old copy/paste that you see quite a bit of these days.
I am a soldier, recently returning home from a deployment so I'm quite happy to be back. My creativity died a bit there, but now that I'm home I feel as though it can flare to life a bit now that it's not trapped in that dank, dark environment. I started off roleplaying in the Yahoo Chatrooms when I was around the age of ten and have been improving my skill and tempering my ability for the last 13 years or so. I consider myself decent.
I look forward to enjoying a few collaborative group roleplays with you guys.
