The Popular Life: Spring Break (IC)

((OOC is here.))
From outside, the muffled sound of house music and dubstep and its beats pulsated from a lit house in the distance. The Ricci household, or perhaps mansion, was rather secluded. It was one of those houses that had a very long driveway and the actual house was a good ways off from the main road of the neighborhood. A few cars had lined up along the long driveway, a few were out on the street, and other people still had walked to the house because they themselves didn’t live too far away.
In fact, that’s exactly what Jack Slater was doing. He had told his mom that he was going over to his friend Alan’s house for a sleepover that night. He was walking down the dimly lit street beside his friend with a grin plastered on his face, mainly for two reasons: it was spring break and also because it was the first real party in a long time. Jack was wearing his lucky shoes, some black midcalves, dark gold shorts, and a black Underarmour shirt. He hadn’t left his hoodie at home, although it was hot and humid out that particular night. He had a gym bag hanging from his back containing that hoodie, his cell phone, and a single can of Bud Light which had been sitting in his room, hidden, for a while and he thought he’d might as well bring it along so it didn't go to waste.
Jack had first heard of this party from his friend on the lacrosse team. He had said that nearly all of popular crowd at Knight, as well as some students from the local private schools, were invited and that everyone could bring friends, as long as they could be trusted. Jack decided it'd be cool to go with a friend to the party and asked his newest friend, Alan, if he wanted to come, not too sure if he himself had been invited or not. Thankfully, everything had worked out and they had made the plan to sneak away from their respective homes and head over to the Ricci house, the parents of which, apparently, had left on business and entrusted it to their son Wesley, who was one of the biggest partiers in school. He was so confident in the party that he said everyone could sleep there.
Jack came to the beginning of the long driveway, now thankful that he didn’t live too far away from Wesley. He turned to Alan as he walked. “The Ricci’s have an awesome house,” he told him. “They have a pool table and bar and an in-home movie theater in their basement… There’s a big kitchen on the middle floor and they have a living room with a huge plasma screen TV and an Xbox. Upstairs they got… well bedrooms. It’s pretty sick. I heard there's a lot of people coming.” He laughed lightheartedly. “Are you nervous or something?” he asked.
((I hope you all followed my advice and tried to find someone to start out with! I'll be doing an intro for Victoria a little later.))
