So, I was thinking, since TF2 is so funny, why not rp about it? I mean, I think it would be nice to see the 9 classes in a more story driven setting.
This would be an episodic rp. Episodes will involve us doing different things. For example, finding out who touched Heavy' s gun.
The story would be pretty much the same, and revolve around RED team. The big difference would be that Red is also a bit of a vigilante group. Fighting crime using incredibly impractical methods and excessive force.
Anyways, I'll be Engie. To join, just PM me an rp sample an your favoritest weapons from your class.
Also, here's some ideas I have for how the group might be organized:
Engineer: Leader, recourse management
Scout: security guard
Pyro: military police (punishing his team mates if they get out of line)
One question... how the hell does one play the Pyro?
And would (s)he have the same schizophrenia thing going on as in meet the Pyro?
Interesting...though I am wondering if they are just roles, or if they're the same actual people. Like, is your "Engie" the one from the game, or a different Engie? Like the one from Nerf Now or something?
Why would the engie be the leader? Shouldn't the soldier be the leader? Or at least the demoman?
I also doubt your decision of making the Engie the leader. His skills are in machinery and physics, not leadership.
Although granted, he probably is the most sane one of the bunch...
The spy is way more sane than Engi. Even the Sniper is more sane.
Well, no roles are set in stone yet by any means; (and the group doesn't by any means need a leader). The ones I wrote down are just ideas.
As for why I thought of them:
Engineer is smart, and already has a management role anyways (though, you're right, Soldier would also make sense)
Pyro does spy checking (thus, military policing)
Soldier could work like Jamjars in Banjo-Tooie, acting as a drill sergeant
And Sniper could be like a tracker type guy.
Again, these are just thoughts, I'm completely open to suggestion.
Ok i overlooked those in making that sanity statement. But those are the solitary characters. The Spy is constantly behind enemy lines and the Sniper probably doesn't have any leadership skills considering he, quote: "has spent the better part of his life alone in the bush"

Soldier probably suffers from delusions of grandeur
And spy might suffer from some kind of personality disorder.
Just some thoughts, though.
The Pyro will likely be a difficult one, as the Pyro can't talk. However, the Pyro does have a distinct personality that one can work with.

Yes, every character will be more or less the one from the game.
