"Grimm huh?" Crystal said. She had heard of the creatures in the legends passed down about her family and how they were a skilled group who could slay Grimms without even thinking about a attack plan and they had plagued the land many years ago. However this was to be her first time in a real encounter. She was both nervous and excited at the same time but yet remained calm.
"Frabjous..." So they were going to be thrown towards the proverbial meat grinder. Vert has yet to assemble his armor nor gained access his bike, and now all he is left with are his Aura Talismans. Hopefully the others are supportive, as Vert won't be heading into battle fully prepared. "Sounds simple enough. Any other details we should be aware of?"" Collapsing his cane, Vert adjusted his glasses and made a silent prayer.
Lucien LaChance walked briskly with the crowds, ignoring the antics of the other students. A few people who were next to him ducked out of the way. He had that kind of aura.
As the Headmaster welcomed them, he remained expressionless, almost radiating a cold air. He was here to fight, not to make freinds. He didnt need them. Backup, maybe, but not freinds.
Even when he was told they were going to clear out the Grimm, he didnt bat an eyelid. Of course, they had to test your capabilities. This was a do or die buisness, quite literally. You did well or you were Grimm food. Thats how it went.
Still, even he wondered how he'd get there. Would they walk? Fly? Or was that part of the test?
Lachance kept quiet, knowing he'd get an answer soon enough
Chisa listened to the headmaster's speech when he was finished he headed back into the academy's big doors, she turned her gaze over towards the professor who was telling them she'd like to see their skills against the Grimm that infested the forest below and smiled to herself. "That should be pretty easy to do with our numbers." Chisa said to herself.
Yoona saw the professor picking her. She smiled and cleared her throat. "Okay! So! Would we be working solo? Or on teams? Hm? Oh! It just I dont mind being working as a solo. I mean.. I like working as a team but then so- ANywaysssss!~ " she waited for her question to be responded. Yoona placed both of her hands on her hips and smiled. She was nervous but then she was excited! So excited and very hyper. Yoona wasn't going to let her day be ruined, so any Grimms?! Very watch out!
Gwenlyn glanced around, almost embarrassed to be standing beside this bundle of words, gestures, and general hyperness. This is going to be a long school year..."Ma'am?" Gwen stepped forward once Yoona stopped speaking "What she means to ask is: Are we to be evaluated based on our choice of working alone or not?
The Professor was taking in the incoming questions, raising her hands to quiet the crowd "Silence please!" She called out before saying "You are to make your own decisions on how to proceed. But as of right now until the end of the testing, you are forbidden to retrieve anything on the ship. It won't leave until then." She looked about for a few moments after she was done, raising her eyebrow once more...
Crystal sweatdropped at Yoona as she heard the questions. She wasnt picky about fighting alone or as a team. She wasnt worried about her luggage as she had taken it all off the ship when they landed. Her Slasher and some confidence was all she needed for this.
In all of his good five minutes being at Balefire, Patrick had yet to admire the beautiful scenery... Mostly in part of his high-speed entrance and rush to get out of the metaphorical 'crime scene'. He noticed that there was a lot of green forested area and hills and stuff... Okay, maybe the scenery was beautiful, but it didn't really interest him in the same way it'd interest an ecologist or something. Nevertheless, it seemed they were going to be thrust down there to fight Grimms as their form of initiation. Something like that should be simple enough. Plus they were able to have teams!
'Hmmm.... Maybe I should get a teammate!' the pink-haired roller skater thought as he held his hand to his chin and mouth in a thoughtful manner.
Lucien looked around, sizing up those nearby. For a job like this, he'd certainly need an ally, someone to back him up.
His eyes settled on the pink haired boy. He was fast, which was always helpful. Maybe he was nimble and agile, which suited Lucien's fighting style perfectly.
Come to think of it, he was the only one he really had an opinion of. Everyone else just looked normal.
"Hey, you there." Lachance hissed, gesturing to the pink boy. "D'you need a partner? If you do, i can back you up."
" They see you as small and helpless, they see you as just a child." Vert sang to himself quietly as he tucked his cane into his pocket. He loosened his neck and removed his glasses, putting them into a protective case. "Surprise when they find out that a warrior will soon run wild." Just as he said that, Vert drew two of his Talismans. He bent them slightly so that they would be stiff in his hands. "Prepare for your greatest moments, prepare for your finest hour." Closing his eyes, Vert began to prep his mind. Focus his thoughts. Prepare to use his aura. "The dream that you've always dreamed is suddenly about to flower!" Opening his eyes, a faint green light shined through the murky blackness. His Talismans glowed a similar color, hardening in his hands. He was ready.
