She stands at an average 5'6" and weighs in at 118 lbs, placing her in the Bantamweight category as far as professional boxing goes. She's lightweight and has a lean physique, but her muscles are toned -- though she doesn't look it, she is surprisingly strong, having learned to use leverage and her flexibility to her advantage. Her hair is a dark brown, cut close to her head in a short pixie cut, and her dark eyes are framed by thick lashes set under a pair of harshly arched brows that can make her look either menacing or seductive.
: American/New Jersey, a quarter Taiwanese
Rebecca was born and raised in the US, with the blood of a former world champion boxer flowing through her veins. As a preteen, her father began training her to become a professional boxer, and follow in his footsteps, setting the Olympic gold medal as her goal. While she was in middle school, her mother decided she had had enough of such a lifestyle, and filed for a divorce. When her father won custody of her, her mother left to live with her family in Taiwan. Not too long after, Rebecca began her amateur boxing career.
When she entered high school, however, she decided that she simply wasn't happy with her current path. She was regarded as a force to be reckoned with among her classmates, most cowering in fear while others attempted to use her, despite the fact that she had never once lifted a fist against a civilian. She liked to train, and she liked to fight -- making her father proud was her largest goal. As she continued to get matches and make a reputation for herself, though, she only grew less and less enthusiastic. It was in her senior year of high school, in the midst of her test for a Pro license, that she realized what was wrong: she had no resolve. She fought simply for the sake of fighting, and that was fine if it were just a hobby, but her father planned for this to be her entire life. Her physical abilities were all she had going for her at that point, but she just couldn't feel good about herself when she was beating others and being beaten for mere points.
She needed something to fight for
Purposefully failing her test, she wasted no time in dropping out of high school and moving out of the house, ignoring all of her father's enraged cries. For a year and a half, she barely managed to support herself, working two part time jobs to pay for her rent while she tried to sort out her life. It was during this time, towards the beginning of the Fight Club's life, that she found "The Family". She could see potential in the organization and the fighters...as well as something to fight for, something to strengthen her resolve and put meaning into her matches. So, she joined in a heartbeat.
Rebecca is the type of person to change to the setting, very flexible in the roles that she feels need to be filled. Most of the time, she is very playful and rather sassy. Her talent for snappy comebacks, witty one liners, and stinging insults have gained her a bit of a reputation -- she isn't called "The Bitch" for nothing. She is very strong minded and strong willed, rarely ever backing down and always ready for a fight, both in and out of the ring. She's not the type to back down, and she certainly doesn't take quips about her gender well. Any 'sandwich' or 'kitchen' jokes in her midst will earn you a one way ticket to hell.
As playful as she can be, though, it's not difficult for her to be serious. It's difficult to gain her respect, but once you've earned it, you've also earned her unswerving loyalty. Those that she considers friends, and especially family, are incredibly important to her, and she is perfectly willing to fight to the death if it means protecting them, or even simply defending their honor in their absence.
Though she may not grasp mathematical or scientific concepts, she still has a sharp mind. She is capable of analyzing situations quickly and finding an efficient solution -- once again, both in and out of the ring. As soon as something goes wrong, she will be right on top of it, doing everything she can to make sure the problem gets fixed.
