//Assault carrier Blade Of Faith, above Stigma Prime//
Fleet Master Nah'Meramee looked down at the human world beneath him. His fleet was making short work of what little space based defenses that the vermin had in orbit around the planet, but the ground war was going the way it always went when it came to fighting the humans, they were digging in and pockets of resistance still stuck at the invading forces like a thorn in the side of a great beast. With a wave of his hand he dismissed the feed of the world and turned his attention to the various commanders that were gathered in the command room. "As I am sure you are all aware, we have been given a monumental task. We are to take this world from the defilers that now plague it's surface and recover the holy reliquary, it is for this reason we cannot cleanse the surface and also why I have brought you all here." Bringing a Holo-panel with a few Forerunner glyphs on it around he showed it to the commanders "These are the symbols you are looking for, find the reliquary and secure it. Dismissed." With the final word the Sangheili filed out to take their troops and transports to the surface. Meramee allowed himself to relax a small bit, the invasion was going well and the Prophets would be pleased with their current progress. He remained somewhat relaxed until alarms began to blare across the ship and one of the command officers came over the internal comm "Shipmaster, three human ships are entering the system!" Snarling Meramee keyed his own comm "Charge weapons and bring a few ships around. We will end them the minute we are able."

The metallic hiss of released was the first thing Markus heard as his cryo pod heated him back from limbo. Sitting up he cleared his lungs and grimaced as he swallowed the nutrient paste that was left over from the cold sleep. Opening his eyes he took a moment to stretch before reaching up and disengaging the door locks, releasing the pod's hold on him as the lid opened into the dimly lit, grey room that was the Pilum's cryo bay. Taking a slightly shaky step out he looked around to insure that the other wake ups were going alright. As he did this the Cryo officer's voice came over the PA "Good to see your awake sir. The Captain wanted me to tell you that we are coming out of Slip in a few hours and he wanted you and your squad prepped for a drop." Giving a limp salute to the overlook to show that he had heard, Markus proceeded to his Squad's opening cryo pods. Knocking on each one in turn "Alright! Nap time is officially over, Cap wants us off his ship in a couple hours. So get yourselves a bite to eat and get set." After this was said he moved off to follow his own advice, first stopping by the showers and lockers he got dressed in his normal fatigues and then proceeding to the mess to grab some food. As soon as he was finished with that he walked into the armory to get suited up. As he secured his bracers he reviewed the mission map and waited for the rest of his squad.
