Cat's Eye (BuioXAlter)
Name: Murakami Massashi
Personality: Masashi when at school is a pretty popular and friendly guy. At home though he becomes very stoic and doesn't like to be bothered by unnecessary things. He usually spends as little time at home as he can since he finds the atmosphere there suffocating. He is ashamed of the leopard's tail he has had ever since birth and wears contacts to hide his feline eyes, as a result, despite having many friends, he does not get very 'close' to anyone. he is the one who persuaded his father to buy Milk when he heard about a girl with cat traits, thinking he may finally have found someone like him.
History: As a child Masashi lived a very sheltered life like his sister. He was home schooled by tutors and didn't have many friend outside of the house. He was shy and meek and embarrassed at his feline features, afraid that people ay discover what he was. The only person he was ever friends with was Aya, the daughter of the head steward and maid, a family that had been in the service of the Murakami family for generations. Aya was like an older sister to him and in her he confided all of his secrets and ambitions; she was someone who knew about his secret, of course, but she never judged him or treated him differently because of it, which made him trust her immensely. Sadly, a event woudl soon occur that would end their good friendship. When Aya turned 13, Masashi decided he wanted to bake a cake for his friend in celebration, but he had no idea how to cook and every time he tried to get the chefs at his mansion to teach him they just shooed him out of the kitchen, saying there was important work to be done and that they didn't have time to babysit the young master. Vowing not to be defeated he decided to pull up a recipe from the internet and sneaked out of his home and into Aya's in the early morning since she had once told him where they hid the spare key, planing on using the kitchen there before her parents woke up and then coming back home with the cake to surprise her in the morning. Sadly, however, his inexperience woudl prove his undoing. Due to inattention a small fire caught in the kitchen as he was baking. In his panic he grabbed what he thought was a container of water and emptied its contents into the fire, only to realize it was full of cooking oil, which only caused the blaze to suddenly grow out of proportion. He tried for a few more minutes to contain the inferno but was unable to stop it from spreading. Not knowing what to do he rushed out of the house and went to a neighbor's so that they could call the fire department, not thinking to wake up Aya's parents first. As a grave misfortune of these accidents, Aya's parents were trapped in the fire and ended up dying before the firemen could get to them. Thanks to his family's influence, what actually caused the fire was never revealed, instead it was blamed on faulty electrical wiring, but from that day forth Masashi could never bear to look at Aya again, the guilt of what he had done was too much to bear. He demanded that he be transferred out to a public school and spent as little time at home as he could to escape the guilt of what had happened. Even when his mother died a few years later, he only made a brief appearance at the funeral, not being able to withstand being around the people of his household for log, especially not at a funeral. so was his life for 6 years, until he heard through his network of 'friends' at school that a rather 'interesting' girl had fallen into the possession of one of the lesser rich families in the city. A girl who apparently had the ears and eyes of a cat. Masashi immediately thought that he ma have found someone like him, someone who might understand him and decided to resolve himself to convince his father into acquiring this girl himself. His father eventually agreed, and soon Milk was bought from the other household and brought into theirs, placed under Aya for tutelage into how to become a new maid. While he still hated the idea of spending time at home, he resolved himself to get closer to this new girl and find out if she really is like him and, if she is, then what exactly 'they' are.
Age: 15 years old
Personality: Milk is an observer. She pays attention to her surroundings simply because she is too cautious and distrust over what is around her. She doesn't talk much because she doesn't feel confident in connecting with other people. She is aware that she is not the same, therefore tends to avoid the crowds. Her biggest dislike will be to be stared at in disgust just because she is not the same as others. Just like her name though, she loves milk to the death.
Background story: Milk was abandoned in a dumpster in an alley when she was a baby. Her parents considered her a curse for having ears like a cat. She was taken by a man who raised her to be the star of his freak show - forcing her to perform various of things to attract audience. One day, the freak show was attacked by robbers on its way to another city. Among the goods taken was Milk who was immediately sold at high bid by the robbers to a wealthy man. That man soon made her life miserable before another gentleman bought her from him.
All torn and confused, she was shoved to another master.
Age: 19 years old
Personality: Aya is a goal-oriented kind of girl. She develops a sense of understanding that to do the tasks given on time and precisely as requested is more important than the process itself - just like someone used to say "The dish is to be served perfectly despite the huge damage in the kitchen". Aya might seems like the kind of girl who is cold and distant, but she can be very gentle and warm, given the correct circumstances. Being in the house long enough makes her develops a sense of care over Alice, especially after Alice's mother passed away.
Background story: Aya came from a long family line that had served the family she is serving at the moment. She was once first brought to the house when she was only 10, being trained in the house to be a good maid. She was left in the house to work there officially two years later, having to juggle between school and working there as a maid. But a year later, just after her 13th birthday, her house got burned down with her parents died inside. Devastated but tried to remain professional was the reason that the Master of the house took her in completely and made her the Lead Maid in the house, responsible of making sure everything ran well in the house.
Age: 16 years old
Personality: Alice is the princess in the family. Being the only girl after her mother's death makes her close herself from others, including her father and brother. She minds her own business and usually doesn't talk much unless she really needs to. People know her as someone harsh in words - somewhat like talking bluntly without thinking. She connects better with animals, stating that animals will never lie.
Background story: Alice lived her whole life being homeschooled, unlike her brother. Her parents believed that the best education for girls could only be obtained when they could monitor their child's progress 24/7. That was why she had never really develop a sense of longing to have a friend, because she got used to being alone. Her mother's death was not really a big hit for her. She had been the one who educated her from the beginning and she 'trained' her to be the best young lady in a hard way. Somehow, there was a sense of freedom once she died. She was never too close with her father either. He was somehow someone who had the title Master of the house but very seldom seen at home. She knew her personal maid better, being the one who took care of her most of the time. She was the closest she had that she could call a friend.
Age: 15 years old
Personality: Rain is quiet. She doesn't talk much. She doesn't really do a lot of things in the house. She spends most of the day sitting near the window, staring at the garden overlooking the window. Rain has a doll she always hugs and never lets go wherever she goes. Rain has very sharp and cold eyes that when she stares, people tend to look elsewhere as to escape the eyes. Despite her coldness, she has a very simple likeness to milk as the only drink she wants.
Background story: Rain seems to be the only odd one. She was brought to the family a year ago by the Master of the house and had been taken care just like his daughter should - mostly so that Alice wouldn't feel alone. He claimed that Rain was standing all by herself near a river one night under the rain. Thus where her name was taken from since she hasnt spoken at all ever since she was brought to the house. Rain was seldom seen around the house, except the library where there was a huge and comfy sofa she could sit on while staring at the window overlooking the garden.
Aya took time taken caring of Rain as instructed by the Master - making sure that Rain was properly fed and cleaned, making sure that Rain was comfortable in the house, despite Rain's lack of response and communication skills.

since this rp was hotaru's idea, i think she should do the first post ^_^
When Milk heard that her master sold her to another one, there was this mixed feelings inside her. Should she be happy? Or should she be sad? The fact that her second master never really treated her as a human indeed brought anticipation to how the new master would treat her.
She knew everything about ill treatment from her two masters. Come to think of it, she could count using only one hand the time when there was someone who actually looked at her as fellow human. Most of the time, she was just a comodity, a tool for others to earn money or even a toy for people to play without her being able to fight back. It was painful but whole her life, it was very seldom for her to be able to choose what treatment she would like to get from others. It had always been someone else's choice that was applied to her.
"Come out, Milk..." her master ordered her as he opened the dog cage where she had been forced to stay in under her master's captive whole this time. It was designed for a big dog, thus fit her petite body perfectly. It was where she spent most of time waiting for her master's orders.
She crawled out of the cage and looked at him as she did so. He just grinned and attached a leash to her leather collar around her neck. He gestured her to follow him as she pulled the leash while walking in front of her. It was embarrassing, despite the fact that it was not something new for her.
She crawled behind him until they went inside the living room before her master stopped. He gestured her to kneel down near his feet. She did so. As always. But her eyes glanced at the man sitting on the sofa across where her master sat down.
"Milk...meet your new master..." her master introduced the man. She stared at her master in confused look. Her master just gestured her to crawl to her new master. She glanced at him once again before obeying, lowering her head down and just crawled to the man, nuzzling to his shoes when she was close enough.
Her heart was pounding faster in anticipation as she glanced at the new master from the corner of her eyes.
She heard her master talked to the man, about her...as if she was not there. How she had been very satisfactory when it came to services she gave him in various ways. Being there and talked about, collared and leashed, wearing nothing but a see-through lingerie that didnt really cover any part of her body significantly made her felt so embarrassed. Her master was nothing but a man with so many creative ideas on how to degrade her to the limit. He really made sure he broke her to pieces every time he made her do something beyond her will. Finally the torture of embarrassement was over when her master and the man stood up, shaking their hands with the man thanking her master for his generousity. The man also talked about some digits agreed - the payment was completed, she heard. Then the man just took her leash and led her to the door with him still talking to her ex-master. She wad forced to crawl behind him until he asked her to climb inside the car.
*chuckles* did you not see the IC thread link up there?
