The RP starts on 10th September 1939. German Panzers are rolling over Poland, Britain and France declared war on Germany with both of them deploying forces on the east borders of France. In a week the Soviet Union will declare war on Poland. In Asia Japan's advance in China is slowly grinding to a halt. Protected by oceans the United States ignores the war in Europe and only minimal involves in what is going on in China. It is only day nine of the bloodiest conflict of history.
Expect a lot of timeslips. Also you can wait until we get into the first half of 1941 to make USA characters. You can make a letter like post for the period that we skiped (don't espect a lot of skips for German characters and only a few for Japanese, Soviet will have a large pause from the end of the Winter War to the German invasion, British will depend on the unit, USA also after 1942).
After the fall of France their only avabable supernatural unit will switch to Free France and join the Allies. As 1941 ends the Yugoslav Partisans will be added as a fighting side. After the fall of Italy in 1943 Italian characters will be able to switch to allied side or try to fight their way to German forces and join them. If you want any other country to be included just say, no matter if it's Allied or Axis.

Race: Spirit attached to armor, through a gem in the back of his skull...helm. (Think Alphonse from FMA)
History: Emil remembers very little of his past life. He knows he was a soldier, an infantry man, he remembers his skill with a blade, but beyond that..nothing. His first memory is of awakening in a location completely unknown to him, facing a man completely unknown to him, mumbling under his breath. "And just who the he-" Emil began, only to be cut off. "AND I NAME THEE RUNIC!!" The strange man bellowed, gesturing dramatically. Emil laughed, hard. "My name is Runic you idiot-Ah! What the hell!? My name is Runic!" This continued for a few moments, Emil growing more and more panicked as he attempted to remember his name. He knew it wasn't Runic, but why the hell couldn't he remember it!? When he finally gave up and just stood in silence, the man spoke again. "Are you quite done Runic?" "Fuck off." Even before he had finished the sentence, the man gestured, and pain lanced through Emil's entire body.
When he had stopped screaming, the man continued conversationally, as if he hadn't just sent Emil through unimaginable pain. "If you'd look down, you would notice that on the armor and clothes that harbor your spirit, there are runes. They both serve as your name, your catalyst for magic, and my way of punishing you for disobedience. Do we understand each other?" Emil's response was less than diplomatic. For the next few hours, Emil was 'trained'. Eventually, he stopped being 'disobedient', and even managed to suppress his scream when he saw that he was a glowing blue light contained by armor and runes. Oh dear Gods...
The following years involved him getting use to his new existence and abilities. Magic, his superior strength, and his decided lack of the ability to feel pain. After that, it was war after war. Death after death, and his continuous disproving of the statement, 'Nothing lasts forever.' His 'master' seemed determine to live as long as Emil was, much to the spirit warrior's dismay, until an musket ball crashed through his eyeball.
Rather than the death he sought however, Emil was left alive. Thus, he was presented a choice. Continue serving Prussia, or go on his own way. Old habits die hard, and he continued to serve what he assumed was his original country before untimely death.

Race: Granddaughter of Perun and Veles
History: Zofia was born to a son of Perun and a daughter of Veles. Naturally, the two hated enemies were less than pleased when they discovered this. The two managed to keep their romance, and conception of Zofia, a secret for a number of years before they were discovered and punished. The parents planned to have one of them Zofia how to use her gifts, depending on whose side of the family her powers manifested on. Luckily, or perhaps unluckily, for Zofia gained benefits from both of her godly grandparents. As such, she was taught by both her parents how to wield her unique powers.
By the time Veles and Perun noticed what had happened, Zofia was 23. It didn't cause them to hesitate at all, and soon they descended upon their children. Their wrath was great, but they could be pleaded with. Zofia was made a deal. Spread the true religion of the Pantheon, combating the christian lies, and return the people of Poland to their roots. If she succeeded, her parents would be spared. Zofia agreed, and was granted immortality to battle for the worship of the people. She was even given a companion to keep her company. For years, she begged and pleaded, gave speeches and sermons, proved that the gods existed, and were not pagan fantasies. And she fought for a doomed cause. Despite her best efforts, more and more people were turning to the Christian Monks. These people in turn taught their sons and daughters, who in turn taught their sons and daughters, and so on so forth, damaging Zofia's efforts in a way death could never have.
She enlisted into the Polish army(Supernatural Division) as soon as she heard of the German advance. Surely this threat to her homeland was more important than the one she had been fighting for all these long years? After all, it mattered little if she convinced the people of Poland to turn away from the lies spread by the monks if they turned to the Germanic gods. Thus, did Zofia begin to fight another doomed cause as her Division was sent to the front lines. They were powerless to stop the German advance, despite all their efforts. One by one Zofia's comrades, both human and non-human, fell to the advance of the Germans. And still she kept fighting. She would not let them take her homeland from her so easily! However, it soon came for Zofia's turn. She remembers little of how it happened. One minute she as battling against the human Germans, the next she was hit by a tank blast at a fairly short distance. Crashing through several trees, she came to stop in a small forest.
There, her Hypostasis took control, and she retreated into the form of an oak, to tend her injuries and to keep her alive. If only just. That was three days ago.
Rank & Division: N/A Her Division was wiped out in the face of the German Blitzkrieg, leaving Zofia the only one left alive. Even then only barely.
Combat skills: Being both trained in war from a young age and related to the Granddaughter of Perun, she is proficient at combat in any form. However, she prefers her sword(seen in appearance)

Supernatural abilities: Being the granddaughter of Perun and Veles, Zofia has a variety of supernatural abilities at her disposal.
Storm magic: She can do a variety of things involving lightning. Stretching from giving small shocks to summoning a local lightning storm, to anything in between.
Energized by war: During combat, she's filled with a wild energy, never tiring.
Hypostasis: Whenever Zofia 'dies' her body doesn't show any damage. If a tank was to shoot her, she'd go flying backwards rather than turning into a red mist. She does, however, essentially enter a coma before turning into a tree to heal. This is far from an assured escape from death, as if the tree goes...so does she.
Summon Ancestors: Zofia can summon five of her ancestors from the underworld to battle at her side once more. These spectral warriors can take damage as if they were flesh and blood, if being able to ignore wounds that aren't killing blows(For example, if an arm was loped off, the spectral warrior would continue unperturbed. If a shotgun was fired into it's stomach, the spectral warrior would dissipate.).
Dragonskin: Zofia can inherit a single trait of the dragons. Their powerful scales. Strangely enough, while extremely useful for blocking your average bullets, any melee weapon can damage her as if she wasn't covered in dragon scales.
Summon Gold: Zofia can summon a few gold coins out of thin air. Quick cash, but utterly useless in battle.
Other: She has a pet dragon Peles, who is about the size of a terrier.

History: She was born in a time long ago. The world she (Or he,Frost has forgotten) saw den is long gone and its wonders now lies solely in Frost and her memories. However she has watched humans grow and become what they are today. She and the old faes guarded them and tutored them. Mother Fire gave them the flint as Grandfather Earth gave them the branch to make a fire to warm in the coldness of mother snow and father frost. Princess frost was the only child that the fae's of old would see. For soon the old world died when humans grew up. When fariy tales stop being real. When the faes of the wood where a danger and a treat. When the coming of winter was death and darkness. She is now (As far as she knows it anyhow) the last fae of the old world and she is the only one that keeps reincarnating. Before she would be reborn in the winter and die in the spring. Now with no fae to help her she must be everything.
And with everything that includes defending ''Mother Russia'' as the humans call it. It's her land and the people there are her's to defend.
Personality: Princess frost is cold. She...or a better title would be IT is a force of nature uncaring for the passing of the ages. She is there to keep the wheel going. Its rare that she cares about mortal affairs but this is such a time. Taking on the from of Vasilisa she has joined the USSR supernatural military wing as a powerful sorceress. As her Vasilisa persona she is still cold but to a much more human decree. It comes across as jadedness more den inhumanity. She loves telling stories that go on for hours as well.

A masterfully storyteller
Ice magic when in her human form. This magic summons up the power of the old land to strike at its foes. This includes creating snowstorms (On a local scale) summon ice spikes from the ground and if given time even kill foes by freezing them internally. Machines fear no better as the fuel tank freezes or the tracks stick to the ground.
As a fae of insanely old age she is also immune to the weather climate of her homeland. A snowstorm is just as big a problem as walking down a sun-lit street for her. She doesn't need to eat neither (Even if she does to keep up appearances) nor sleep. She is also immune to any sort of poisoning or gas that is not supernatural in nature.
She can also discard her human skin to reveal her true from. In this form she becomes a true force of nature who's power's are only limited by the fact that she is powerless outside Russia. Also she must recreated a new body by stealing a dead one and fusing with it. This process takes 1000 years of deep sleep in the ice of the north pole so she will only do this if her life was depending on it.
Other: She wears gloves. The reason for this is that if anyone would shake (or touch) her skin their hand would get frost bites.

History: Adalinda was born in berlin to wealthy parents. Her father was an officer in ww1, earning commendations for bravery. It was all for nothing when the war ended and her family lost everything. As her parents waited in line for their daily bread, Adalinda, a child still, reached for a rock on the ground, something to play with. It levitated into her grasp, scaring and confusing many people. A few years went by with her family being shunned around every corner, calling their daughter a witch or demon.
Finally when Nazi's came into power, her parents joined in the crusade under Hitler's banner. Adalindas father was brought back into the military as an officer, training new officers in battlefield tactics and when approached about the "supernatural" rumors of his daughter, he merely pointed to where she was and only saying, "May she serve Germany proud." and was the last time he heard about Adalinda. Her mother didn't fight the SS as they came to the door but pushed her daughter out with pride. Her mother felt this was her greatest contribution to Germany.
Multiple years of straight training with hardly any breaks and no opportunity to go home began to bear a ferocious killer with a unshakable loyalty that could only be explained by the propaganda videos that played in her sleep. Her life was the German nation, the Nazi party, and the strength of what she was dubbed, a prime example of the superior Ayran race. She proved her worth multiple times during anti-Nazi uprisings, butchering many people in Hitler's name. She was even coined the Berlin Butcher due to the often.. gruesome at the very least, style she kills people. The name has since stuck and she almost takes a sadistic pride in it.
Her tactical proficiency in simulated battlefield scenarios and most likely her fathers insisting, has gained her a special place in the military. When she met with Hitler for the first time, he was so impressed with her abilities and knowledge that he promoted her personally.
Personality:She is a very awkward individual when it comes to social interaction other than military standards. She also only has the basic understanding of science, math and other similar fields.

Rapid regeneration- She can regenerate limbs and tissue in a short amount of time which gives her a unique advantage in combat situations. She has to be stationary for it to take place. There are two major weak points though, the heart and brain. If either are pierced and destroyed, the healing will not take place and she will likely die.
Telekinesis- She can project energy to manipulate items in a moderate proximity, usually within 8 feet around her. It isn't fine enough to write or turn pages but she can turn door knobs and lift objects that would normally be too heavy for a person of her build.
Thought form- Adalinda's most notorious ability is projection. She can 'form' two massive 'arms' out of her back that can manipulate objects or turn the tips of the arms into long piercing/slashing blades. The furthest she has been able to reach her arms is 10 feet and can deliver with incredible force.
Divine intervention- She can summon an array of an.. 'Purifying Light' to burn her foes. The ray of light can burn flesh as if the person was caught in a white hot fire. It is effective versus most types of armor and for any thing that isn't burned will be dangerously hot to the touch. If used on a tank and it is able to resist the direct attack, with enough time the armor would be heated well above 500 degrees, killing anyone inside. It is unclear where this energy comes from but hitler himself believes it is just another powerful trait of the 'master race'
Being able to drive is a big plus in these days within the Europe due to the relative lack of experienced drivers.

History: Isidora was born in San Sebastian, Spain, as a part of an old aristocrat family, her mother an old English aristocrat, which kept it's high life standard and social standing by investing into the national military industry. Although a girl due to her being the only heir to survive early childhood she was raised as a boy, learning, amongst other subjects, using guns, fencing, military strategy & tactics and leadership. As she finished collage Spain was filling with omens of a revolution and war her family cashed in their material wealth and moved to Switzerland, but she refused to go with them, a sense of duty for her country making her stay in Spain where she traveled the country until she meet a Ricardo Vinea a beast tamer which introduced her to taming beast of all kind, from the common rat to the majestic dragon. Half way trough her training Spain split in two and she volunteered for the Republicans, using her ability she used animals against the Nationalists in many ways. In the end the Nationalists won and she emigrated to England where she meet Rose Merrigam which continued to train her until England entered the war. The day after England entered the war she volunteered for the supernatural army.

When the war started she was promoted and but in charge in of a unit in the SS GK Division C "Walküre".
Personality: Cold as 21 07 1983 in Vostok Station on Antarctica and as sharp as an katana. Rakel doesn't care about anything but her duty, to serve Odin.

Personality: Marko is a stern yet friendly young man which cares both for his tank and crew as well as the tank crews put under his command.

Full Name:Sonya Kavolinich
The titular Strike Witches are young women with high magical potential who are recruited into military organizations around the world to fight. Their magical potential provides the strength to utilize weapons far too heavy and powerful for a normal person. A defensive shield can be also created that can protect the Witches from enemy gunfire. Depending on the witch, the strength of the shield varies. Also each witch typically learns one unique ability, passed down through their family line. Though this magical energy is unstable in its raw form, thus the soul of a witch is usually bonded with an animal familiar at infancy, giving the witch animal like features whenever they use their power.
Sonya was born into a quiet farm family that lived near the town of Naryan Mar. The town used to vilify the witches, saying that they were demons sent here to sabotage the human race. This all changed however when Stalin came to power. The combination of banning the Orthodox Church and modernizing Russia's military gave the witches a whole new role in society, for better or for worse. The Soviet military began conscripting witches into the military, giving them no choice in the matter. Sonya's mother had for years hid both her true powers and her daughter's powers from the town and her own husband, but since when can anyone keep a secret, even if they tell nobody of it? To make matters worse, the father was a very devout communist, believing it is what made Russia the greatest country in the world.
Around the age of seventeen, Sonya was out with her father helping him hunt. She seemed to have a great aptitude towards sharpshooting whenever she went hunting with him, making her father proud each time they went out. Though this trip would have a very different result. It had been snowing heavily for the past few days and a new, thick coat of snow lay on everything. Sonya was couched in the snow while her father lay next to a tree. They were about to take down an elk when there was a very loud snap. A huge branch of a dead tree cracked under the weight of the snow and fell towards her father. In a split section decision, Sonya raced over to him, her white wolf ears sprouting from her head and a faint blue aura around her glowed for a second as she activated her magic. She caught the branch just before it landed on her father. Her father was in stunned at what he just saw, and he simply got up and told her it was time to go home. They didn't speak a word as they walked back. The next day, the husband quietly said he was going into town to pick up supplies, he arrived later that day empty handed. Instead he held his firewood ax. Sonya only remembered waking up on the floor of her house, covered in blood, and her now dead parents laying on the floor. A can broke through the window, quickly filling the room with a gas that caused her to pass out of consciousness yet again. Since then she was "recruited" into the Red Army as a Strike Witch, training for around six years in the ways of a sharpshooter. She discovered her magical ability complimented her skills with the rifle, so it seemed like it was the useful position for her. Now she waits in Kiev for the invasion of Poland.

Enhanced Speed: Can move slightly faster than the normal human, but not like cheetah fast.
Personal Shield: Can hold up against typical rife fire, but not against anything heavy like tank rounds or .50 cal bullets. Also she cannot keep in up for to long.
Magical Eye: It acts almost like her own built in scope and greatly improves her aim. Hence why she rarely attached a scope to her rifle.
Other: While heavily trained and no stranger to death, she is still green. Real warfare might not be to much of a shock to her, but non the less there will be something.

Age: ??? (Known to be at least 238)
Appearance: Anastazy's appearance is that of a middle-a man of average height and weight, with dark brown hair to his shoulders, brown eyes, and a rather long and pointed nose. However, his undead nature is still quite apparent; his skin is grey, his left eye is gone leaving only an empty socket, his right cheek has a massive hole in it that reveals his teeth and jaws, the flesh on his left arm is completely gone, his spine is completely exposed, and there are several gaping holes in his torso where his ribcage is visible. His clothing depends upon those whom he is around, though he wears no uniform without exception. He considers it disrespectful to the previous Polish armies he fought alongside. For the most part he wears only a simple pair of pants made of rough fabric and tied at his waist with a piece of rope. However, when he is around those not in the Supernatural Unit, as well as those who may be disturbed by his appearance, he wears a hooded cloak that is just as simple as his pants.
History: Absolutely nothing is known of Anastazy's life before he became the undead entity that he is now, and many who know of him believe that the person he is now did not even exist before undeath. What is known is that he was discovered by the Polish in 1701 during the Great Northern War, where he was more than happy to aid the Polish in their, ultimately useless, defense against the Swedish. After this, he stayed an unofficial part of the Polish military, more than happy to aid his living brothers in any wars they may be embroiled in. However, when Poland was divided in 1795, Anastazy went into hiding and began wandering the wilds of Poland. However, he happily fought in any conflicts that directly effected the Polish, and quite enjoyed tearing his enemies apart when he joined in any uprising against those who controlled his homeland. Naturally, he kept his undead nature a secret for the most part, oftentimes obscuring himself with a black cloak. Rumours, however, still spread of him, and when Poland was finally recognized as a sovereign state after the Great War, they were more than happy to add him to the Supernatural division of the military.
Personality: Anastazy's personality is marked by fierce loyalty to Poland and the Polish people, and he takes a vicious enjoyment in killing their enemies. Despite this, he is actually a rather kind and gentle person to those he does not see as enemies.
Rank & Division: He refused an official rank in the military, as he's always done. He sees no particular reason why it's necessary, he's in the military to fight, and will do so as he fits, even if it means disobeying a direct order (not that this is a common occurrence, it's just been known to happen). He's one of the remnants of Poland's Supernatural Brigade.
Combat skills: While he has no actual training, centuries of killing people with his bare hands have made him quite proficient in hand-to-hand combat.
Intelligence skills: None
Other skills: Knows a fair bit about Polish history (having experienced the more violent parts of it himself) as well as being familiar with Polish terrain.
Supernatural abilities: Bulletproof- As a Fext, Anastazy is completely immune to bullets, they simple hit him to no effect. For the most part they don't even push him back and merely fall or bounce off. However, he does feel the force of heavier weapons at close range, though it's usually only enough to make flinch. This doesn't extend to any kind of melee weapons, more primitive ranged weapons, or missiles/rockets. Cannons are an interesting case, as the shell hitting him has no effect whatsoever, since a cannon can just be considered a really big gun. However, most cannon shells explode, and he is not immune to the explosion in the slightest. Though there is one major exception to this rule, and that is that Anastazy is vulnerable to bullets made of glass.
Strength: Anastazy is, without a doubt, much stronger than a human. Despite his appearance he is more than capable of lifting a man and throwing him, or literally ripping his arms off. However, this doesn't quite go into the realm of superstrength.
Undead: As an undead creature, Anastazy has many of the attributes one would associate with it. He doesn't need to eat, breathe, drink, or sleep. He can survive even crippling wounds and is able to move quite well with holes in his body. However, if he suffers too much damage to his head (such as it getting impaled) he will die. Permanently.
Weakness to Glass: While simply coming into contact with glass is no problem, as mentioned above he is vulnerable to glass bullets; but being injured by glass is more painful and unpleasant for him in general. It's to the point that he'd rather be run through with a sword than slice is hand on a piece of glass. This also results in the rather interesting fact that he hates being near windows.
Other: Not particularly fond of the Russians or Germans (those from Prussia and Austria in particular) due to those states dividing up of Poland in the past.

History: Not much is known about the Legion. There are those who say that she was the hproduct of a ritual binding four thousand ravens to a host body. Some say she was created before the Franco-Prussian War as a backup in case the Prussians lost. Others say that since she was never needed, that they simply locked her in darkness in case she was ever needed. When they found her, enclosed in a cell beneath the earth, she looked at them with her eyes-that-where-many-in-one and spoke, her voice underlaid with the sound of many ravens. "Is it finally time for me to be used?" And it was. She seems to hold no anger towards her imprisonment, and strives for the fatherland.

Combat skills: Hand-to-hand, especially after a regeneration of the hands and feet.
Intelligence skills: Master at reconnaissance due to her powers. And since her ravens look like any other, most don't know that she's potentially watching.

Raven Blood: Four thousand ravens is a lot of back-up flesh. She regenerates rapidly from just about anything. She'll have limbs rebuilt in a few minutes. Regenerating areas are marked by a decidedly avian-esque look, so feathers and scales. Limbs are taloned. Look can persist until the actual human-flesh regrows, so she tries to avoid it.
Raven Scout: She cab extract one of the ravens in her body and send it out for use as a scout. She shares their senses and thus knows what they know. She can send out up to ten at a time. Killed ravens automatically return to her.
A Conspiracy of Ravens: If absolutely necessary, she can unleash all of ravens at once into the area around her. This is her trump card and only gets used if all else fails. While the ravens are out, she is weakened severely. But it can be hard to comprehend that there could be so many beings in just one body.
