Harry Potter - Rationalizations (Me and DarkRavenParker)
Draco never liked to shop. He had house elves and servants for that specific reason. He hated having to go out and let people know that he still existed beyond what they saw in the papers. Draco liked being larger than life so he kept himself hidden from all that may or may not be looking to bring him back down to Earth. With a long and dramatic, mostly to himself, sigh, he was off to get his shopping done. Many things had happened since the war, but nobody seemed to remember that he was of noble blood and that just because his father more or less blackmailed him into joining the Death Eaters didn't mean that he should be treated like a lesser being. Though with all the glares here and there from very few witches and wizards, he felt the pressure that came with really existing in this world.
He needed a break from everything. Even having only gone to three of the ten shops he may or may not need to go to it was still a chore. He had a headache from listening to complaints about what his work is doing, what the Malfoy business is doing, from other nobles asking about his child that would never see his mother because she was a conniving money-grubbing whore. That and how he was taking the divorce, why he was given custody of Scorpius rather than have the young boy live with his mother. It was all very stressful and it seemed to only get worse because right here int he diner he was at, was none other than Harry Potter. Alone.
Harry Potter. Why him? Just being in the same room as the man made Draco unhappy and uncomfortable. But nothing could be done because this is the only place that served worthwhile tea!
