Jason sighed and laid his bags onto the desk and bed in his dorm. It was the end of summer and college was starting for most people. But for him hell was opening up. the dorms were co-ed, so it was one guy and one girl to a room. Every room. He'd tried his hardest to get a room away from most of the chatty girls, but there would always be a few who wanted to talk. Just getting in the door he had to deal with a slew of conversations. He groaned and flopped back on his bed, cursing the school systems for setting this up.
In our world this may seem like a great set up. But in the world Jason lives in, being gay is the norm. Only recently has heterosexuality been accepted into society. He despises straight relationships and wouldn't dream of being in one. The only comfort he gets from being with a female roommate is that he is rooming with one of his female friends. And even so, he'd rather be alone. He closed his eyes and shook his head. "If only they wouldn't make us do this," he moaned. "I mean really. a man and a woman being so close? It's unnatural!"
He sat up when he heard someone knock on the door. He was still mourning the loss of his freedom as he opened the door and peered out to see two cute guys. They told him they were his neighbors and that they were throwing a party that night. Jason smiled and nodded, agreeing to meet them there. He chuckled as he closed the door and rubbed his hands together. "Maybe it won't be so bad..." he said to himself before laying in bed again, his mind drifting off to how nice one of the guys' ass looked.
Celena was glad that she was teamed up with on of her male friends, because then she would be able to tell him something, something that she had been hiding for years since it wasn't accepted in society. She knew she was straight from the moment that she had been 10 years old, she always had dreams about Jason and she knew she wanted to be with him. She knew that it wasn't natural and that she would be called a breeder because of it. Liking the other sex wasn't how the world worked, no it was wrong and her parents had always told her that. They even had tried to stop her friendship with Anna because she had a boyfriend.
Though she supposed the people that were strong enough to tell everyone and she never had hidden that fact. That was also why some people ignored her because she supported the breeders. Because she was a breeder lover and that was just not done. She on the other hand didn't feel like it was wrong, to her it was just a way to love and to raise a child just like any other couple. Her parents both were very handsome men and she looked more like her dad William. He just looked a bit more feminine. She just knew he was her best friend to and he even had gotten her a car for college.
She smiled when she walked into the dorm and smiled at her best friend, and the guy she had a huge crush on. "Hey Jase, how are you. Have you heard it? Straight marriage finally is allowed." she said as her eyes sparkled. "Anna and Jeff are going to get married and I can be the ring carrier. Isn't that awesome? They will be one of the first couples to marry even when they are very young." she said as she moved to get everything to her own room and smiled at him. "And please don't start that their marriage is wrong, you know how I think about it. I was thinking that maybe we could just watch a movie, you know Romeo and Julio?" she asked as she couldn't' wait to stay close to her friend that day.
"Ugh....Don't remind me..." Jason pulled a pillow over his head. He couldn't stand the thought, even less so coming from a woman and a bree--Jason sighed. He'd never thought of calling her that before just then. He sat up and looked over to her, feeling twinges of guilt. "I...guess it's not so bad..." He mumbled. "As long as they keep it in their own homes. We don't need those freaks parading around like a circus...." He slid down off of his bed and shook his head. "Well a couple of guys came by just a moment ago. They say they're having a party tonight, so we could go to that."
Jason wasn't really the party type, but there would at least be cute guys there so it wouldn't be all bad. He began to unpack his clothes, putting them into his dresser. "But I guess we could watch Romeo and Julio until then." He wasn't big on tragedies, but she always seemed to want to watch either Romeo and Julio or Romera and Juliet. There were rumors of a straight movie coming out called Romeo and Juliet. Jason had already made plans to be far away from any movie theater to avoid being suckered into watching it by Celena.
Celena felt as if he was stabbing her when he said straight people were freaks, so maybe it wasn't the best idea to tell him that she actually was straight. That she actually thought that he would have more considerate, but he was just like everyone else. "You do realize you are mocking my friends right? Anna is a great girl and her boyfriend is very nice. I mean they even get comments when they hold each other's hand, they don't even kiss in public. So what is so bad about it? It's also love." she said as she then moved to her room and went to put on a dress that she loved, she never had worn it but she felt like it would actually fit her.
She knew it was more of a girly dress and she didn't know how others would think of it, because she had gotten in from her friend Anna before she came out. It was then that she had given her that dress, when she had told her while she was afraid to lose her best friend. She did lose her friends and family for the most part. She then walked back out after doing her hair and makeup and then she moved to the couch and sighed. "Why do you think they are freaks?" she asked as she turned on the tv and then smiled at him. "I mean, you can't choose who you love right. I never even fell in love and I know my best friend. She's pretty normal"

Jason sighed and looked down. He hadn't meant to make Celena. He just truly got disgusted from even the thought of being straight. It just seemed against all things, even the Bible spoke against it. He shook his head and walked into the concealed area of his room, putting on a pink sweater and cargo pants, topping it off with a red fedora before walking back out and sitting next to her. "I know your friends are nice and all," he said, holding her hand. He'd never done that before. It was considered inappropriate for non siblings to hold hands when they were of opposite gender. But he owed her some taboos. "But it's really not something I agree with..."
He sighed and pulled her closer, wrapping his arm around her. "If you tell anyone this happened I will deny it all." He chuckled and rubbed her arm slowly. "I know you can't choose who you love. Thankfully we both love normally, even if you do support the bree--others..." He looked away and closed his eyes. He'd almost said it again. He hoped this wouldn't be a continuous thing...
Celena always loved it when he held her like that, then she could pretend this was another world where straight was the norm, then she and him would be together. But then it was the moment that he decided to talk about loving normally and she knew that he would never even consider being straight. She knew it wasn't the best thing out there as she smiled at him and laid her head on his shoulder. "Yeah, lucky us." she whispered as she meant it more in a sarcastic way, she wanted him but she knew it would never even happen. She just looked at him and sighed "This will also be a new start hmm?" she asked as she looked at the screen, wondering if she could go watch the version with the female.
"Did you know that he wrote that for a woman. They say that Shakespeare was straight." she said as she looked at him and chuckled. "It changes a lot when you look at it in that way. And I'm probably freaking you out again hmm Jase." she said as she looked him over and pushed his shoulder. Sticking out her tongue as she looked at him and smirked "Like people need to know that we do this, I mean even if someone found out, it isn't like were were kissing." she said as she stuck out her tongue. "And then to think it all started with Katy Perry's I kissed a boy."
Jason chuckled and pulled her back to him. Wrong or not, he loved cuddling with her. Even if he was too scared to tell her. He didn't want people to get the wrong idea. Sure he enjoyed being around her but not that way. They were just really close friends. But the moment they see them touching he'd be labeled straight and she'd become one of "the breeders." So he kept it a secret, even if she did want to go running in the streets telling everyone...
He chuckled and stroked her hair slowly. "You know maybe I will watch that movie with you...." He knew she'd like that. And he did owe her more than one favor...
"Really? That would be so awesome. We can go with Anna and Jeff and maybe you can take people?" she asked as she loved the way his hand stroked over her sides, she loved cuddling with him as she swallowed. "But maybe it is better we just borrow the movie or something, you know people will call us breeders if we go there together. And I know you don't ever want to be called that." she said as she looked at him and sighed. "I guess I wouldn't even care if they called me that, I know better." she said as she smiled at him and then moved her hand over his chest. "I get it though, I mean I know how comfortable I feel around you and I just know what people feel when they are in love. Though I know we'll never be breeders or whatever but I understand people that are straight." she said as she looked at him.
"And if I ever want a child, then I would ask you. You have great genes and you're my best friend. So I hope you wouldn't feel weird about it?" she asked as she looked at him and blushed. "I must sound crazy to be thinking about it, but I just want a child." she said with a smile as she looked at him and smiled. She was actually hoping he would not act strange about it.
Jason tried not to fidget, but he found himself clamming up. He tried to reply but all he could do was nod slightly and slide away. He hated the thought of even getting close to a naked woman. His mothers had made sure he saw everything on them and it quite frankly terrified him to even consider being that close to another naked female, let alone his best friend. But she said it as if it were nothing. He shook hid head a few times before finally regaining his composure.
"It's not that I don't....think you having kids is great and all...But I have no real intention of having them myself, even for someone else..." He slid further away, trying to make himself relax. He had issues with women from before. He hadn't told her that, but if any female besides her came close to him he couldn't take it. It got so bad at times that he'd be able to do nothing but scream....
Instantly Celena realized that he was being strange as she looked at him and moved closer, she knew that it was a bad idea as she looked at him and then decided to wing it. "You know, you don't have to be like lying with me you know. You know the artificial way that some high end Christians use lately. I didn't mean to freak you out that's all. I know you're not the post comfortable around women, thanks to your mothers." she said as she hoped he was actually going to relax as she sighed. "Let's just forget what I said okay? It's not like I want a baby now, I need a wife first." she said as she looked at him and then patted the spot next to her.
"And don't ask me how I know, I'm still a woman and I know you better then anyone else." she said as she looked at him and stuck out her tongue "Don't you want your Dna to be passed on?" she asked as she sighed. "But if you don't, then I'll just have to look for a guy that is like you." she said with a smiled as she sighed. "Just forget about it, I'm just messing with you, I would never ever make you feel uncomfortable."
