Post-Apocalypticy Sci-Fi Fantasy?
Ok, random silly idea time. On some magical futuristic fantasy desert world with elves running around with guns and the like there are magic artifacts that do cool stuff. Naturally these are very valuable, so people want them. We play as a group of artifact hunters going after said artifacts. Shenanigans ensue.
So think Dune meets S.T.A.L.K.E.R. meets Shadowrun with a dash of steampunk, clockpunk, dieselpunk and I guess any other punkpunks you can think of. Yeah.
We'd be playing as a selection of fantasy races, I'd probably be pretty open with races.
Magic is all based on artifacts, no body is inherently magical or can learn magic. So item-based magic I guess.
The world is sparsely populated with a few big cities but mostly smaller settlements.
Artifacts are usually unique items with special properties that often come with a cost. Some artifacts are more commonplace and not unique.
To get a feel for the style of the game, look at Destiny (as in the new Bungie game with guns and people and stuff and magic and aliens and space but this has less space) but with fantasy races and the like. Guess there could be robot people too.
Some areas have excessive amounts of magic 'radiation' that can cause sicknesses, mutations, and more.
So yeah. I'm rambling. Anyone interested?
