Rise from Memory, Protect the Past (OOC)
Welcome to the "Rise from Memory, Protect the Present" OOC! Please don't ask about the name, for I am bad at naming! -_-' anyway, onward to the story summary!
THE SUMMARYWithin Graveyard, the resting place of dead and destroyed Dimensions, an unusually large amount of negative energy gave birth to a creature that willed to destroy existing dimensions. The guardian of Graveyard sealed the creature within an empty dimension, using 5 other dimensions as locks, but not before it released 5 other powerful beings, formed by the same negative energy as the original. Seeking to free the creature from its seal, the beings attempted to destroy the 5 locks. In order to more easily accomplish this, they collected negative energy from those dimensions and sent it through the seal to the original creature, who in turn molded monsters from it, and sent it to them as minions.
By the time Graveyard's Guardian realized the Negative Beings' existence, it was too late. They had already begun their attack on the seal's locks. Unable to abandon its duties of watching over Graveyard, the guardian requested the help of a forgotten person. This person agreed to help. With knowledge about the enemy, the two found that a solution to the situation was not only to send new heroes, but also ones whose journeys began, but never finished and were eventually forgotten. While waiting for the new heroes to be revealed, the two collaborated to summon forgotten heroes from the remains of their destroyed dimensions...
You already should know to follow the rules set up by the Roleplayer Guild, so here's some specific rules for this RP:
1.NO ARGUING! (If there is a problem or a disagreement among any of you, please talk to me about it. I try to help resolve problems as best as I can)
2.No god-like characters or deus ex machina! (That is to say, there is no item or character that can overcome every obstacle presented in the RP with an action that takes only one post. This doesn't mean that your character's abilities are short ranged, they just can't solve every obstacle within one or two posts)
3.Please post regularly. (I'm not saying that you need to post everyday, but please don't make us wait a week for you. If you can't post for an extensive period of time for some reason, then please PM me, and I will create a way to keep the plot moving, without forgetting about your characters. An example of this is having the character need to return to base for some reason and using a character that I control to bring them back, until you return.)
4.Posts should be at least 1 paragraph long. (The reason for 1 paragraph is that it can be hard to think of things to write sometimes, so if you can't make more than a paragraph with the story's circumstances, then that would be enough. It is preferred if you write more, but it still not mandatory.)
THE CHARACTER SHEETS
Here's the Character Sheet for:
For Forgotten characters, you can use their origninal Character sheet, or this one:
(NOTE: I'm not going to play one of the main heroes. I'm going to be busy writing out situations and obstacles for you guys to handle. On the bright side, I'm also playing as the "forgotten person" who will help guide the main heroes.)
THE FORGOTTEN PERSON
A person only truly known by a few people. The guardian of Graveyard requested his help in order to keep the Antagonist sealed. To do this, he summons warriors from destroyed and forgotten dimensions to combat the Antagonist's forces, alongside new warriors.
He lives in a tower, where others like himself reside. These forgotten people help him with various tasks. They will assist him in transporting and contacting the protaganists.
Not much else is known about him or his assistants.
