It was a mistake, that's all it was, for I was not the maiden the prince danced with at the ball.
While it is true that we danced, the prince and I, and that I live as a worker for my family, it was not I who won the heart of the prince- I'm not Cinderella!
With the prince calling upon every girl in the land to try on the glass slipper, my mother and father forced me to go try it on myself, and for whatever reason it fit. The kingdom rejoiced while I tried to deny everything. He had the wrong girl, and yet the stupid prince has chosen to wed me, not understanding at all. What makes matters worse? I did meet a boy at the ball, someone I did fall in love with, my true prince charming....Yet he hasn't come for me...Am I doomed to marry the idiot prince, or will my true prince save me?
The plot is that I play a girl, believed to be this 'Cinderella' of the ball, when in reality she is just a girl with the same shoe size that happened to dance once with the prince. At the ball, the girl meets your character- a servant at the castle who is like the prince's shadow. Sneaking away for a moment at the ball, wearing a mask like everyone else, your character and mine have a true connection.
After the ball, when every girl tried on the slipper, my girl had the misfortune of fitting the slipper, and now she is given the choice of a fairytale ending and an easy life....even if she doesn't want it....
But could the whole misunderstanding be cleared up?
Not the greatest plot, I know, but it can work if we work together! :D My whole idea is that everyone thinks she will want this life, so your character tries to stay away as much as possible so she can live this happy life, but plot twists happen! XD
This is middle to high casual.
It sounds pretty interesting, actually. I wouldn't mind joining [:
OH WONDERFUL!! I was worried no one would want to haha XD But thank you so much! So, do you have any questions for me?
uhmm just, what's the setting? I know we're at a ball, but where are we? Who's ballroom? What country? Time period, etc, etc/
Ahhhh~ Well! I'd like to do this around the late 1700's- in our own little made up country. (We can think of things along the way about our country, but the point is that it is made up of royal rulers) There is also a presence of magic- so there are fairy godmothers and witches and all that but you don't see them everyday and some don't believe they exist.
Now, we can either start out at the dance or we can start out after she tries on the slipper and it is announced she will be marring the prince. Your character and mine will most likely stay within the castle unless the plot takes us somewhere else- never know what plot twists might do haha.
Sorry, I babble a bit. I do hope that answered your question >.<
Excellent! Next questions-
Would you like to do a character sheet or just develop our characters though the rp?
Do you want to do thread or PM?
And lastly- do you want to start where they first meet at the ball or after?
1. i enjoy CS. I do mine with pictures
3. First meet at the ball
Wonderful!! Sadly, I must go to bed soon. So, if its okay with you, I'll post name, age, and a photo but finish the rest tomorrow. However, I'll start tonight (I'm rather excited) I hope that's okay. If it is, I'll get working on the starter ^^
Yeah that's perfectly fine. You know what, take time with it. Start tomorrow. I'll still be here [:
