Flying Sword in the Valley of Stones [Asperser vs theracoon]
It was morning when Hua Li went out into the rock fields to continue his 69th out of 100th day training. He was not one to wake up early, but on this particular occasion he had felt strangely spirited after reading the Black Lotus training manual. He started by practicing the five basic fist forms he had read before: wrench, needle, flower, stone, and knife and moved on to more complicated stances: rising wind, curling flower, and earth shattering fist.
Hua Li movements were that of a seasoned veteran of the martial arts world; not only graceful in their execution, but agile and quick. He split a smaller rock in half with his chop of his hand and then drew out a long sword, continuing like the yesterday, to swing his arm in a circular motion, mimicking the motions of two intertwined swords. Today was an auspicious day, and as Hua Li switched to practice yet another stance he found himself wondering whether he would meet another practitioner of the arts somewhere in the field of rocks. Those with skill tended to attract one other, or he had heard people say.
