A New Companion (Twillight Princess Retelling: Angel & overwatch)
Pulling her hair up and out of her face Rosa looked in the dingy mirror. The entire Inn was a mess but she could not blame any of the staff for that. The monster's roaming outside made every place over booked and under staffed. Finishing getting dressed, she pulled her vest on, lacing it up the front as she walked out of the room, locking the door behind her.
Her knives at her waist, she was ready to tackle whatever Telma had to throw at her today. She had helped the Tavern owner out the last several days in return for small bits of money to pay for her room. Today she got up early with the sun, now she was off. Taking the stairs two at a time, she headed outside into the narrow streets of Castle Town. People were already up and about this early in the morning. Taking the short path, cutting through small alley ways towards Telma's bar.
The errands Telma had given her so far were small, fetch things from people she knows for her bar while passing messages along, and sometimes head out into the wilderness and check the level's of monster's in the area before Telma was suppose to head out for her own errands. Rubbing her arms in the crisp morning air, Rosa headed down to the bar, taking the short staircase and heading into the bar without knocking.
She stopped inside for a moment. Telma stood behind the bar like always, Louise was curled up on top of some barrels, and the group was in the back circled around the table. Other than that the entire bar was mostly empty. Except for some man dressed in green.
"Rosa!" Telma waved her hand, a smile on her face motioning her to come over. It looked like the green man was talking to her before she came in. "Rosa, this is Link. Link, this is Rosa." The introductions were made, Rosa just nodded her head, furrowing her brow. "Rosa here has been my errand girl for several days now. She wants to help out in any way she can. I was wondering if you could make use of her Link?"
Tilting her head, Rosa looked confused, glancing at Telma. "Miss Telma -- This is Link?" She asked, Telma had been talking about this man for awhile. Sending him a letter to come here, she had not stopped talking about her 'hero' that helped her out. She knew that this man was the reason that Telma wanted her to come down today now. She had planned this.
