A Battle Royale Styled RP
Seeing if anyone is interested. This is an rp from an old forum I was a part of that was very popular. If you've ever seen Battle Royal you have a good idea what to expect. Calling it a semi-RPG might be a little better, as there are some turn based elements to it.
Everyone would be a student from a class selected to be part of the BR program. You can rp as yourself or a fictional character, so long as it's an "ordinary" person. There's no real limits here. I was a clumsy idiot in one. We had someone who had an imaginary friend, one who was a pacifist and refused to fight, one who looked to run a business during the game, etc. I would play the part of the teacher overlooking the whole operation. Here's the basic idea.
"You're all trapped on an island. You're all wearing collars that act as tracking devices. You're all given a map, a small amount of provisions, and a random weapon.
If you attempt to leave the island, the collar explodes. If you tamper with the collar, it explodes. You have 3 days to become the last man standing. If nobody is killed within any 24 hour time period, all collars explode. If there is more than one person remaining at the end of the three days, all collars explode. Announcements are made every 6 hours listing off the newly deceased. Every 4 hours, announcements are made identifying certain areas of the islands that are "hot spots." You will have 30 minutes from the time of the announcement to leave the area. After that time, collars are detonated if you are in the "hot spot."
Now, knowing the rules, you are free to do whatever you want. You can kill or not kill as much as you would like. You can kill everybody, only kill people you don't like, hide and await death, find your friends and try to figure something out, etc. Endless possibilities as to what you can do in those three days. "
While movement and other things are turned based on the map, all confrontations are role-played. Outside of that, you can rp as much as you like even if you can only move once a turn. If there's enough interest, I'll give you a better list of rules and such so that you know how things go down.
