The International College for the Elite Soldiers of the World (OOC)
Everyone is in the technology center. The dean is about to give a speech. He stands up on the stage and proceeds to the center, where the microphone is at. "Mike test mike test" he says. "Ahem... Greetings new students of the College. My name is John Casper, I am your dean."
"As you all probably know, this college was built because of the emergence of Domirorism. We are all devoted to extinguishing the vermin." he says. "I'll keep this speech short. Right now we received a terrorist threat under Derrick. And we need to train you, all of you, as soon as we can to stop him." His speech then went on and on for a total of ten minutes, and then he dismisses the crowd. It's night time. Viktoricus plans on eating dinner and then going to sleep in his dorm.
Jane had been listening the speech, though not really caring for... but instead making a notice that if this really was supposed to be some kind of cadet school to defeat such major threats to the world peace as Domirorists, they should of probably made the school at least four times bigger. This type of wars weren't won with numbers of hundreds, but tens of thousands, especially since the education takes as long as it does these days.
But of course the chump didn't even bother to ask if anyone had any questions, or otherwise Janes hand would of been among the first. Right now this felt basically just like back in prison, exception of the food quality. Still, she was more than pissed about the fact her life was thrown away because of this. Jane slowly stood up from her chair, not sure were they supposed to just go sleep right now, or did they have chance to go and check the place... her brains just couldn't understand all this secrecy and lack of information.
Jane went along with the masses, checking her room. C238... even if it was the top floor, she decided to take on the stairs to get some space around her. The feeling of extreme frustration started to hit by the time of the top floor, Jane feeling like wanting to start kicking things over by the time she finally got into the room. Inside there was a desk, a closet, table lamp and the bed... and to Stephanies relief, there was only one which meant no roommates to share this already small space with. Starting to lay her personal stuff to drawers, she then just sat on the side of the bed, leaning forward a bit and sighing deeply... and just one month ago things were looking so perfect.
Max sat and listened to the dean's speech, but he still felt his mind wander. He marveled at how expensive this school must have been. Hell, if you took all of the tech equipment in this room, you could feed and supply an army for months. How on hell did I get roped into this? he thought to himself. A year ago, he was muddy and lugged around an FN FAL. Now he was in a uniform sitting in class. The uniform was cleaned and pressed for god's sake! When the dean finished his speech and everyone filed out to their dorms, he didn't feel any better. Everyone had brought some luggage from home, but Max only brought two things with him. The first was a flask he took a swig from when he got inside. The second was a Tokarev TT-33 in a shoulder holster under his expensive coat.
It looked like the dorm was built for two, but there was no one there now. Max thought about mulling over one of the text books that the school had provided for him, but that would require work, so Max crashed on his bunk and let himself fall into a deep dreamless sleep.
ViKtoricus goes to the cafeteria where they were serving all sorts of stuff. He's been eating healthy lately, so right now, he's going for something unhealthy. He goes to the American Food section where they were serving Cheeseburgers, Deep Fried Chicken, and Corndogs. But then he changed his mind. "I think I'm having pizza." he says, so he goes to the Italian section where he went and got himself a slice.
After the meal, he had a soda. This time, it wasn't diet soda. It was sugar loaded. This will probably affect his sleeping patterns. And tomorrow is the first day of class... He then proceeds to his dorm room and watches TV.
((Skipping to morning time... It's now morning. :) ))
Evvie let out a yawn as the introductory speech dragged on. She'd heard things like this before, and it was funny because they all had the same thing in common: she didn't care.
She was only paying attention to getting her bearings. She studied the people around her. Counted how many were nervous, bored, and excited. It seemed like a good mixture. She'd figure out who to befriend later, maybe at some meal time.
After everything was over, she found her dorm. After taking a few hours to arrange things the way she wanted them, she fell asleep. To say she was paranoid was an understatement, but it wasn't like she a roommate to deal with. She didn't know if she could handle that.
In the morning, she awoke to the quiet sound of her alarm clock. Looking out the window, she figured that it was an average day, but she felt like she was in a prison. She didn't have much of a choice of being there. She assume that none of them did. There was no use dwelling on that however, so she got herself ready, and made her way outside. She knew she had classes to go to, but she wasn't sure if she was ready to start yet. She wanted to scope out the place, and learn it inside out.
The greatest enemy of Jane, the alarm clock sound in her cell phone rang on for a good minute, before Janes tired hand dropped under the sheets to the floor, looking for the phone and picking it up. Sliding it under the sheets, the rise and shine tune stopped, leaving into that anxious silence when she was supposed to get up. Looking at the clock Jane hoped she had accudentally made the alarm clock ring in middle of the night, but she wasn't so lucky.
It took her a good hour to get up and get properly fit. She had some slight trouble with the uniform she was putting on the first time, as she was expected to wear it from now on which made her just sigh deeply... skirts definitely weren't her thing. Not lifting her hair in anyhow to keep some low profile... well, as much low profile that a half bald girl with most of the bare parts of her body in the outfit showing some form of tattoo. Getting outside, she looked around before noticing a single other human in the otherwise empty hallway... guess she was still allowed to get some more sleep if others weren't even around yet.
"Looking for something?" Jane said to the girl with loud enough voice to be heard across the hallway of the room doors. It seemed that the other genders were more bunked in the lower floors while the others were on the higher. She didn't mind it, after all, it was quite clear from the whole spirit of the place that those one night stand were few and looked harshly down on by the authority.
Evvie turned as she heard someone yell out towards her. She gave a reserved smile and too a few steps closer. After looking the other girl over for a moment, she decided how to reply.
"Actually, I'm looking for everything. Nothing in particular, however." her voice was calculated, and seemed cool. Evvie didn't mean to come off this way, but until she felt other wise, she was assuming anyone in this place could be some sort of trap. "Are you off to class? I think that's what we're supposed to be doing right now..."
This place gave Evvie the creeps. Just because it was a military base didn't mean that they had to make it so official. Perhaps they could have made it welcoming, and not so much like a prison.
The first day of class starts. It is nearing 10:00 AM, the time when all class starts. It will happen at the second floor. Meanwhile, Mr. Ward just got done with his breakfast and went to his big classroom.
He's preparing for today's class, writing down whatever on the board. His subject specialty is Logistics. And today, he isn't messing around. After letting the students introduce themselves to each other, he shall begin the first lesson.
The clock hits 10:00 AM. Students are now in the classroom, though some are probably late. Some are eager to learn, some don't like the fact that Logistics will involve a lot of Math.
((Athinar, this is your class. :) ))
Michelangelo left his room on the second floor at precisely three minutes before ten, dressed in his uniform. Crisply walking down the hallway to his first class, he entered the room before most anyone would be there. Sitting down, he took a pen from his pocket and sat quietly at his desk. He was seated right in front of the door, so if anyone passed by, they could see him. Looking at his holographic watch, he saw that it was only one minute until everyone HAD to be in their classes. Watching the other cadets pour in, he smiled in the corner of his mouth. As always, he was early. He couldn't really hold it against them, though. They didn't spend two years as a counter-terror soldier in Southwest Asia. So it was somewhat expected for him to be better at military protocol than the rest of them.
Meanwhile, Jihl Nabaat, teacher of the Military Technology branch, Robotics, is making a few tweaks on her robot for today's class. The class won't be in the classroom. It will be in the technology center.

Students gather around the moving robots, dazzled. "Okay ladies and gentlemen, these are my cyborg cousins! Say hi to the people cyborgs!" The robots then reacted, waving their hands at the students.

Meanwhile, at Mr. Ward's class...
"Alright ladies and gentlemen! My name is John Ward, you may call me Mr. Ward. And my subject is Logistics. Now let me tell you about the role that our branch plays in the military...
We are the strategists of the military. We are the bosses, the one who deliver commands to the soldiers. They do the dirty work, we do the bidding. As a logistician, you are the one who will determine what to fight, when to fight, what to feed your soldiers, when to retreat, which units to deploy... (dramatic pause) So basically, you are the supreme strategist of the military... Now before we start, it's probably a good idea to introduce yourselves to each other. Do you have any questions?"
