Nuclear Winter (Interst Check)
[D20 Stats/Near Future/Post-Appocalyptic/Ice Age/Cybernetics/Genetic Modifications]
It was the year 2045 when the war happened. Or was it war? More like a dumb mistake on the part of people who had the power in their hands. The humanity was rising to the skies with it's technological advances, sometimes, literally above the said skies. Now, would it rise again, after the war that wiped out billions of people and forces the remaining ones to hide in the bunkers deep underground from dangerous radiation, extreme cold of nuclear winter (anomalously cold, in fact) and the yet to be discovered spawns of the last cataclysm?
Now it's the year 2050. A nice number, isn't it? Scientists expected lots to happen there. Mostly they were right. Genetic modifications allowed some degree of improved humans to appear, making some of them more hardened against the dangers of harsh enviroments. The space research was great too - the human expiditions, fully autonomous, were sent to the Mars and Venus. And what a great progress happened in applied cybernetics, specifically, limb replacements! People could install new eyes that were nearly better than their original, stronger arms that didn't lose the feelings...
Deep underground a group of people are hiding from the harsh enviroments of the post-nuclear land. A building that was supposed to act like a shelter from a metheorite (that was, in fact, too poorly prepared to survive the impact and this fact spawned a lot of conspiracy theories amongst the survivors), now acts like a fully autonomous nuclear shelter, with water filtered, energy generated and food created. Some people have even managed to figure out how to do low-scale mining to get the resources and start the industrial "revolution".
But now it's up to change. The sensors and radio recievers started picking up something strange. A group of volounteers is sent to investigate the strange readings...

=| Despite the nuclear war being the main plot point, the main enviromental danger will be the Nuclear Winter, not the radiation. |=
=| However, as a small spoiler: There will be some dangerous (and not so) mutants. |=
=| Unlike in most stat based games, this one won't have high amount of powers or level ups, and in general, the numbers are not the main point of the game. |=
=| The roleplay would feature different events, ranging from bunker expositions to above ground exploration, to sneaky stealth missions, small scaled conflicts and large wars and really nasty political conspiracies. And exploration of new lands of course! |=
=| The RP has no strictly defined plot (Players are the Plot!) and thus the stuff mentioned above may or may not happen depending on player actions. |=
