Name: Zayden "Zay" Jackson
Quote: "Only true power will win battles; pity is for the weak..."
Hometown: Pallet Town
Appearance: Zayden towers at 6'2'' and weighs in at approximately 165 lbs. Generally, he stylizes his dark, lightly azure tinted, hair in a faux hawk. He's quite fond of hoodies and so he won't usually bother using any gel resulting in unkempt hair. He's not overly muscular but is toned and defined in certain areas. He has deep-blue eyes and tan skin.
Personality: He's stubborn, power hungry and may seem selfish but he can also be gentle, empathetic and loyal. It's generally difficult if not impossible to manipulate Zayden (unless you're his father). He was trained in the art of battling since a very young age and was soon as ruthless at it as he was merciless. Despite his apparent destructive methods, he acknowledges his Pokemon as equals, keyword: his. If he captures a Pokemon and it results weak or below his standards, he will not hesitate to release it but in good terms. He absolutely despises losing and goes nuts when he gets his ass handed to him.
Outside of Pokemon, Zayden is gentle if you get to know him and once he establishes a relationship of mutual respect with you and you with him. He's truly empathetic although he won't express it. If he ever says anything to encourage anyone it simply means he likes that person quite a bit, not necessarily romantically but as a friend. Zayden is loyal to his Pokemon and loyal to the people that take the time to know him and can stand his attitude.
Biography: Zayden was born and raised in Pallet Town. His father, a highly competitive trainer that traveled several regions but gained the most notoriety in Kanto, is a former Team Rocket member; his mother is a Pokemon researcher currently working in the Pallet Town Laboratory. Zayden's father preached power to him since a very young age. He decided to set out for Unova in search of the highest levels of competition to prove himself to his father and to upkeep his father's reputation. It's rumored that he pretends to restore Team Rocket to it's former glory but that's just hearsay.
Distinct Features: Shiny
Personality: He's almost as serious as Zayden himself. Defintiely the strongest player in his team.
Species: Nidoran (M)
Personality: He's quite mischievous.
Personality: A hard hitter, Ender is quite brutish.
'Ah...you're angry. No? Ah...well, you will be.'
His friends call him 'Shade' due to his last name.
Seventeen years of age. (17)
Kanto. Pallet Town 4 Lyfe!
Mark is a boy of...about 5'9 in height. He has a very slim, lithe build due to eating safely, and his face is set perpetually into a frown. His skin is a pale white due to genetics, of course, and his eyes are a sort of charcoal grey. His hair is neat and tidy, sweeping into his eyes. Mark's normal attire could be regarded as sorta 'gothic' at first, but if you actually take the time to look at it you would see that it's not all-black.
He keeps a relatively long scarf tied around his neck, grey and black in color. It's very warm and it hides...surprises from his mother. After all, Mark is a growing young man. And, as for his other clothing, Mark wears a sleek Armani 'suit/jacket' with a grey long-sleeved shirt underneath, with dark black slacks and dress shoes to top off the look. Despite his formal-looking attire, it's all actually quite comfortable and efficient.
A quiet young man. Normally, in average circumstances, he's known to keep to himself and try to keep away from attention. He doesn't really care about others's views on his character, and takes pleasure in knowing that someone dislikes him for absolutely no reason other then ignorance. Mark is a very manipulative boy, and he takes great pleasure in watching other people get angry, and would rather sit back and watch strangers and enemies get into trouble rather then helping them. His parents slightly fixed his...'evil' attitude, but some of it is still there.
When he does decide to talk, it's usually to get something he really wants, or just to insult and belittle someone who decided to act idiotic or brutish. Or intellectual conversations. Those work too.
Quite the charmer...says no one at all. But...very...very convincing and clever. He's quite the intelligent and observant young man, though he tries not to let it show. Because of this, he's very introverted and tends to run potential 'friends' and 'acquaintances' away due to his dry and sarcastic humor. However, for the people who has the ability to ignore his witty remarks, Mark could be a very caring friend who could actually be nice from time to time.
He normally grins a very...sly smile when something amusing is happening, and he has a load of quips stored into his brain. His temper is quite reigned in, also.
Mark Shadesman was originally born in Pallet Town. His father was a Pokemon researcher that helped the Professor with his studies (That's how Mark got Deino), while his mother was a stay-at-home mom who forced Mark to study twenty-four/seven. Mark excelled in school due to his book smarts, but was pretty bad at the 'gym' parts. So, he focused on Pokemon. Turns out he actually loved 'em as much as everyone else. He took to studying Pokemon instead, and boy did he excel! His father named him a prodigy, though Mark was pretty sure that anyone more experienced then him could easily beat him in a match. So...he trained with his father and the other researchers, while also keeping his studies up. Both sides of the family was satisfied. After a while, he decided to travel; just to get the feel of it, and to meet new challenges. He's been doing it for a bit.
It has a scar on it's muzzle for some unknown reason.
Deino is a very sly Pokemon, similar to it's master. It taunts it's opponents with fanged grins while in battle. While not very battle-lusty, Deino would take to a challenge without any complaints, though she does tend to get a bit angry when forced to battle by over-zealous trainers and Pokemon.
It's feathers are a distinct purple color. It's not a shiny, however.
Basically the same as Houndour. Sly, and it taunts while fighting. Murk tends to stay perched onto Mark's shoulder without any regard to the pain it's talons may be causing.
Name: Maybelle Carter
Age: ((15-20)) 17
Quote: "Let's get ourselves some exercise!"
Hometown: Kanto, Celadon City
Her long purple hair is mostly pulled back in a ponytail, gray eyes. She is 5'3", pale and fairly skinny partially due to her jogging routines.
Personality: Cheerful and kind, Maybelle is a pretty happy person who tries to look on the bright side of things. She's not big on competition unless it's all in good fun and has more of an interest in helping lost or injured Pokemon than she is in battling or catching them. Though still searching for her future career in Pokemon, she's leaning on establishing a Pokemon rescue to shelter abandoned Pokemon or to become a researcher.
As a fairly outgoing person, Maybelle enjoys making friends and hanging out but she's just as happy going for a run or training her body in some fashion (typically with her Pokemon Growser beside her). Though she can be playful she is determined to finish a job when it needs to be done.
Biography: Her father is one of the co-managers of the Celadon Game Corner so she grew up without money troubles. Her mother died when she was a pre-teen and her father is still single. When it was time to get a first Pokemon she chose a Bulbasaur, but when she discovered she didn't want to aim for gym badges, she decided to stay in school a while longer. She released the Bulbasaur feeling she couldn't train it the way it deserved.
Feeling satisfied with school, she wanted to begin traveling but without a Pokemon was dangerous. Officer Jenny let her have a Growlithe that didn't seem to be doing well with his police training, thinking maybe he needed something else to motivate him. The two became friends and they've been traveling for a while now.
Personality: Quiet personality. He can be a bit lazy, grumpy, sarcastic and anti-social, but the gruff exterior barely hides his warmth and concern for others. He cares very much for Maybelle who gave him a chance. He enjoys food and the occasional frisbee toss. He gets seasick when traveling on boats.
Switched my Starter Pokemon. Gotta love Deino! :P
Glad we have three CSs up! Once they're all up we can start this.
Yay! :D I have work early in the morning but I can start a post after I get home in my evening.
Same as Celery. I have school in the morning but I can get on when I get back, which is around 3-4 PM.
Sounds good! We're still waiting on a couple players so no rush.
I'm working on my CS now but where do you get those little GIF's of the Pokemon from?
Well I opened one of Chaos Dragon's sprites in a new tab and found they came from http://sprites.pokecheck.org/ so that's where I got them. :)
