Their Only Identity(OOC)
The early 1900's was the beginning of an incredible era. A time where people with unique gifts and powers began to use them for good, and to fight crime and for justice... Decades passed and now there were people in suits and costumes in bustling cities, some good and some bad. They all had different powers and abilities. Fantasy was real for the people around the world... Until one day one man was sued for saving a man who didn't want to be rescued. Another for destroying city property in a gigantic fight. And soon enough the people of the world thought that they would be safer without super beings in their life. The government had to act and demand the Supers to hang up the mask, and assimilate into the "normal world."
It has been years since this incident, and most people have forgotten the super beings among us. The government put all supers and their families into hiding, kinda like a witness protection service. They are not to use their abilities, or to talk about them. They are supposed to live a normal life. New supers are born into it by super parents. No one can just have a random gene.
Some have coped with this life. They go to work, come home, watch TV, sleep, and repeat. Others didn't take it too easy, and tried to fight against... none has ever succeeded. And some dream about those days where they are needed. They have the urge to save anyone in trouble, but they are held back by the people of the world.
As a group of heroes try to get back at the government and the people for hiding them, the world is in need for those supers. The old ones, and the newer ones. Will you join to stop the villains, or will you join them?
1) You cannot have any power ever. Just keep it to two powers at most please

3) No instantly killing someone(if it comes to that haha)

Bio: I came into the superhero business a bit late. About the time I became a hero there were legends, and great heroes... but I managed to be one of the most memorable. I wasn't someone who was discriminated by the heroes of my time. I was one who put reputation aside and tried to help, and that got me a very good reputation, ironically. I have super strength, and the power to teleport. Put those together and you can get a lot of momentum and hits into cat burglars. When the people started to riot, my world turned upside down. My whole life I wanted to help, and protect these people, and now they are telling me to leave, or to get away, or just die... I was in my early twenties, and soon hung up the suit, and tried to find a real job. I spent the rest of my life being a gym coach... I helped with every sport there, and tried my best to make people become better at what they do... and occasionally I let my powers slip... There could be a person getting mugged, or a baby in a stroller in the middle of traffic... The government doesn't mind much... But i'm waiting by my phone, waiting for that call that they need us again.

May I reserve a spot? Also, before it's taken, which I know it will, can I have super agility/speed, and enhanced reflexes?
Joshua 'Josh' Anderson
He'd been called 'Razor' by some...
Joshua's a Super, but stopped being a hero for numerous reasons, money being one. Now, Joshua works at a local coffee cafe called the 'Black Goodness'. Yes...a terrible name for an equally terrible cafe...
Josh is a man of...about 6'2 in height. He has a very slim, lithe build due to eating safely and exercise, and his face is set perpetually into a frown. His skin is a pale white due to genetics, of course, and his eyes are a sort of charcoal grey. His hair is neat and tidy, sweeping into his eyes. Josh's normal attire could be regarded as sorta 'gothic' at first, but if you actually take the time to look at it you would see that it's not all-black.
He keeps a relatively long scarf tied around his neck, grey and black in color. It's very warm and it hides...surprises from his fellow workers. After all, Joshua is a growing young man.
And, as for his other clothing, Josh wears a sleek Armani 'suit/jacket' with a grey long-sleeved shirt underneath, with dark black slacks and dress shoes to top off the look. Despite his formal-looking attire, it's all actually quite comfortable and efficient.
For his costume: Something he customly-made himself. It's a sleek, tight-fitting 'sneaking' suit made for both running and taking hits. It's made of some sort of leather-ish padding, with a number Zero on the shoulder. The mask is made to commemorate the emotions Josh is feeling at that moment. For some reason, he's starting to wear this a lot more, while also doing crime a lot more. In public, at night...everywhere. Addiction, amiright?
Joshua grew up as the son of two parents; Mark and Sally Anderson. Those two were born super-humans and had the super-life all gigged up from the start. The two fought crime as a duo, and over-all they kicked ass. Helped other people, did community service, fought the bad guys. However, when the government decided to shut-off the super-heroes for no reason other then to appease the crowd, Mark and Sally snapped. They took their 4 year old son, whom was already showing intellect and speed beyond his age, into an orphanage before storming the nearest government base. Not too smart. They were killed, rather reluctantly, but now without taking care of a few officers. The government didn't know about Joshua, so he grew up as a healthy, if not sarcastic young man.
He moved out at the age of 13 with his adopted parents, but left their home at the age of 15. Due to a few personal problems. He managed to get a few side-jobs here and there, and eventually got his own apartment building. He knew about his powers; of course, he knew about them because his old parents told him about 'em. He trained in his spare time, though they didn't really need training. Kinda instinctive.
So at the age of 19, Joshua lives in a decent apartment building as a cafe cashier, while occasionally taking out muggers in dark alleys when he's coming home from work. Not very 'super', but it gets the job done. He knows about the government, and thinks of his parents as idiots for killing themselves for no reason. So, he wants to join as a super-hero like his parents, just because he's bored of city life.
He waits for the news, as the government most-likely knows about him by now due to their giant database. Hopefully it all works out...but too bad it didn't. Long story short, he got tired of waiting and turned towards the...villain side. Now, at random times, he goes out as 'Razor' and still random shit out of boredom. He works alone, and generally enjoys what he does. Sure, he may have made the wrong decision, but fighting policemen is really, really fun! He's a bit unhinged, eh? He's been doing it for 8 years now, and enjoys what he does. His experience with his weapon makes him quite capable with it, and he could be seen as a menace for some....'cause he actually kills people when he steals. Blasted thief!
He has a mother and father, whom were both Supers back in the day, but they passed away due to trying to 'rebel' against the government. His father had super-reflexes, while his mother had super-speed. As for friends? Well...nah.
Due to his mother and father's generics, Joshua has two abilities in which he uses to stop the occasional mugger or two. The first one is, obviously, super-speed. He can out-run a car. Yeah...doesn't seem too amazing, does it? Well, he hasn't really been testing his limits, but he's pretty sure that, if he tried, he could run around the whole world in only a few days. Not a proper estimation, but it gives you a brief outlook. He doesn't run this fast all the time. Most of the time he just uses enhanced agile/speed, to run faster then normal superhumans and humans. It also helps with his jumping power, and allows him to do amazing acrobatic feats.
The other power is....you've guessed it, super-reflexes! Now, this is something akin to the ol' 'Spidey-Sense'. Very, very close to it. When something bad is about to happen to him...let's say that a mad customer threw a cup of hot coffee at his head. He would know this ahead of time, and, using his speed, he could grab the cup by the handle while also getting a mop from the basement to wipe up the spill. It works with guns, too, but not overly-powerful. This allows him to block thrown objects/propelled objects with his weapon.
A quiet young man. Normally, in average circumstances, he's known to keep to himself and try to keep away from attention. He doesn't really care about others's views on his character, and takes pleasure in knowing that someone dislikes him for absolutely no reason other then ignorance. Josh is a very manipulative man, and he takes great pleasure in watching other people get angry, and would rather sit back and watch strangers and enemies get into trouble rather then helping them. Maturity slightly fixed his...'evil' attitude, but some of it is still there.
When he does decide to talk, it's usually to get something he really wants, or just to insult and belittle someone who decided to act idiotic or brutish. Or intellectual conversations. Those work too.
Quite the charmer...says no one at all. But...very...very convincing and clever. He's quite the intelligent and observant young man, though he tries not to let it show. Because of this, he's very introverted and tends to run potential 'friends' and 'acquaintances' away due to his dry and sarcastic humor. However, for the people who has the ability to ignore his witty remarks, Joshua could be a very caring friend who could actually be nice from time to time.
He normally grins a very...sly smile when something amusing is happening, and he has a load of quips stored into his brain. His temper is quite reigned in, also. Due to his love of poetry, don't be surprised if he insults you in a sort of insulty/poetic way. He's weird like that.
While not formally trained in the art of his Weapon, Razor is immensely skilled with it due to his informal practice and due to his technical knowledge and general skill in engineering. It's basically a katana, yet deals more like a 'lightsaber' while not being a lightsaber. The katana juts out of the black hilt whenever Razor wills it to, and the blade glows a light, electric-like blue. It has the qualities of steel.
Also, unknown to him, Josh is actually becoming a widely-known villain. He thought of himself as just a normal thief that kills people, but apparently he's becoming a villain known as 'Razor'. Attractive, right?
I like it! It's accepted!!!
Save me Necromancy and Shadow Manipulation please! And the pics of Naya Rivera :p
