Being born into a life of a test subject, he was experimented on with many female pheromones in an attempt to create the first male I.S. pilot. He knew nothing of life of the outside, tending every day to the odd procedures, cramped living quarters, and the call of the scientists. Little did he know that this project was going on for many years and he was the latest batch, the last one quickly dying off when they were injected a newly developed serum. A few years in, when it was his turn for treatment, he somehow managed to survive while every other child died. He didn’t really know the others, simply letting the event settle somewhere buried in his memory as he was quickly ordered to be placed in an I.S.
On the day of the “second testing phase”, the scientists gave a cheer as the machine moved under his control, ignoring the fact that he was almost killed in the process and sent news out their funders. Even with gaining the ability to pilot an I.S., being a male put a heavy strain on his body, tearing his skin while operating it. The child was then quickly picked up in secret by the United States for further training and research.
Growing up, the main offset of the testing was that he developed unusually female looking features, with his body being the only thing "somewhat-male." Spending years under a secret program, he was conditioned under the toughest agencies, the training practically abuse to the boy. This went on for years until he was able to ride without the strain, yet with a lacking performance compared to female pilots. As the years drew by, he'd only improve marginally, and with very little options left of training for their "weapon”, the U.S. government sent him off as a student to the I.S. Academy, hoping that he’ll be improving more at a specialized school.
