Two Unlikely Friends In The Midst Of An Apocalypse|DemonicSoulxSparklesonly (IC)
It was just under 4 years ago that something undeniably strange swept through London. Actually, it wasn't just London, nor was it only Britain, it was the world. Nobody knows what it was, mainly because at least 75% of the entire population, including top scientists, were no longer alive. Well, you could say that, but the truth was they were alive just not...like they were. The horrifying truth was that what most people passed as just an illness, turned out to be a deadly plague that turned all of it's victims into flesh eating, human hunting "Zombies."

Darius had just left the local supermarket after finding a rather large group of zombies in there, who he guessed were sheltering from the daylight. He had gone in there to look for food, he hadn't eaten in days. But as usual he was out of luck. Darius had noticed that the, what he liked to call, Flesh Dolls were following him and broke out into a sprint towards the main road.
Darius was trying to run as fast as he could, but he knew he had to pace himself. He had no idea how long this chase would go on for. Darius turned his head to see a zombie just under a meter away from him. The zombie looked like it was in it's teens before it got infected with the virus. I guess the younger they are, the fitter they are... he thought as from his quick glance round he could tell this zombie was the youngest there. That just makes things a whole lot harder for me. Darius picked up his pace now. He was running along the main road, hoping to find some sort of survivor camp. But all he could see was the empty street in front of him.
Normally, on a main road Darius would be hearing cars and birds and maybe even people. Instead all he heard was the shuffling and the endless moans from the undead flesh addicts behind him. Fuck off! He thought as he was beginning to grow tired. There has to be something round here..Some place to hide..People..Civilization..anything?! Darius turned back round to see that he hadn't got any further in front of the young zombie behind him, in fact he even looked as if he'd got closer. "SOME HELP WOULD BE NICE?!" Darius shouted as he turned a corner, still dragging his feet along the hard pavement.
