Lyle glanced down at the pizza flyer and then looked back up at the building he was in front of. All day during school he had been psyched to get a free slice of pizza. The last time he had actually eaten out was...well he wasn't so sure he could remember but he did remember some sort of ice cream shop. His parents weren't the richest kids on the block and he did have a whole bunch of siblings that needed more attention. Still, he finally had this one thing to himself, since it was just for the high school students. He wondered who'd be dumb enough to drop a flyer like this on the ground. He had tried to ask Leslie to come with ("Hey sexy.", He winked. "How about you and me share a slice of pizza?") but she gave him a cold stare...Women.
This couldn't be the right place though...He was standing right in front of an abandoned warehouse, with metal strewn in odd places and barbed wire wrapping around the back. His orange hair glistened in the sunlight while a harsh wind blew across his face. He shivered a bit. This leather jacket didn't keep him warm in the slightest... Looking off into the distance, all the rest of the houses around here seemed oddly placed too. He looked back over at the street sign and it confirmed that he had indeed made it to the right place. He should have known...it was way too good to be true.
He breathed a heavy sigh, and went to go back onto the curb where his bike was in effort to leave but when he reached out to grab it, he bumped his hand...Hard.
"Ow! What the fuck?",he furrowed his brow and tried again somewhat slower this time, but it was to no avail. It was if there were an invisible barrier between him and the curb now. He blinked, not sure if he was going insane. He pressed his palm against the invisible wall, and then pushed but it was no use. Panic started to ensue, but luckily enough for him he saw some guy walking across the street. "Hey! Help me!! Please!"He screeched but the man kept on walking as if he heard and saw nothing. Lyle's eyes widened as he now pressed his face against the wall, whimpering. "Help M-"
As if on cue, every window to the abandoned warehouse were thrown open, a foreboding warning but one that seemed as if it were calling him nonetheless. Slowly, he turned around to check if that didn't just happen and to his despair it did. He dropped to his knees. "No...no...I'm not going in there."He looked up at the sky as if pleading with god and folded his hands. "If you do exist God, I'm sorry okay? I repent!"He whimpered. Then a not so brilliant thought came to his mind. Wait a minute...what if this is all a prank and I'm on 'Are you Scared' or some kind of reality prank show. Quickly, he straightened up and acted as of the whole thing didn't happen.
Yeah you guys didn't scare me. I'm brave, I'm cool., He said with a false bravado. He walked towards the empty warehouse and slipped through a window. "Where's the camera guys?", He called out. "I know what this is!", He yelled out as he ran into the middle. The place was empty though, there was absolutely nothing but broken shards. Looking down at them for a moment...they actually looked melted
Where did that nose come from?
He whipped around. A cute spanish waterdog was there now. "Hey...where'd you come from little guy?"Lyle said trying to keep it together. He walked over to pick the dog up when something SCARY happened. Unless this was all a dream, that small dog started morphing and doubling in size...and heads. It went from the size a purse to the size of a desk to the size of Lyle's small house...now with three ravenous heads. It growled something furious wind blowing Lyle's hair all the way back and drool hitting his clothes. Instinctively he covered his face and turned to run to find somewhere to hide but besides a couple pillars...he was screwed. He covered his ears and and put all his weight against a pillar. Please let this be a dream or a really bad trip, kept replaying through his mind.
