Noob Skyrim RP Alert.
Hello there! As you may or may not have noticed...I am Whispers. I don't really have much to say, as I find talking about random shit really hard to do, so I'll just get on with the point. Now, I am very addicted to Skyrim.
The open world, the dungeons, the enemies, the free-reign, the....EVERYTHING. Some people hate it, some people, like me, loves it. The thing is: Most of the Skyrim RPs here are usually in the middle of the story-line, or something of that effect. So, I propose a small, generic, and blank idea: A Skyrim RP where we are prisoners.
Basically. Ya' know, the cart where you start off in when you began playing Skyrim. Yes, we are all in that cart. I plan on it being sort of free-roam after we escape Helgen. No idea on how to do that, either. We can go through the main storyline if you guys wish, but yet again, I do not know how to implement Ulfric Stormcloak into the RP. I plan on this to be a relatively small group of people, maybe 5 or 6, so Ulfric won't be able to fit his fatass on the prisoner cart with all 5 of us. How do we began the 'Stormcloak' rebellion, then?
Maybe Ulfric wasn't taken prisoner, and he's still out there somewhere, planning. We're all just a bunch of prisoners, down on our luck. We escape. There won't be a Dragonborn or an Alduin, so no worries about that. Somehow we'll need to escape without the help of a damned dragon. Then, after that, we can come up with our own story-line and plot idea. Maybe we can go to Whiterun and have some Ale? Maybe we could go become a team of bounty hunters? Bar brawls?! DRAGON SLAYING?!?! PROSTITUTIO-
I don't know. We'll figure this out when it all happens 'cause I'm confusing my self.
Anyways, basic plot-point: We're prisoners on the way to our execution. What do we do now? Escape. But how? If we do escape...what then? It's up to us to decide. Give me suggestions and all that jazz. Do you want us all to be Dovahkiins, even though that may not work? Will dragons still roam Skyrim even though there's no Dragon Born?
I'll need a few co-GM's if this takes off (('Cuz I'm a busy highschooler. Military studying, Marksmanship classes, Drill Team...fuck my life)).
Leave me suggestions on where to put this. Low Casual? High Casual? I know a lot of you are more Skryim-nerdy when compared to me, so don't be afraid to post hateful/critical comments, suggestions, and things of that nature. I'm a tough teenager.
In. Last free roam lasted a while, then died out. Already have a beautifully twisted character lined up I want to do. Though, probably won't be ble to play out what she does. Ah well, gonna have to get descriptive as shit with that bio. Or flashbacks. Those work too. Yeah. Flashbacks'll do what I want them to.
Hooooh, nice to see that we have another one in. Mind sharing her race? I was thinking of creating a Nord, then I thought: A mix of Nord and Orc?! A Monster! Yet....so beautiful at the same time! Dunmers are cool, too. I'll just see once we get more interested.
What do you think of a smaller group of players? Or should I expand the player-size a bit? If this were to be free-roam, which it should be, I don't want anyone to think that they have to stick to the group because of the small group of players.
Well, in the one I was in before, we had about fifteen people, split up into about three groups, and that lasted about a month or so (due to several people from each group leaving, the three that were with me all left at once), so it might be best to start with just a few people, then have others come in later on. If people start going inactive, however, pm them. If there is no response in, say, two days, say they left the group to do something and if they come back they can return, so that it doesn't hold up everyone else. But yeah, starting off with five or six people doesn't sound like a bad idea, but if it's to be free roam, eventually more people will need to be brought in so it isn't just everyone off on their own the entire time.

Also, will probably either be a Nord or Imperial. Either way, great dislike of the Stormcloaks shall be had.
Yeah, that's what I thought. 5 or 6 people starting off, just so we can escape Helgen. May throw in a few surprises like giants suddenly crashing in and battling the jailors while we escape in the confusion ((Most likely not, but it'd be a pleasant surprise!)). After that, I'll allow others to join so that it goes into free-roam. People can make up their own plot-lines as long as they pass it by the GM's, and stuff like that. But, from what I've seen, the Imperials would be the best to side with...though my character may just help whichever gives him the most gold. Or not. If there's no gold involved he'll just go with the side that seems to be winning. Or he won't join at all. No idea yet.
I'll make the character sheet in class tomorrow. Hopefully this kicks off. Peace out ladies and gents!
Hm. One possibility is that the Stormcloaks attack Helgen for some obscure reason. Considering Tulius was there in-game, I assume he will be here, and so that could be why they decided to. Also is a pretty large town, even has its own walls, plus it supports the Empire, so there are three reasons why the Stormcloaks could attack. Giants are also good. Maybe someone from Helgen killed a mammoth, and a tribe/clan/family of giants attacks for revenge. Hell, Dark Brotherhood could show up with mercenaries to kill Tulius, and a large battle ensues in which we take the opportunity to get the hell out of there. Or even insane mages from a nearby dungeon could run in lobbing fireballs and ice spikes at everything that moves. Just some suggestions.
How about ALL of that?
Ha Ha, just joking. But, yes, I like the idea of a Stormcloak invasion on Helgen. It'd make sense, with General Tulius being the commander of the Imperial Legion. Climbing over the walls, volleys of arrows flying through the air, large, hairy men with axes charging from absolutely no where. Pandemonium. The exact thing the prisoners would need to escape. I might go with that idea, actually. Thanks for that.
Ah, this is officially closed. We have our characters.
