Hello all! My name is chariot and I just created an account here.
This is my first time actually rping in a forum, but I have rped for about seven years (give or take) now! I hope I can find some awesome threads and new writers to create awesome worlds with.
I am a very big fan of 1x1, multi-paragraph writing. I'm a big fan of medieval settings with romance, but also modern action settings.
I hope I can push my limits and get better at creative writing while also getting to know some new people! Cheers!
Hello Chariot. How are you doing?
I'm awesome thanks for asking! Looking for some rps to join and stuff. How are you?
I'm well. I just ate a whole bunch of clementines. What kinds of worlds do you enjoy role-playing in?
I'm a pretty big fan of medieval settings, fantasy stuff with magic and princesses and all that good stuff. I can also dig modern settings but I'm usually playing some kind of business person.
Though I'm craving some more fantasy stuff right now!
I enjoy fantasy as well, because you get a lot of freedom to do what you want. In more modern settings, there are a lot of rules. What kind of characters do you like to play?
I usually enjoy playing female crossdressing as males in the fantasy setting. I can play roles from peasants to princess. I prefer playing the role of servant. I have no trouble playing males though, the crossdressing roles are just a sort of preference since I feel like in fantasy/medieval settings bending the gender roles a bit more fun! I also usually prefer fxf, but can handle any sort of pairing. I would prefer to play the male in a mxf story though.
How about you?
I was banned from the Mizahar website because I tried to play as a male to female transgender character. I prefer playing males most of the time. I almost always go towards MxM or FxF if I'm playing a female. An odd quirk with me is that when I play a female, they are almost always a villain or will become one. I don't know why.
I enjoy playing villains in general. They are fun to play. I enjoy three dimensional characters that are not strictly aligned to good or evil. A lot of my characters represent some part of myself. I believe its inevitable that some parts of our personality will be put into characters that we write.
What?? Banned for just that? Good riddance to that site full of bigots. Hopefully this site is much more open about that....
That's really interesting I usually make me decision on villains turning a new leaf or something like that.
I guess your characters having traits similar to you is the usual process since they might branch off certain feelings towards a situation? I'm a sucker for some romance too, usually between the unlikely like a servant/knightxroyalty. I really like threads that force the royal to leave the palace and explore the outside world. I usually never play Mage/magic type characters and usually stick to warriors, maybe it's cause I don't think I'd play a wise character too well. Well if I do, they'll be terrible at magic.
This website is very open. Needless to say, I stopped visiting the Mizahar website. I like romance as well. The problem is that I have difficulty finding anybody who would do a MxM pairing. When I play magic type characters, people usually accuse me of being OP, so I rarely do. One time I made a character who's only magical power was talking to animals but I was still accused of being OP. You should be careful of that.
