The sun was shining. The day seemed beautiful. People flooded the park all enjoying their relaxing day at Deadman Wonderland. All the while they had no idea. Below them hidden underground were many inmates known as Deadmen. They didn't get the pleasure of being up on the surface enjoying the sun. Of course, the inmates that did were either working or possibly dying in one of the sick sideshows. But of course, nobody really knew. Nobody knew that when somebody died in the shows or were mortally wounded it was REAL. The idiotic audience never gave it a second thought.
Yuuji Inuzuka one of the newest inmates at DW was sitting in the shade taking a rest after helping move lumber and pipes and things in an area still under construction and not accessible to the public. "I... I hate it here." Even on break he was pretty much hiding. If certain inmates found him he could be in trouble. He could be beaten. Maybe even killed. Of course, maybe it wouldn't be such a bad thing.
Meanwhile, down below in his room rested Sora Inuzuka. He couldn't shake his worry. What if his little brother was hurt or worse. At first his worry had been that the runt would be sent to Sector G, but now it didn't seem so bad. At least if he were down below he could keep a better eye on him. "Maybe I can get someone to force him down here." He thought allowed as he walked down the hallways of Sector G heading to get some food.
Jeremy shivered as his bare skin touched the metal floor of Sector G. He stepped out into the hallway just outside his room, seeing a few people walking about in the dim lit hallways. He stuffed his hands in his jean pockets as he stood in his doorway, watching all the other deadman inmates wander about. "I guess I should start my routine.." Jeremy whispered as he sighed. Jeremy has been here for nearly two years, and he still can't get used to the atmosphere of the place. The metal walls the close around you, the strange people the walk around, not to mention that at any given time you could be selected to participate in .... that "Game". Jeremy walked down the hallway till he came up to the work out room. He took a peek inside to make sure no one was there, like always.
Skylar watched as people passed by the room of her door. She was curled up on her bed, the dress she had changed into after the police found her spread out like petals around her. Her long white hair tumbled down past her waist, slightly tangled. Her cerulean eyes glowed slightly in the lighting as she stared forward. Her brain was still trying to process what had happened but she was still in shock. Only when her stomach growled did she break from her trance. She slowly climbed off the bed and padded out of her room. Not knowing where to go she wandered around in hopes of finding a cafeteria of sort.
((EDIT: Thank Drakon.
P.S.~Currently writing a post in this space.))
As Sora walked down the hall he continued to think. "Maybe I can get him exposed. Sure it's Dangerous, but knowing him he probably feels like dying now. And since the news of Deadmen isn't known he might think I'm dead or something and not her." He was speaking to himself trying to figure out how to get Yuuji into Sector G without getting him hurt or putting his life into any real danger. If he was down here he could help him. To an extent.
As he walked he saw Skylar. "Hey Skylar. Going to get something to eat?" He asked calmly. Maybe... No... Somebody older would be best for the job. "I can treat you to some ramen with my winnings from last nights match if you want." He offered the young girl. He was like this with everyone. He felt it best to try and keep a good spirit and just live since he was pretty much stuck here.
Skylar jumped slightly in surprise and turned to face Sora, regarding him with expressionless blue eyes. She was internally freaking out, wanting to know how he knew her name but then she remembered he had been in this place for a long time and so he probably knew all of the newcomers names. "I don't eat ramen." She said in an emotionless voice, walls firmly in place.

"But if not me I'm sure somebody will help you out if you need it. Just be careful. It's more dangerous in here than it is just about anywhere else in the prison." With that Sora waited for a moment to hear whether she wanted help or not. If not he'd leave her be. If she did want help he'd show her around. Simple as that. No more no less. Of course, he did need to find somebody to help him with his little plan to get his brother exposed as a deadman.
Rei was walking through G-sector to get upstairs to the construction site, before walking through the halls she was in the camera room, she caught a glimpse of a prisoner just taking a break on his own terms, so she decided to teach him a lesson, while walking through the halls, she saw Sora, Rei stopped suddenly and looked over to him from over her shoulder." Don't try to act friendly, you may have to kill her later." Rei said before she started walking, she gotten onto an elevator and went up to the levels that were under construction.
Rei soon found Yuuji, in his little hiding spot, in the shade, Rei walked over to Yuuji and sat down next to him," So just taking a little break ? Trying to catch your second wind in the shade ? You know it's a damn good day to die right ? Rei said to Yuuji knowing he would catch to what she was getting to, a group of several heavy set guards with batons appeared from almost nowhere surrounding Yuuji and Rei. " So before you get taught a lesson about taking a break on your own time, I must ask you a question, how would you like these guards here to kill you today ? Do you want your legs broken before death or your head crushed first ? " Rei asked him.
"Huh? What?" Yuuji was scared the second she brought up dying. And when the guards came he only got scared. "But... Um... I was told this was the time that I was supposed to have a break." He was telling the truth. Just by some other prisoners. Maybe they'd been playing some cruel joke. God he hated it here. "Um... Was... Was I told wrong? I just hid because so many inmates try to... Wait... Aren't you an inmate too?" He was confused. She didn't look like an inmate, but she didn't look like staff either. And what was with this situation. What the hell had he done wrong to deserve this? "Please don't kill me. I won't do anything like this again I swear." He tried to plead with her while glancing at the guard.
"You should have known that in Deadman wonderland. You work as long as we tell you to work, and stop when the warden wants you to, and okay then, since you wasted your time pleading for mercy, I'll choose how you will die, you will be beaten to death like a like the small bitch you are. Kill him and make it look like prisoners got to him before we could." Rei said, she stood a moderate distance away while the guards closed in on Yuuji. Two of the guards grabbed him and held him down, the others put their batons to use and started to beat Yuuji, the gave him blows all over his body with their metal batons.
"Wait no... Please... I..." Before Yuuji could finish his plea he was held down and was already being beaten. As he grunted and groaned in pain with each strike he could help, but think about his life. What kind of bad luck did he have that made his life suck so much. It was pretty fucked up. An abusive father, the loss of his brother who had only tried to save him. Then he got framed and sent to prison and now this. What the fuck did he do to deserve everything he was dealt. "I never... Ah... Asked for... Oof... This..." He spoke in between yelps of pain. Pretty soon he was covered in bruises. Possible internal bleeding and he was coughing up blood. "Fuck... Please.... Stop..." He tried to plead as he was beaten and he coughed up more blood.
((Not enough blood spilt yet... Um... Cut him or something... Just not too severe.))
