Be my Black Butler.
This is a 1x1 between TheLastRunaway & Pyroman
Young Avelia is lost in despair of the disappearance and murder of her parents. They owned the clothing factory Desnia that only sold clothes to those who could afford the expensive quality making her household rather rich. She also would be the Queen's guard dog since she was the air to the household. She finds herself deep in to a forest calling out to the most dangerous and critical last move to plot her revenge.. Selling her soul to a demon..
Within a moments notice, Avelia was encased in infinite white, a void of white nothingness and a lack of noise that would drive people insane. Slowly, A monstrous black snake formed a coil around the young woman, and a soft "Hissss.." coming from the being. As it stopped winding around her, It faced her; looking into her eyes deeply and seeing everything that went on in her mind. The pitch black scales on the snake seemed to shine in an explainable way as it stood still. "Making a pact with a Demon, what humans would do to get what they want in desperate times... So what is it for you, Human? Why are you coming to me?" He asked in a smooth and quiet tone, his serpentine body motionless as his voice was heard.
Avelia stayed perfectly still and silent as she felt the slithering of the enormous snake bound her in captivity. She was terrified, but determined to get revenge on her parent's murders. The face finally faced her, making her body shiver silently as his eye pierced in to hers, a sick feeling in her stomach made her head seem light. She took a deep breath, trying to find it inside of her to speak to such a creature. She was facing a demon, something not many people wanted to cross paths with and here she was desiring to to the up most thing just for slight revenge.
Her fists clenched, no. This was not just some revenge. Her parents were her world, every thing she ever needed was through them. Love, discipline, shelter. She lost it all umongst the ignorance of jealousy or just plain entertainment. She wanted this person to have the same faith as her poor parents, or maybe even a bit more sinister.
She finally was able to blink her way to what has become her reality. "Someone murdered my family.. I want revenge.." The end felt more confidently than the beginning. "I'm willing to sell my soul if you will help me find this person, and murder them... That is why I called you.." She was a lot more terrified than her voice pretended to be. She kept her eyes locked with the demons waiting for his reply.
"Hmm.." Though he was pushed into thought about the contract, he wasn't going to pass up the opportunity to devour a human soul. If he were to deny her of the contract, another demon might accept her contract, or even worse a Reaper. He had no real problems with the Reapers, as they were good at what they did. The only reason he didn't want the reapers to get to her first was because then they would take the soul, and do whatever with it they please. He was losing himself in thought, and needed to focus.
"I will accept your contract, and it seems you know the consequence, so I have need not to explain it to you." He spoke in the same tone and manor as he did before, and could easily tell that the woman was feeling sheer terror in his Snake-Like presence. He passed it off as just another human emotion, as there were plenty more terrifying demons out there, and he wasn't the worst of them. The mouth of the snake opened up as it slowly moved in front of Avelia. it's pink tongue appeared brighter than usual due to the pitch black scales of the snake, the Ivory fangs were the size of tall men. The tongue moved forward slowly, but changed it's shape at the end to form what appeared to be a human man in about his early to mid-twenties.
Looking up and down the body of the woman, the Man that formed the tongue spoke in the exact same way and tone as the snake did, implying that they were the same being, but in a different form. The wire frame glasses rested gently at the edge of his nose as his eyes continuously studied the girl. "Now where will your mark be located? So I can find you if I am not at your side, and so that you cannot run away."
Her face stunned by the forming of the snake made her stomach turn, it wasn't an amazing sight to see the tongue of a snake take such a human form no matter how tasteful the human came out to be, yet she was unable to take her eyes off him. He didn't seem sure about the deal, but Avelia knew one thing that he would want and that was her soul. That would be their only binding to one another.
She looked back at him as he asked her where should her marking be, yet she was unsure. Wasn't that him to choose? She thought carefully, not wanting to put it anywhere someone might see it. She looked down at her body, and then began to pull her dress up from her side. Looking back up at him the thigh above her stockings became visible as she gave him a questionable look for the marking to be placed there. She then wondered if the marking would burn once placed, and how was it supposed to keep her from running away? He was a demon, there was no need to question how he would find her, the problem was not pissing him off by running away. Even though he would practically become her slave, she was the one chained by him.
He could tell be the way that she looked at her curiously hat was the area she wanted her mark. People always seemed to want their marks in places that no one would notice them, but he couldn't blame them as the marks would bring some question to people. Nodding slowly, he moved forward slowly until he was directly in front of Avelia. His eyes scanned her body until he looked at her upper thigh. He had no problem with being there, and slowly put his bare hand on her upper thigh, looking at her with a pale, blank, and emotionless face. His wire frame glasses hung slightly lower than usual, and pushed them back up his face with his free hand.
In and instant, the mark was placed on Avelia. From past experiences, he was told that the process of putting a mark on was more than painful, despite lasting only a few seconds. the feeling of pain seemed to variate from human to human, but they all felt some sort of piercing burn on their skin. As the mark placement was finished, The mark was placed on the hand he used to place the mark on her, his right hand.
He slowly moved his hand off of her upper thigh and stood tall in front of his new contract. A sinister smile came upon his face as he looked into her eyes once more. "Well, that wasn't all that bad, now was it?" He was simply humoring himself, as he knew little to nothing about actual, lasting pain. Raising his right hand, the mark was the same pitch black that was on the scales of the giant snake. "Well, the contract is made. If I am going to be serving you, I am going to need a human name. the one I use now will not fit well in your world.."
As he came closer to her, she was more resistant about the situation. Was she sure she wanted to do this? Yes. It had to be done, she had no other reasons to live so why not go out with a bang, and the relief of her parent's criminal to be brutally murdered, maybe he would take his soul along with mine. He then came closer glancing down at the bare thigh which made her cheeks turn pink, and her head turn away. He was so close to her, she could finally smell his scent it was intoxicating yet in a terrifying way. As his hand laid against her thigh she turned away to try to hide the red hue on her face.
She screamed out as the incinerating pain began to penetrate inside of her leg spreading like a wild fire reaching the top of her spine. The pain threw her off balance to the point where she had fallen in to the demon for support until the pain resided. Opening her eyes once again, the demon had a wicked smile on his face while he lifted his hand to prove to me that the deal was made. She looked down to her thigh to see the print and was ready to cry. It was done, her soul was sold.
His voice brought her attention back to him. He needed a name? Was she the one to give it to him. She stared at him confused on what he meant for her to do. She wouldn't know of one to give to him. He was exotic looking which only meant an exotic name could fit him. It would be insulting to give him such as a one syllable of a name that didn't declare his sophistication. Vincent? No. Rafael? That would be too much wouldn't it. Her head became fuzzed with the immediate overwhelming feeling of having to choose a name for such a creature. "I.. don't know what your name should be.." She said rather nervously, scanning his eyes to see whether that would anger him or not. It would take so much time for her to be able to understand and get long with the demon. Who knew how long it would take for them to bond and how long they would be stuck together.
A slight glare came from his face as she didn't have a name for him. He wasn't bothered all that much, as he was clearly able to see the confusion on her face, but a name would be required for him. If one could not be decided now, then it would have to be decided later. "Whatever the case, the deal is made and your soul is mine. We should be returning to the human world if you would like your parents avenged.." As he spoke, the tail of the Snake began to dissolve, and slowly the rest of it. the body of the snake disappeared into the white void, leaving only the front of the head and the tongue that connected himself to the Serpent. Like the rest of the snake, the head disappeared as well, and the tongue formed as his legs.
Overall, he had a tall and thin stature, which was complimented by the black suit he wore. It wasn't the same Pitch Black the the snake from seemed to be, but it was very dark and black even in this whiteness of the void. mere seconds passed before the White began to dissolve, returning them to the human world in the exact same spot that Avelia was in. They were chained together now, by the binding of a single human soul. He looked at his Contract for a brief moment before looking around the forest carefully. "Now, where are we going? It would seem disappointing if you lived here.."
He seemed annoyed once again with her answers. She then searched her mind again. "Zanvier... Zanvier will be your name." This was the first kind of demand she had given him which now that she recalls would be one of many she would give to him. She would have to stop fearing him if she was going to be in control. She knew of a boy who was to say he had a demon butler, she never understood how you were to per say 'tame' such a creature. She would have to find out soon enough. She looked behind her to watch the serpent's tail begin to dissolve and work it's way all the way up to the head until a man appeared in a dark black suit.
Avelia's eyes didn't leave her new butler's until they were back to where she had called for the demon in the dark forest behind the mansion that made her home. She only had one butler, Stevens who wasn't really all in tuned due to his old age, leaving Avelia no one to take care of her and her withering home. She felt offended by the demon's comment on where she lived. "I'll have you know, my family own one of the largest clothing manufacturing business in all of London. No I do not live in a forest." Her words were sharp, forgetting that she needed to bite her tongue. She looked towards Zanvier scared he might turn and strike her but she quickly scurried ahead of him and began to walk back towards the enormous house.
Zanvier? To him, he didn't care all that much about the name, he felt indifferent towards it. Although he was required to care about the name as it was he was going to be answering to for at least some time. Some of the contracts were fairly simple, but others lasted a lifetime, Forcing him to become a patient man. He was okay for waiting until his contract was satisfied with the results before he would devour her soul. As he repeated the name in his head, Zaniver still didn't seem to carry any ring to it. But he was on her leash until her parents were avenged. It was her first command to him after all, so he had to give her something.
Hearing the sharp words from Avelia didn't award her with another glare, but a neutral stare. He easily caught up with her after she scurried ahead, but kept a few feet behind her for her sake. As they continued onward, he was starting to be able to see the enormous house more and more clearly. He was only teasing about her living in the woods, but it was both a joke and observation of the area. The forest was dark and the air was cool as they moved along, He kept his eyes open for any movement at all by moving only his eyes. He could see that no threats were in their area, but expected just as much.
