Coley hated seeing that smile on his face. Did he honestly think it was fun scaring innocent people like this? She’d never understand men like him. Coley waited for him to get inside before shutting the door. Her eyes stayed averted away so she didn’t make eye contact with any customers. Please just let this go smoothly, she thought to herself. Coley couldn’t help but notice the guy was being awfully polite for robbing a bank like this. She answered softly, “Yes.” Then she escorted him to the back, behind a wall where anyone could even see them.
Coley lead him to the vault. Now all she had to do was open it. It was late enough now that the overnight locks had shut off so that wouldn’t send any alarms off either. She put her hand up to the dial and started the combination. This was the time she really wished the bank would have been upgraded to the electronic keypad. Her nerves weren’t allowing her to spin the dial correctly so she kept messing up and having to start over. Of course the more that happened the more panicky she got.
