Race: Genie

Life Span: They are eternal unless the object in which they are linked to is destroyed. A Genie will stop aging once he reaches a certain age.

The origin of these creatures is enveloped in mystery and until today no one really knows where they come from. Once they acquire their powers, they become attached to some object to which they will be linked for eternity. This object becomes the residence of the Genie’s spirit and also its weakness. If the object is destroyed the genie will lose its immortality and all its powers and soon die. Also if this object falls into someone’s possession, this person becomes the Genie’s “Master” and can have 3 wishes come true.

Genies have a few set of rules that are supposed to be unbreakable and if any genie breaks one of these rules he shall be severely punished.
The rules are: A Genie can not prolong a person’s life in any way. Granting eternal life or asking for more wishes is forbidden. And finally a Genie can not use his power to kill a person regardless of the circumstances.

Regarding their appearance, when summoned from the object they occupy they take a human like form but from their waist down a smoke trail connect them to the object from which they were summoned and usually they have a small size under this situation. They can change the size of their body though and can take a fully human like form though they always tend to look somewhat exotic and very extravagant.

Race: Kemonomimi

Life Span: Depending on their type and how close to the original they are. Simple descendants of Kemonomimi have a life spawn similar to humans.

There is a great variety of Kemonomimi creatures that go from cats to dogs, wolfs, rabbits and even deer’s etc (do not confuse them with Anthros).
Kemonomimi are not a mix up of humans and animals and are not humanoid animals. They originate from some sort of animal who out lives its natural life spawn and through some mysterious event gains a human like form. The major visual difference between these creatures and Anthros is that Kemonomimi retain only the tails and ears from the animal from which they originated from though they do retain most of their animal like senses.

Kemonomimi can breed amongst their own regardless of what species they may belong to, in this cases the child will be born with the characteristics of whatever gene is stronger. They can also crossbreed with humans and in this cases there is a 50/50 chance of the child to be either human or a Kemonomimi. There is one fact though that remains the same regardless of what kind of pairing is chosen. The more distant the descendent is to the Original, the more similarities he will have to a common human. Animals that become Kemono creatures have an incredibly long life spawn so long as they lead a safe and healthy life. They also have the ability to shift back into their original animal form at will. But mere descendents forget the ability to turn into animals and their life spawn is greatly decreased. Eventually long distance descendants have only a life spawn similar to a human and aside from their sharper senses, tails and ears there is nothing much that can separate them from mere humans.
