Life span: Can live to be over three thousand years old.
Other info: An ancient race well known for their prowess in magic and intelligence, they are known to be secretive about their culture. They are very attached to nature and, because of this, are mostly vegetarian. They are known to supplement the growth of wildlife and vegetation with their magic imbued singing. Many a human has gone in search for these storied people and either come back empty handed or not at all. Mostly peaceful, they are fiercely loyal to their monarch and will fight to the death to protect him/her.
Their homeland, Arden, is heavily forested and protected by the elves. In it you can find animals and plants you wouldn't be able to find anywhere else. The land's occupants are very knowledgeable of the plant's uses, both medicinal and dietary, and take advantage of them.
Elves themselves tend to be on the tall side. It is not unknown for an adult to grow to the height of seven feet.
Adolescent elves are given vigorous training in everything from weaponry to herblore and magic.(If there is anything you need me to add, please tell me.)

Age: 36 years of age (young in there terms, Looks about 17)

Personality: Alyx is a shy, lonely guy who doesn't like interacting with people he doesn't know. He isnt quick in trusting others he usually is always suspicious, but when hes with someone he does trust he is friendly and kind. He is completely loyal to those who earn his trust, but if he sees anyone in trouble trusted or not he would do almost anything to protect them...
History: Alyx never knew his parents. His whole life he was raised by another of his kind who belived one day the world would come to a great war and that they would have to fight like all others. He trained Alyx day and night how to wield swords and magic. Both of them gained many scars from their training but bore them valiantly, but one day they were attacked by some unknown beings in the shadows. They killed his trainer who told him to run...but he didn't. He stayed and fought until he was struck from behind, he woke up a while later with 2 long scars on the left side of his face to show for the fight. Not knowing why he was still alive he decided he needed for the first time to leave his home and seek out somewhere else to complete his training, he avoided all civilization until he met a mysterious person who sold him something to hide what he was. Using this he quickly found out about the academy and thought this would be an almost perfect place to continue training and carry on his trainers will...

Other: While in human form his eyes are vertical orange, and his tail still shows but is hidden under the cloak he always wears...Also...He carry's with him a broken white amulet left behind from the things that killed his trainer...
