I always kept it simple with "whiny spoiled shits".
But I mostly agree with you.
Except that you're kind of saying it's the adult's fault for bringing them up that way.
...the reason why there are so many angst-ridden, emo-asshole, bitch-ass teenagers in the Western world.
We bring them up and feed them the bullshit that they can be anything they want to be as children.
And, well, considering so many factors today that turn them into sheep, they're incapable of any sort of big-picture, realistic independent thought.
And then, when they grow up to be teenagers, they find out, disappointed, that this is only mostly true.
Being true to the comfort-lined safe house that constitute most of their lives, anything they are not spoon-fed, they immediately want to acquire.
And, of course, lacking the preparation in any sort of way for the challenges, naturally, they fail.
Hence turning into bitch-ass, whiny teenagers. Maybe even adults. God knows.
Anyway, opinions?

Magic is my new obsession
It's not simply the adults'; the adults themselves are a product of the society they're in.
Basically, I'm saying there's something wrong with society. But, you get these kinds of threads everyday, anyhow, right?
Well, just to clarify: I'm not asking for debate, although I can see that happening, undoubtedly. I'm asking for opinions as to what people think might be wrong with society.
Personally, it's the entitlement mentality for me. ;D

The problems with society differ with each society, imo.
There are way too much to keep track, let alone discuss mixed opinions on it in a civilized manner.
Also, I'm siggying the second paragraph of the post you just made. Just sayin'.
Magic is my new obsession
I specifically meant Western society, since that's what I'm trying to attack here, as I mentioned in the OP. =P
Sweet, hehehe. Thanks, that makes me feel GOO--OOOD,

Oh, sorry, I read that and then forgot immediately after.
But I still stand by what I said, because Texas is different from Hawaii is different from New York is different from Wyoming. But I like you now for attacking the Western sides.
Magic is my new obsession
Pffffffffffffffffffffft.
Glad you like me, though.

I actually haven't seen many personal cases of angsty teenage assholes here. If there are any, they're really just a minority that I don't even have to complain about.
I think it's because almost 100 % of all children are right brained, and when the parents can't think of what to say, so they give the "you can be anyone" speech, which comes back to bite them. It'll even out next generation of Right-Brainers.
