No... Elitists come from all different places. Me personally, I came from Nexxus chat, at a time when they had Elitists all over the place. Another site they came from was a English/Japanese speaking community called Comicity, but unfortunately, it no longer exists. There were RPG communities in Japan for a long time when DBZ came out, before it was ever popular in the west. Things really didn't explode until the mid-90's, when the internet became much more accessible around the globe. Today, very few of the original sites still exist where Elitists adopted this culture. So you can either choose to take my word for it, that they did exist, or you can choose not to believe.
Either way, it's still not as important as the principles that are discussed in this article.

Iunno what Eladon's point is, but main point is that if you want people to focus on the good, it is beneficial for you to alter your presentation. Let me put it like this; you're like the guy that comes to tell bored high-school students about the dangers of HIV. To get them to listen to you it is your job to make your presentation appealing, interesting and something they can relate to. You're not doing that.
I'm telling you what is wrong in order for you to fix this and write a better article. To us you aren't a 'grandmaster', to us you are some random guy.
we have such sights to show you
Interesting analogy.
But you are completely missing my point. Many years ago, I was a young boy. Now I am a grown man who has reached adult-hood. Some day I will be an old man, if I'm lucky enough to survive that long. But eventually, some day I'm going to pass away. When that happens, nothing I've said here will matter. Nobody here will remember me. Nobody will know who I am. I will be forgotten, like everyone else. You will grow old, and you will be forgotten. All of this will fade away. Even the stories that get passed down will change, just like the ones that have been passed down to us over the years. Elitists have come and gone in the past, and they will continue to do so until there are no more left. I will be gone, you will gone, all of us will be gone.
But these principles... These principles do not change. They do not get old. They have as much to do with the future as they do with the past. They have just as much to do with today, right now. Social skills, writing skills, fighting skills, restraint, respect, honor, humility, common courtesy... These principles are far more important than me. They are more important than you. They are more important than some people realize. If only I could draw your attention, and make it appealing to you. Perhaps Kestrel is right, I need to work on my presentation.

Ah, now you have an answer. But you assume something that is incorrect. I am well aware of mortality, including yours and mine. I am well aware that principles remain, though they can also be lost to humans over time. i don't need you to try to tell me things thtas I have already known for years.
Whta you are missing, and what I am telling you, is that in the end,. 95% of the people here do not care. You won't convince them otherwise. Go find people who do care, and who can be made to care, instead of trying to convince those who don't and won't ever.
As useful and as positive as those principles are, the strong majority of humans no longer need to write them out and obey them constantly, nor do they wish to. We've moved beyond that stage.
Hm...
The fact that you leave a signature at the end of every longer(er) post you make just screams to me, "Elitist."
You are not an elitist, you're a screaming faggot who wanks on his verbiage to try and feel better than those who can't be fucked - or simply can't - write in the English language properly. Go off to Advanced and do what the rest of us do; play in advanced, quietly, with dignity.
