Did I get my stats right?
5,200 c-bills for the helmet and suit; since she's a clanner, she had access to that at base cost, at least starting out in clan space. From here on out, things are price-modified according to availability. These things are available at higher rates to the average IS warrior; I did that with the example and the DCMS Mechwarrior Combat suit; I raised the rate by 5,000 C-bills.

Did I get my stats right?
“Enemies of the Imperium, hear me. You have come here to die. The Immortal Emperor is with us and we are invincible. His soldiers will strike you down. His war machines will crush you under their treads. His mighty guns will bring the very sky crashing down upon you. You cannot win. The Emperor has given us his greatest weapon to wield. So make yourselves ready. We are the Imperial Guard, and your doom is upon you. "
Already taken care of.
As an aside for new players with no experience in BT, I'll be offering NPC characters for matches to sort of give you a feel for how it works. I'll be providing them both in light mechs, a Commando and a Valkyrie; two lights with very different roles and capabilities. The idea will be to give you a feel for different opponents and their weak points, for figuring out how to read the readout and know which tactic to use to put them on their backfoot. We'll also cover heat and sensors and other issues.
I'm not playing these guys to win, so it's a fairly guaranteed match; you get a little extra payola and a notch on experience...I'm doing this because there are some very experienced players of Battletech and Mechwarrior here. This offer isn't open to them, because they know the setting and the game, and I don't believe in 'easy meat.'
The whole point, of course, is to give you an introductory fight and an idea of how BT plays out. I'll have more on specific match rules, such as how many actions you can take per post and so forth, in a bit.
PS. It's entirely possible I'll get Omega to play the training dummies.![]()

I would have no problem playing training dummies, we could also throw in a Locust and an Urbie to really get people to learn how to read mechs.

From here on out, no more character sheets in here; post them over in this thread:
http://roleplayerguild.com/f46/solar...r-list-110134/
There's a simple reason for this; character sheets are easier to track on a thread solely dedicated to character sheets. If they go here, but not there, I am, from here on out, not approving them until they make the move. So yes, just please post character sheets there and don't make me dig through everyone's OOC to find the sheets.![]()

HeySeuss, could you send me a list of costs for equipment? I need to add up all the money before I do my stats.
Alright moving when it's done.

There are only four questions of value in life, Don Octavio. What is sacred? Of what is the spirit made? What is worth living for, and what is worth dying for? The answer to each is the same: only love.
I've flown across America, I've scaled fences, I've stood under windows and gone out of my way hundreds of times. I'm a hopeless romantic. There's no hope for me.

I am not sending you the entire price list; for one, I'd have to write it all out. You're going to have to ask for the price on the equipment or something. If equipment is holding your sheet back, you've got a major problem.

Well it's just...that mech costs more then the initial sum of C-Bills, so before I do my stats I have to know how much XP I will need to remove to cover the complete sum of Mech plus whatever equipment.
Fair enough Seuss, makes sense. I will list what I need.
Star League Era Cooling Suit, I figured he would of recovered it. So not sure if you want me to pay for it or since it was found in a tech cache to be free. Up to you.
Clan Neurohelmet and Stable Fees are about it.
I know how much my pistol and such will cost.

All equipment gets deducted, just like the mechs, no matter how the equipment was acquired. The money is a theoretical representation of the character's various resources and means of acquiring equipment; even if it was gifted to your character in the bio, it comes out of that money.
It's a fairness thing; everyone else follows the same set of rules.
The cooling suit would run something like 500 C-bills base cost x1.50 for rarity; 750 c-bills. It can be produced in the Inner Sphere, but it is still not easy to acquire outside of a house military. Clan tech, such as the neurohelmet, has a base value of 5,000 c-bills but the value is doubled owing to the rarity of clan tech outside of the inner sphere.
The pistol, assuming it's a regular slugthrower, is 50 C-Bills.
The maintenance fee on the mech depends on the weight class; that's listed up on top. That includes hangar space.

Alrighty, actually my pistol comes to 100 C-Bills.

Anyways...I think that's about it. The Star League suits were armored so I don't have to worry about that and they hooked into the cooling of the Mech', which allowed a much better system then any cooling vest.
So 10k for the helmet. Can do...alright that helps a great deal. Thanks Seuss. Can't think of much else...
