In the kingdom of Westeros, there is one organization, more than any, charged with keeping peace: The Nights Watch. Stationed along a 2000 mile long, 700 foot tall wall of ice made to keep the bad things in the forest in the forest, The Nights Watch is one of the Oldest and most respected Orginizations in Westeros. But recently, the Nights Watch has degenerated into a prison, where thieves, rapers and murderers go as a punishment. They are sworn to take no wife, and bear no child. The Nights watch is falling. And the others are coming. The Darkness is coming quickly...

Personality: Nice, good natured and adverse to hurting people, Arren did not wish to join the military because of the fighting. He is quick to trust people.
Reason For Taking the black: Arren joined the Nights Watch because he wanted to join the military with minimal fighting. Do to war brewing, he decided to take the black.

THE KINGSROAD- DUSK

Arren Flower rode north. His back ached, and his sweaty hair clung to his face. He hated this, but it would all be worth it. Especially tonight. Tonight, all the free and willing recruits were invited to a bordello, where they would take their manhood either for the first time or the last before taking the oath. A man, Yorren rode up ahead.
"Come along, Arren. You're holding up the rest." Yorren said. "We'll be stopped in town shortly." Arren's face lit up with this news. he was weary from all the travel along the kingsroad, and a warm bed with a warm meal and a warm whore sounded good to him. He looked to those behind him. "Come on!" he yelled. "We're almost to town."
