While Jelani stood there deliberating to himself, the eradicator he had dropped into the room with Jesse had gotten back up on his feet and was now activating his armor for combat. Jelani was not a fan of violence. In his younger years, he did get into a scap or two in the street not to mention quite a few duels in the classroom... And there was that whole wizard war thing... And the time he got trapped on the shadow side... And the time... OKAY! Jelani was quite accustomed to violence, and has lived his life bloody battle after bloody battle every since he could remember! ...However, there was something different about the way these eradicator's conducted their violence that really pissed the Magician off!!!! Jelani had no tolerance for such despicable rampaging brutes. When The Eradicator came charging at him mid deliberation, Jelani simply side stepped out of the way and tripped the eradicator into falling down head first strait into another shadow portal. The eradicator came out of a different shadow portal on the other side of the school, located at the very top of Tenshi Jigoku Academy's larges flight of consecutive staircases. After tumbling and crunching down every single stair the eradicator fell into another portal at the very bottom that simply teleported him back to the top of the staircase to fall some more. By the time the poor eradicator had fallen all the way down ten whole times and then fallen back into the room from before again, Jelani had finished deliberating; and the despicable brute was dead and mangled inside his fancy armor. Jelani decided that he would take care of things for Sin himself...
Jelani needed to take a quick look at the contents of the envelope, so he found his own way around breaking the seal; he pulled out a deck of playing cards, shuffled it up, had one of the students cut, then picked out a random card from the center of the deck[the four of diamonds]. Jelani showed the card around but didn't look at it himself, had Jesse write her name on it, then placed it in the breast pocket of his own shirt. The substitute teaching magician then reshuffled the rest of the deck, had specifically Jesse cut this time, then stuck the envelope in the center of the deck and started to slowly pull it out the other side. The Eradicator suddenly falls from the ceiling and makes a loud crashing sound behind everyone, the startled magician loses his grip on the deck and all the cards and the envelope go flying out of Jelani's hands. In the blink of an eye, the envelope changes and is flying around like a bird again; it flies in circles pecking, tapping, and adjusting the positions of the falling cards so that they are just right so that the cards make a perfect card pyramid as they land on the ground one by one. The white bird circles over Jesse's head a few times as the cards fall, and then transforms back into an envelope and lands on the very tip of the card pyramid, without collapsing it. Jelani then carefully grabs the envelope from the top, holds it up to the light revealing that the only thing inside it now is a single playing card distinctively recognizable as the four of diamonds with Jesse's name on it. Jelani then reaches into the breast pocket of his shirt again, pulls out the letter that was inside the envelope, shows both around, then removes the tophat again that he wasn't wearing before, to take a bow, and all the cards in the pyramid starting from the top, turn into small colorful birds that fly up into Jelani's open hat and vanish along with it once he puts it back on his head after bowing. The magician then takes a momentary break from showing off to read over the letter...
Jelani then walked over to the other side of the room and drew a large square on an old chalkboard. The magician ran his hand over the chalk shape he had drawn and detailed live visuals of rooms and hallways all over the school showed up on the board. It only took a moment for Jelani to locate The God of Destiny's Javelin that was mentioned in the letter, however it was quite a distance from the room they were currently in, and all the hallways surrounding this room were absolutely infested with eradicators, and powerful ones too! There was only one single pathway from the room to the spot on the third floor where the Javelin was that was completely safe, unguarded and free of eradicators, and it had something on it that was a thousand times worse... Vincent fucking LEMONS!!!! Jelani with much reluctance decided that he would honestly rather needlessly put student's lives in even greater jeopardy then they already were in with all the eradicators running rampant, and take them through The Shadow Side with him; rather then risking the smallest possibly of running into that freak. Jelani ran his hand over the board again and the visuals faded away. “Okay everybody, I need to go take care of something important... You should all be safe waiting it out in here without me so long as you stay in this room... If you don't feel safe in the room, or don't think you can stay in here for a while, your welcome to come along with me... But know, that if you do, it will be an extremely dangerous field-trip... I'll stop back to check on you guys as soon as I'm able... If there's any trouble and your attacked, either start arbitrarily destroying school property or call out the name “Fephie” as loud as you can into the shadows... Either way someone powerful will show up... Though if you pick the first one make sure not to say anything negative about dolls!!!!” Jelani explained to the students as he retrieved a glowing purple, black gothic looking key and turned in the door. The magician paused with one hand on the now ominously glowing door knob and looked back to see if anyone would be coming along with him...
