Bah, okay so apparently Britain is getting hit by Hurricane Katia. Not sure how badly we'll be effected, but whatever it is, my area gets some of the worst because we're on the West Coast of Scotland. =__=); I mean, I'm unsure of how much damage this is going to do, but we're gettind Amber weather warnings and they say winds might get up to as high as 80 or 90 mph.

Hopefully it's not going to be that bad, I'm so small I might actually get blown over :'c

I get the feeling you guys don't get Hurricanes as often as those of us who live on the Gulf of Mexico. ^_^

Katia looks to be a Cat 1, and a small one at that in terms of wind speed. Not to mention they seem to be projecting that it'll weaken, instead of get stronger, as it approaches land.

So long as you can avoid the storm surge, you should be okie. <3

I lived a couple hours away from the Gulf of Mexico most of my life. Yeah. A Cat 1 was nothing, really, but the Gulf Coast is mostly prepared for storms like that. I don't know how often Britain gets them. Hopefully the authorities all know how to handle it and whatnot. Anyway... yeah. Watch that storm surge and keep an eye on flooding. We'll be thinking about you.

Yeah, Manhattan was definitely over-prepared for Irene, what with the not-normally-getting-hurricanes thing. Definitely manageable, though, at least where I was.

Earthquakes, not so much. You east coast folks flip out over things like that. =)

Still here, still trucking. Just a bit swamped with school at the moment. Hopefully I'll get some free time sometime soon this week to field some responses. I'm hitting this semester's first round of tests, which is never fun.

Hope all our storm survivors are making it. Let us know if you got washed out and you're adrift on some flotsam out in the ocean. We'll send a helicopter.

Just busy. A couple have contacted me and said they'd need a little longer to post. Important real life stuff came up. Nobody's told me they're out so I'm assuming everyone is still in.

I know I personally am busy, but my busy-ness comes in spikes. I'll get another lull soon and get some posts out. Once a few of the other players get settled, they'll get back to posting, as well. So hang in there.
