Seionyou, Naratsu-Rage
"Your sssight betrays you fool" the serpents taunting hiss would reach Tenebrae's ears, but not before the serpent had shot forwards at the man and its vessel obscured from sight as the serpent grew and grew and grew yet lost no speed or maneuverability. It was a sword spirit made incarnate. Yet, as the serpent moved slightly it could be seen that its vessel was gone, on the serpents head suddenly was a disturbance and then nothing.
FROM ABOVE.
Naratsu's slash appeared almost before the figure did himself. He was swiftly followed by his kindred spirit, Ikusen zaiaku kin'iro no hebi, the sword spirit. Who's body continued to grow as Tenebrae's grasp over hell's energies did. It was bizarre for the connection between the serpent devouring the energies and growing in size was not consistent at all, what was going on?
(Shin'ya)Nox and The Lords of Night
As the grenade was fired off and as it hit the ground a reaction certainly occurred. Like the shattering of glass the grenade hit each of the arrows and reduced them to many many sharp shards. Then, before the shards could touch earth, they began to change a midnight blue and rush upwards at the girl. She would likely try to run or shoot them down, neither would work. Rather, the shards would get within 3 yards and all explode in a blast of condensed reishi. The force would surely stun the girl...but that was not what she would feel, instead a piercing, tearing, agonizing and utterly sudden pain would engulf her abdomen.
Shin'ya, a smile ladden upon his face, had driven his hand straight through the woman's flesh and all the way through her effectively impaling Tamara on his arm. No matter her condition he knew she would be just cognant enough to recognize his voice and his words. So, he leaned in and quietly whispered in her ear "it is the Quincy you seek...not I." His message was simple but wreathed in mystery, but even before death he would never explain it to the girl.
Then suddenly it would become worse and a horrible wrenching would begin as if something within the depths of the girls soul was being torn away. Shin'ya's smile widened and he seemed to revel for a moment before he noticed Ran's foolishness and smiled a smug smile. He withdrew his hand, the process only half finished, and allowed Tamara to fall towards he ground, a sad corpse of a being. As she hit the ground it would appear as if she began to scatter into spirit particles, but was it truly so? Was the woman dead? Or was Nox, and his Lords of Night, playing a trick on his guests?
For Kiyomura, Ran it would not be an easy task finding out for Nox had no intention whatsoever of letting her near the quincy. If the captain thought otherwise, she'd have to earn the right...and with Shin'ya nothing was ever easy.
