Looks good. You go 1st please. The set up would be your character defecting. There would be no other way that he would attack you or even spar.

Akimoto was done with the dysfunctional Gotei operations. They weren't getting anything productive done to stop the enemy so he decided to run off on his own and start his own Seireitei knowing he'd be able to do a better job.

He stopped in an open field when he felt a surge of powerful Reiatsu. He knew it was that of Captain Commander Naratsu. Akimoto didn't want to bother with his foolishness so he entered his Shikai immediately. "Maiagaru, Kasai Fenikkusu no Hiko!" and his blade glowed with radiance but the weight dramatically increased.
"Uingugado," he said and the guard flew from the hilt and formed an equally radiant shield on his left arm that was just as heavy as the Zanpakuto.

His stance was strong. Ready for what the Captain Commander would test him with.

    Seionyou, Naratsu

Naratsu arrives looking a bit worried, however as he looks Akimoto over his worry turns to a slight seldom seen annoyance. "Whats going on Akimoto?" He asked him with brow raised, however as he saw the captains blade drawn he put his hand on his own as well.

Then it dawned on him, he was leaving...defecting. Naratsu's eyes seemed saddened suddenly for there was a law against this and he was forced to act by that law to uphold it even though it went against his beliefs.

He slowly began to draw his blade from its white sheath "No light is strong enough to shine through the darkness of the human soul." The tip of the blade exits the sheath and he holds the blade vertically and forwards away from his body. He slowly moves the sheath closer to the bottom of the blades grip as if to make a right facing L shape "As such, let your sins guide you back to the light..." a light shines from his blade and it begins to turn black. "Mujitsu no Tsumibito(Innocent Sinner)."

Images fell over his mind, though trivial. The times he'd told little, unnecessary lies to superiors, to adolescents. Though he didn't regret much of them, but, in fact, a smile came to his face at some of the memories. "Ah, Mujitsu no Tsumibito. Shows me my sins. I'm not a person for regret or guilt over these things as I've learned lessons from them. But if you intend to use them against me, I'd like to see this process. Just another insufficient use of power by the Captain Commander.

You know, I gave my advice not so it would be so quickly discarded but for you to actually think about and consider them. That's something I regret: giving you advice. Why don't you use that against me, 'sir'?" His tone was biting but of aggravation that his superior didn't do as an effective job as Akimoto would have liked. He would sometimes wonder why Naratsu even had a seat of power.

And with this though, darkness fell over his eyes. "Jealousy. Shit. There's nothing to be jealous about. He doesn't have this position for nothing," he tried to reason and the darkness dissipated a smidgen.

And with that somewhat-clear vision, he rushed Naratsu, hoping to get him to just leave him alone and stop causing these negative thoughts. "He's already done enough. Well, he hasn't, actually. And that's the problem. If he can only see my reason this wouldn't have to take place."

He swung his Zanpakuto horizontally at the abdomen of his opponent and they performed a short Shunpo to Naratsu's back making a vertical strike.

    Seionyou, Naratsu

Naratsu jumped forwards with solemn eyes and shook his head turning and blocking the strike with his strangely shaped blade. He looked at Akimoto "you have given enough reason...now you must pay. I am sorry." He sounded honestly apologetic and then his reiatsu surged to such levels that it was utterly ridiculous however it wasn't a pressure on his shoulders but the thoughts would continue to get worse and worse over time. No matter the amount of sins, the effects would still gradually get worse as long as a few sins were present.

The worst thing was this, that Akimoto was currently committing, or at least attempting to commit one of the worst sins, known as betrayal. The power behind his blade was strong enough to begin to push Akimoto back and then Naratsu's blade was a flash and as it arched back adn then struck a second time driving him bakc further. When he struck that second time, the blood on his blade sprayed off into bloody chains and attempted to grab hold of Akimoto.

The Captain's chastisement eluded him at the time, as he didn't fully understand. This was mostly due to the fact that the red-soaked chains now hurtled toward him. Seven chains twisted and sprawled all over the place. They were hard to track, so Akimoto dove into them, using the dexterity he had to weave through them, hopefully in an attempt to tangle them.

One caught his sword while he pushed another off with his shield. "Oikaze," he mumbled with instinct, the slight impact going to the back of Naratsu. Another chain caught his Zanpakuto and then another, his hand after he knocked away four sequentially. He tried to perform a kick but was caught by a returning chain when he began to spin into the chains so violently and sporadically that the chains loosened enough for him to near Naratsu.

The chains dug into him, nonetheless. He was strong enough to keep them from piercing the skin, knowing it'd only strengthen the attack.

More images crossed his mind. That time he saw others bully an innocent child and he said nothing. The way he lusted over someone in the Academy. But he tried to fight these with rationalization. Any other time that child was bullied, Akimoto was there to defend him. The lust was short-lived and rarely repeated. It was difficult as his mind raced with these thoughts. A side affect to his Zanpakuto was that it was a great distraction. He shook his head to focus as his free leg swung to slam into Naratsu's leg.

Naratsu watched as Akimoto deftly but unsuccessfully attempted to avoid the chains that were a manifestation of his sins. Would bankai be necessary? he wondered and hoped not, he hated to use it for it was an immediate judgement for anyone he battled and it was unfair, unequal to use against anyone.

Then the kick came at him and hit his leg sending him sliding to the side, it was a pain, but his leg was not broken, only damaged. He used the sideways momentum to shunpo behind Akimoto and slash at his back. "I am sorry" he said once again "this is not my wish." He knew combat was necessary but attacking a former comrade was not something he had ever wanted t- a flash of memory hit him and his blade faltered for a moment making a horrible opening.

NO, he banished the memory, no he would not be that person, he wouldn't, never again. He knew that his sword spirit had began to wrap its coils around him and ensnare him in its poisonous grasp.

Though his body was not fast, his eyes were. Such was the case to make up for his lack of agility. Akimoto pivoted his body just so that his Uingugado would catch the blade. It wasn't about to make it, but then Naratsu flinched and the blade fell on the shield. "Oikaze," he shouted. And a burst of the Phoenix's reiatsu slashed at his back like his sword attempted. It was weak but he wanted to conserve as much energy as he could.

"That's right. Your Zanpakuto affects you the way it affects me," he realized with some laughter. It was odd as he was becoming angrier with Naratsu, though there seemed to be no reason. And with the reasoning for his Oikaze also rose. "Sloth and Wrath. This is bad. I'm too easily influenced." "Do you even know why I'm doing this?" he asked as his sins blinded him. But as he asked, his will began to power through the make-shift sins. Bringing to light an issue was one of resolving a conflict, of which he didn't want. This frame of mind is what he would try to keep for the rest of the fight.
