Arabella saw his despair and stared at her. Was he that upset to hang out with her? She bit her lip and began panicking she looked bad. She ran a hand through her long, wavy hair and straightened it, thinking she didn't look good. Her eyes brightened a little, showing off how green she made them. Arabella smoothed her outfit down and glanced around wildly, hoping to see the source of his despair.
He looked at Bella and grinned, "Not at all. I enjoy your company."
She swallowed and though she hated saying it, she said, "If you don't want to hangout with someone as preppy, happy, annoying and ugly as me, it's okay." She took a deep breath. "I know I'm a happy person and it can be annoying... I..." She trailed off and looked at the ground sheepishly.
Arabella swallowed again, fighting to keep her composure. He was probably lying but why had he saved her then? He could have let the fan hit her and harm her, but maybe he would save her but didn't want to hangout. It didn't explain the panic and anxiety though. Arabella's expression must have betrayed her impassive mask and revealed her doubt.
She then glanced around self-consciously, making sure she wasn't about to have a fan dropped on her once more. Arabella took out her phone and saw she had a new text message. She hadn't noticed she had gotten a new text message; she was too caught up with Jason. Her expression fell and full-fledged terror and horror filled it instead. It read, "Jason won't always be there to save you."
What? There was going to be another attack? Arabella began hyperventilating and shaking. She felt her knees want to give way but she grabbed the ledge to remain standing. Sweat broke out across her forehead and she let out a moan and quickly texted back, LEAVE. ME. ALONE! She doubted it would work but who knew?
Arabella shut her eyes and turned her back so he didn't think she was a crybaby or anything. With the phone still out she scrolled through all the texts she had received from the anonymous number. Her phone went off again and she almost started to cry. The reply was, "Never." She tried calling them, but the number was blocked. Despair filled her and she crumbled to her knees, forgetting Jason was there.
Why was this person harassing her? Why were they dropping fans on her? Arabella gritted her teeth. How come this person knew so much about her? Why did they have any right to dictate her? Were they really going to meet her tomorrow? Why couldn't it be public? She didn't think it was a joke anymore, and if it was they had a cruel sense of humor.
Arabella suddenly remembered Jason and slipped her phone in her pocket before standing up. He was going to think she was an idiot. He probably thought she was stupid, annoying and ugly and was hanging out with her for pity. Bella swallowed and turned to face him, forcing a smile. "Sorry." she whispered and said louder, "I'm sorry... Just having problems with this, um, person."

"I'm going to go to my dorm and get ready for the sleepover." Charlotte told him and he nodded. He kissed her back. I'll see you tomorrow." Jesse watched her begin to walk away and decided to follow her. He wanted to make sure she was okay and to protect her.
He followed her to the dorm and watched her enter. Minutes later, Elena walked inside of it too. He listened to the conversation, ready to dive in if necessary. As they talked questions filled his mind that he had no response to. He sighed and began thinking of how gorgeous Charlotte was and how nobody compared to her.
He loved running a hand through her soft, pretty hair; how her hazel eyes were always alight with beauty on their own; how they - Jesse suddenly jolted out of his slacked position to stare wide-eyed at the wall.
They were familiar, almost like- But no.. No! Jesse refused to believe they were the same as his. He shivered thinking about him. Panic, fear and despair filled him. They couldn't be the same as his! Why?! Why was life so cruel!? He banged his head against the wall gently and softly, so nobody heard. He entangled his hands in his hair and felt sobs start to rack his body. He kept the sounds muffled so Charlotte didn't hear him. Silently, he began to cry as he kept guard.
"Ooo time to go!" he heard Elena exclaim, breaking him out of his reverie. He sniffled and stood up, prepared to go after Charlotte. He had heard their conversation on her meeting someone at five while he had cried. More questions had filled his mind, and he felt his panic and fear heighten and intensify by a hundred. Who was meeting her and why? "Hurry before they leave."
He watched Charlie walk down the hallway and followed her, being wary of making noise and being seen. As he did, he saw Arabella and Jason in the dorm together and did a double take. They were hanging out? He could have smiled if it weren't for his worry about Charlotte. He continued to find Raven in her dorm, looking quite stormy and upset. He bit his lip but pushed her out of his mind as well.
Jesse ignored the stares of others, glancing in the lobby to find Derek hanging out in there, surrounded by admirers, friends and miscellaneous kids. How happy, how innocent they all were, and how fortunate too. He sighed and looked away.
He watched her enter the courtyard and sneaked inside, keeping to the shadows. He watched Charlie approach the person and gaped but it turned into a grimace. Why was Landon talking to her? Was he - NO! Jesse gripped his hair again, ready to tear it out. He hoped they were only conversing and not recruiting.
Jesse began exhaling, realizing he had helipad his breath, and felt his heart begin beating to remind him that it had stopped, too. Jesse felt a wave of icy coldness that told him his blood had stopped running as well. He took quiet deep breathes and watched intently, glancing around for anyone else. When he found nobody else he relaxed but stiffened and tensed up. He was too worried and concerned to actually relax now. Jesse made sure to keep his aura blocked from Landon.
