Hayley grinned as the TARDIS landed on this new planet, the camera the Doctor had given her was safely stowed in her pocket. If she saw any clothing she liked she would take a photo and sketch it back on the TARDIS. Her anticipation grew by the second as she headed towards the door, this was always the best part of any trip, the moment the doors were thrown open to reveal a new world. Hayley smiled at the Doctor as she threw them open.

They had landed on Helbexia, in Earth calculations it was 3006. Helbexia was a peaceful planet, the main race was the Hellians, six foot tall humanoids with skin tinged different colours such as purple or green. They had red or yellow eyes and antenna on their heads. Hayley was immediately drawn on their clothing which was like nothing she had ever seen before.

The sun was setting, bathing the city in orange light. Hayley grinned at the Doctor, "Try not to make trouble here," she said jokingly.

Doctor grinned, settling the TARDIS down and stroking down the console before handing to the door, brushing back his brown coat and pushed his hands into the blue jean's pockets. He breathed in the sweet air deeply, walking beside Hayley as the doors shut and locked tight.

He looked to the sunset, such a brilliant lighting. "Such a nice light. And lucky for you these humanoids are very photogentic and don't find it insulting, like the last time" He teased and chuckled to himself.

His nose wrinkled as he frowned slightly at Hayley's next comment. "FYI, Not my fault. Trouble finds me, remember? Or follows you, since you're brightly coloured enough" He teased again, snickering to himself. Knowing the right way to annoy Hayley.

Hayley poked her tongue out at the Doctor, "I am fashionable. Who says that just because your travelling the galaxey you can't look good?" She paused to take a photo of the sunset before moving on, "It's not like you don't make an effort, like with your pin stripe suits," she put her camera away, "I still think you should be a male model."

The lights of the city began to flick on as darkness fell, but strangely they all blacked out. The inhabitants of the planet didn't seem to care as they removed torches from their pockets and bags using those to guide them instead. A few solar lights came on to light the streets and a few buildings had back up solar and wind powered generators, "Eco-friendly," Hayley turned to the Doctor, "But something tells me the technology is all wrong for this planet."

He chuckled calmly, looking around at the wonders of the planet. "Yeah, that would look great on a resume. Nearly 1000 year old man, still looking good enough to be a model" He laughed stroking his fingers through his mouse brown hair.

The Doctor stopped himself as all the lights went out, tempted to put his hands up and proclaim it wasn't his fault this time. But stayed quiet. "Yes.. Very odd for a planet like this.. Though s'pose you can't complain, atleast they're doing a better job of looking after their planet than earth is" He commented, taking a jelly baby fro his pocket and offering Hayley some from the small paper bag in his pocket.

Hayley took the jelly baby and shoved it in her mouth chewing slowly, "But in the future Earth does get better at protecting the environment. You showed me as much," Hayley continued to walk the streets looking at all the different buildings, "So, what do you suppose they use for power when they're not using the wind and solar generators?" An uneasy feeling had setteled over Hayley telling her that all was not well on this planet.


There was a power surge and the city lit up brightly, life continued on as normal. As the power surged time and space bent and moulded in a way that it was never meant to, not that the inhabitants or Hayley noticed.

The Doctor had the same uneasy feeling as Hayley that had washed over him. He shrugged. "I have no idea...But I intend to find out. Come on~" He said, almost if it was something casual for him, strolling ahead.

He blinked slightly as all the lights came back on, looking around suspiciously. Putting up his screwdriver and scanning on of the lights. Looking at the readings he gave a light sigh and a slight look of confusion to Hayley. "No real readings. Not even a trance of where the power is coming from. Long night ahead~"

Hayley walked beside the Doctor, "Off to find trouble," she smiled brightly, she had quickly become use to life with the Doctor, finding trouble and running, always running. The young woman looked up at the Doctor, "Firstly we should find out what the blackout frequency is, then we'll ask about the company. We need to have a good knowledge before we go running in," Hayley, as an assistant was very organised and insisted on helping the Doctor become the same.

Doctor nodded "First bit of trouble I'm going to go 'find' in a while. So you can't use that against me" He chimed quite contently. Listening to her long winded explaination, he looked to her with a soft smile. "Well..I'm just gonna go this way, you can do that" He teased, poitning forwards before putting his hands back in his pockets.

Hayley nodded her phone in hand in case of trouble. She went to a bar and began askng questions. It took a little while but she found out tbe black outs were a daily occurance and that all the electricity was produced by Eco-power. That was when things got stranger, Eco-power only had one building, a seven story office block near tthe centre of the city.

After taking a look at the building, Hayley decided to call it a night. She rang the Doctor and informed him that she was going to the TARDIS and begged him to join saying she would sleep better knowing he was safe.

In the lower levels of Eco-power's building he lay heavily sedated, even so he could feel the life been suckedd out of his body. He moaned softly as he fell back into unconsciouness.

He was standing in the TARDIS control room, the engines hummed softly as he looked around, "Doctor?" He called.

Doctor listened to the voice message before sighing, walking back to his beloved TARDIS, locking the doors again before sitting in his comfy chair. His mind drifting off, dozing lightly until he actually fell asleep. This was weird for the Doctor, trying not to sleep a lot of the time.

He looked around "J-jack.. Is that you?" He asked, walking around the console and saw him. "W-what...What are you doing here? Not that I'm not glad to see you, I thought I wouldn't again" He said softly, wanting to get close to him.
