The grenade did its job as fire belched from t he room that the last few deadly beams had came from. The structure most have been made by sturdy material as only bits and pieces had been blasted away as the thermal paste continued to eat away at the outside.

Moving back into the first floor, he pulled his pistol flipping his SWEEP scanner on he looked over the room. Although it was dimly lit, the scanner allowed him to see it all in a shade of brighten blue. The words Sertta Foundation were still plastered on the wall, a few of the letters hanging crooked.

' How's that heat upstairs cooking Aria?" he whispered allowed.

"The room above was coated in a medium amount of thermal paste, number 4116. The paste will continue to burn at 440 degree Celsius for the next two minutes. No organic would survive in the area."

'Hmm best check it out regardless, who knows maybe the guy jumped?' he thought to himself as he found the stairs. This building seemed to have been built to withstand a pounding, the stairs and walls were made of thick steel coated by a thin layer of concrete. Old security cameras hung, dusty with lack of care.

Moving to the floor he had calculated to be right below the area his target would have been, he moved to the open window as a gust of wind moved through the room. Desks, filling drawers, and la tables littered the rubble lined room. Just when he was about to charge his amp to attempt to break through the ceiling above him, a quick movement caught his sight.

In the next building a floor above his current position something had moved. He prayed his target didn't have his head in his reticule . Letting the half stored energy flow to his left hand, a blue translucent orb moved from his core to his palm. He nearly 'glowed' a light blue as he hurled the 'warp' orbs at the wall directly beside the movement he had seen, the second was aimed straight across from his current position. Once the 'warp' orb would strike a solid surface, the multitude of opposing force would act like criss crossing grinders literally ripping the particles of the surface apart.

A whole now large enough for him to fit through, he chanced the leap across to the second building as he commanded ARIA to push extra power to the front barriers.

Joseph could now see what he was up against face-to-face although he would have preferred it through a scope. The man was human enough, he looked like a human and had a human skeleton but Joseph was too aware of the mans capabilities not to discount him as some sort of science experiment. His thinking was interrupted though as he man looked right in his direction and began to glow blue. 'Crap' Joseph though as he saw a blue ball thrown towards him. He scrambled to get back as the thing ripped and teared a hole in the wall where he once was. As he was getting himself up another hole was torn open in the building and through it Joseph could see his enemy making a jump for it.

Instincts took hold and she shouldered his weapon and fired a full auto burst on his opponent. However the plasma coated rounds met a barrier before making contact so just as the man was about to land Joseph picked and primed a shock grenade and prepared to throw it on the floor in front of where the man would land.

Tanis held his breath as he exited the broken window frame from the decrepit building. He knew he would make the leap as the distance was merely meter and a half away, but that didn't stop his heart rate from skyrocketing as a misplaced step could land him a near eighteen stories down on the cracked concrete.

Rolling into the room he sees his kinetic barrier flare to life as rounds being to peppers him from above. Taking a quick scan of the room he sees broken office equipment. Desks, filing cabinets, knocked over computers, and chairs galore. Wires hang from the ceiling as a gaping hole is near the middle of the floor allow a flickering light t enter the room.

'Kinetic Barrier recharging, sixty-seven percent. The rounds the target uses are charged with a plasma field. Your barrier will begin to overcharge with every strike as it compensates for the dispersion of energy.' Aria droned out.

Tanis's SWEEP scanner began to search for plasma signatures when a canister falls just four feet away from him. "Aria...pull the cover sh...." a concussive blast flowed by a blinding white light leaves the Hunter dazed. Seeing triples of everything about him he narrows his eyes and pulls his Pinnacle T-23 Heavy Pistol taking a few shots into the ceiling above him.

The metal is shaved off into a slug, and accelerated through the stone ceiling upward at incredible velocity. However this was simply cover noise for his next attack. Flaring his biotic amp to twenty percent, he unleashes a warp field large enough to cover ten meters. The criss crossing mass effect fields would make conventional scanners and detection devices useless. Noting there was little light in the building he called out against the thick wall to make his voice echo.

"Now that is enough of that! Let's just have a nice conversation eh? We can discuss why I need to bring you to my employers!"
