History:
Born and raised in Kazan. His parents abandoned him early in his life and was left on the streets since he was 7. He learned from a group of other orphaned children how to get from others what he "deserved" if he could obtain. He is part of a small group called Hagetaka (The Vultures) who take from others what they need to survive. They rarely use violence. Only when presented with aggression are they to respond with greater aggression. Their dress is that of upper class (of where they steal much of their supplies) but is tattered from extended use. He has become high up, recruiting other orphans into the clan who show potential. The leader, Kuroda Shogo (formal), a 24 year old who is rumored to have started the clan himself when he was five, is ruthless and becoming more corrupt with the growing size of the group and the excessive loyalty of his subordinates.

Shogo is called Kuro-shin (Black Heart) which represents the black features of the creature their group is named after and the place he stands within it. Next down, of which Toketsubi is a part of, are the Kuroi Hitomi (Black Eyes) and serve to protect the Heart. Though Toketsubi has seen the corruption shape in his leader, he doesn't much care for the lives Shogo chooses to end as long as it's not his own.

Combat:
He's not particularly quick or agile. However, all of his movements have direct purpose of either disarming or immobilizing his opponent. He doesn't care to kill his enemies outright but has no problem in doing so. He's excellent in organizing thefts and other missions such as assassinations, but isn't skilled in carrying them out efficiently himself. Though his immediate group of clan members are various Elementals, he feels no inadequacy to them. In fact, he feels superior to them due to his rank and skills. When a foe stands in their way, he uses his group members to distract them and then makes the disabling move himself with ease and efficiency. It is unknown why his fighting skills are so honed but is unable to be applied to more passive actions such as stealing. This fact is the reason he is feared by the lower ranked and even his equals.

Personality:
Mostly emotionless. He has strong leadership skills and can easily inspire a crowd. His temper is a little loose but he easily counteracts this by destroying property with his bare hands. He isn't prone to care about the group so much as himself and is always thinking ahead of how to use others to his own ends.

Clothes, Appearance, and Equipment:
Carries a pair of Sai, Nunchaku, two Sickles, and a single staff four inches taller than himself (6 ft.). Prefers simplicity (as that is all he has been able to understand). He is also equipped with at least a hundred knives of various shapes and sizes. These knives are souveniers of past missions and enemies he's completed and taken out respectively.

His body is long and lean. His hair is short to flaunt his eyes of their red irises. Usual demeanor is that of annoyance or discontent. Has a scar on his left breast from a fight with a mountain lion when he was 12. Sharp and broad features of his face and body. It looks as if he should be bigger. May grow to become massive.

He wears a thin silk vest of a dull red that is undersized to show his only battle scar. He usually carries the staff as a walking stick but can be seen with it strapped to his back. A wide and heavy leather sash lays across his body from his right shoulder. This holds the massive amount of thin knives he carries. Another leather sash goes around his waist in the opposite direction holding his Sai and Scythes, one of each on either side, and the Nunchaku in the middle, dangling between his legs for a more or less vulgar effect. This sash acts as his belt and loose gray fabric in wide legs drooped down and is ripped right below his knees. He made this himself from materials found in the clan's cache.

Personality: Reserved, shy, and considerate. Forrest tends to other's needs and comforts before his own. He won't talk to anyone of his own accord but welcomes others' conversations. Only a few close friends have the privilege of seeing him smile and laugh uninhibited.

Takes College Preparatory classes with Honor grades without much hassle. He plans to sign up for all the highest math courses the school has to offer in that level since it is his best subject even though he dislikes it. Even though he hates boasting, it proves to himself that he's good at something. However, taking Honors or Advanced Placement classes are of disinterest to him. He enjoys the feeling of getting his homework done in class so he can relax at home. School isn't of utmost importance to him which shows in his constant disposition in most classes and his lack of extracurricular activities.

His bullied years in Middle School show in his extreme lack of self-confidence and esteem. He tends to slouch or hunch over when he sits or stands to try to make himself look smaller and broken, but this is subconscious. He's never forgiven his bullies or ever gotten over it fully, though he now makes fun of them for they're immaturity and stupidity.

May come off as innocent and naive but he's seen and heard it all. He doesn't swear, have sex, use drugs (including alcohol) or enjoy coffee. Some would say he's "straight-edge" but he has no interest in making a fool out himself for the respect of others and he enjoys his soda. He scoffs at those in relationships, assuming they're all superficial and a waste of time, as they normally break up within the month. His focus is on creating strong emotional relationships with people.

Bio: Born into a more prominent family. When born, he had a high fever but they soon realized he was healthy and was immediately labeled as a Mutant. His parents were initially appalled but decided to use their money and power to manipulate the situation (Keith) so it looked more appropriate to the community. First, he was home-schooled and then he worked for a family friend as a "helper" or "aide" as they were elderly. Raised through ignorance, he was brought up to believe that this was normal for children.

The accidental fires and scorching of items he touched went unnoticed or were excused. This was an attempt to keep curiosity of his Mutanty at bay. He lives half the time at the Morgan's residence but occasionally sleeps in his own bed. This is to throw people off from where he is from. Not many people know of his existence but his parents close friends and family know and try to treat him like a normal human. His life is in blissful ignorance.

Once he touches someone, he as the ability to make life harder for them. Though he has to stay in a semi-meditative state, this is the method he uses to test people's Diligence. The stronger the meditation, the stronger the manipulation. However, because of this, it makes it difficult for him to function in his own life when he's trying to teach a human a lesson or guage their Diligence. Examples of this power taking place is only of the self. It is harder to press down keys to play the piano or type a report, they can't jump as high or run as fast or far, they can't sing as well or lift as much weight, they feel more tired and heavy or they find it difficult to communicate with others.

At the opposite end of the spectrum, he can make life easier of the one he touches. They can run farther and fast, sing better, lift more, play better, type faster, have better ideas, and communicate smoothly. Again, the strength of this ability is directly determined by the degree of meditation he is in. Once this meditation is broken, however, the ability is broken from that person. This can only be performed on one person at a time. This is because he 'follows' them where they go throughout the day or week and makes the important tasks harder or easier. This can also be used on other Sins and Virtues but must be meditated over completely and even then the effects are diluted.
Personality: He is, obviously, very determined. He has been practicing Kung Fu since he was a 'child' and now teaches in his own Dojo. Along with this, he teaches at a local University in the subjects of Ethics and Philosophy. With his students, both martial and academic, he is quite harsh at times. Being late is not an excuse and length requirements of papers or exercises are to be heeded fully or he reprimands them how he sees fit. The punishment is usually to do more of that they slacked on and can be an outlandish amount at times. However, he will touch them and make it harder for them at the beginning but then help them whiz through the exercise. This is to teach them that they can do what he asked of them.
As for himself, he's much harsher. When he messes up, he beats himself up to get it right. There's a sense of insecurity here but he describes it as 'being the best he can be' which means 'being better than those around him.' He does not get jealous but rather praises those who excel at something he does not but then goes out of his way to work himself to the bone to become better. This neurotic determination makes him smart, agile, flexible, strong, and wise. He does not brag, however, as this is purely a selfish expectation. He can be extremely stubborn at times, as well.

Appearance: Old and usually cloaked, she's been around as long as Lust. Her appearance is due to her Virtue and her powers. Her face is that of an elderly woman but not witch-like. Her voice is crackling but strong-willed.

When kneeling in a defenseless position, she sacrifices her life in exchange for her opponents'. If she is to lose a battle, the opponent will be brought to the same fate as herself and force them into charity and self-sacrifice. The 'Defenselessness' must be genuine, however, and she must be on the verge of death and die herself for this to take affect.

She will take the wealth, health, beauty, youth, ability, power, or anything the person, or opponent, deems important or valuable and gains the benefits of such. This is for evaluating their virtuous nature. She waits to see when they become content with their loss and will give that valuable aspect back to the person, or enemy, but in a greater scale. She may, however, keep this aspect for herself. Though, due to her extremely charitable nature, she usually gives it back. Her age is a depiction of this. Since she gives her own age as a reward, she will age quickly when taking someone's youth or beauty. Though her age is advance, she has actually become younger-looking as of recently. She is also not as ugly as she used to be.
Personality: Can be demeaning but is often understanding of others' stubborn or selfish behavior. She is much the counselor of the Virtues and tends to give advice to any who may be listening.

History: Her family lives in Azalea Town, the place where her father conducted scientific experiments with Pokémon and types and elements and such. Her mother used to be the Gym Leader for a period of time before she surrendered her spot for the younger trainer with a smile. She now tends to Pokémon and helps breed and heal them. Her brother set off on an adventure two years before Rachel and is heard of very seldom.

She grew up beside her father, watching him watch trainer battles and would stay up late to read his findings and research, finding it fascinating while actually understanding it. They ended up working together and eventually moved to watching Rachel fight her own battles as her father didn’t care to own any himself. Through this, she learned of the many types and their weaknesses and strengths and learned to exploit them.

She noticed how Bug-type Pokémon were especially weak and not prized by many trainers throughout the land and felt bad for them. She grew up around these creatures and loved them more than anything and became dedicated to prove their worth. She went out into the various regions, collecting badges and even entering contests. She won many events but doesn’t bother to carry around with her the trinkets presented to her. They lay in a drawer in her desk at home. Now she travels around in search of strong trainers and teach them the truth about Pokémon training. It’s about the trainer looking past the barriers Pokémon may face to push through weaknesses in order to obtain victory.

History: He is the oldest of his brothers and sisters but has rarely been home to show off any kind of familial feelings to them. His siblings are usually happy whenever he returns home but when he brought the news of entering the Elite Eight Challenge, they weren't fill with joy. They knew this would keep him away from them for even longer periods of time. But what they don't know was that Khris was planning to spend even more time home, having missed them greatly.

He doesn't show this, though, and will often act annoyed to be in their presence. He lacks the ability to show emotion which threw his Pokemon for a loop when he would first get them but now they understand how he is and know he loves them. His parents don't care much for Pokemon and never bothered to become trainers themselves. They just work around the city like normal folk and didn't care much for one of their children expressing a liking toward Pokemon. However, they embraced this and gave their oldest son a Smoochum for his 10th birthday and sent him out to fight with his new companion.

Since then, he's struggled to beat even regular trainers. He thought it was his Pokemon not being strong enough, but once he conversed with them, he realized it was his own lack of apparent passion. They got through this hurdle and it became less of a struggle to beat Gym Leaders across the world. However, he was able to obtain almost all of the badges after at least a month at each gym, fighting and training and learning how to become better.
Why he deserves to be an Elite Eight: After struggling so hard through his young life to become strong, he finally challenged the Elite Four successfully. He learned much about himself and his relationship with Pokemon. They are a force to be reckoned with and have a deep understanding of each other and fight for each other. He needs to prove himself to all those early in his journey that he's not weak.

Personality: Quite likable and personable. He enjoys a good laugh but is terrible at telling jokes but will to settle awkward silences. It's hard to anger him but when pushed, he can explode. This hasn't happened in years, however.
During Pokemon battles, he is unusually light-hearted and doesn't seem fazed by his team getting hurt but praises them satisfactorily. He tends to make comments and will laugh at the naivety of the opponent's decisions against his team. He can insult someone right out and not really notice or he'll just not care. This is odd as he'll always be smiling so it may come across as sarcasm to the nicer folk.
Relatives:
History: He started his life as the only child of a couple who had nothing to do with Pokemon. They worked in the Dept. Store while he attended regular school. The kids would bring their Pokemon and he would watch in awe as the trainer and Pokemon would interact. This could only go on so long before he began begging his parents for his own Pokemon. He would study books and look through catalogs to find his favorite one. Soon, his house was covered in pictures of Gastly and he would draw the creature and write its name over everything he owned. It was almost an obsession of his before his 10th Birthday and his parents gave him a Gastly a citizen from the City bred.

He was soon off on his adventure that went through as any normal adventure would. But then his Gastly evolved. This was sudden, within the year. He didn't fully understand what was going on so he allowed it to take place. Once it evolved he cried. The image he'd coveted his whole childhood would be marred by this Haunter. And then he learned of its Evolution process. It would never be the Gastly he once loved, but after several therapeutic sessions between himself and Haunter, he learned to accept the creature. Until then, he'd never caught another Pokemon but was still able to obtain 5 badges with only his Haunter.

He'd learned of the nature of Ghost Pokemon by now and could easily exploit it against these trainers. However, the 6th Gym Leader at that time was very knowledgeable and knew of the weaknesses of Ghost-types that Brutus didn't know how to counter-attack. He'd spent close to a full year training and studying to defeat this one Gym Leader. And once he did, he blew through the last two and made his way to the Pokemon League.

With only 6 Pokemon caught during his entire journey, Haunter was his ace. A 'pure' ace if nothing else as his other Pokemon were not well trained at all and merely place-holders at the time. The party members resented him and eventually left of their own will and left Brutus to forfeit the rest of the League. So he then traveled the other lands, amassing every badge and his perfect team of Ghost-type Pokemon. During this time, he'd found a way to evolve his Haunter but their relationship waned for a while after.

Once he returned to the League, the challenge wasn't there. He easily surpassed all and obtained the title 'Champion.' With much more experiences, his knowledge grew as did the connection between himself and his team.
Why she deserves to be an Elite Eight: Though he is not a master tactician, he has the determination to win. He's accumulated the badges of all the regions in record time and proves to be a worthy opponent to any who seek to challenge him. He's also well-liked with many connections.

Personality: Normally calm, he tends to sit out of events and such. This lax facade masks a highly analytical mind, evaluating those he watches regardless of the situation at hand. Though he finds humans to be very odd and hard to like, he understands them well. Chris comes off as 'cold' but only does so to protect himself from the hinderances emotions can play.
History: Never cared for raising and battling Pokemon, but had an unnatural knack for bonding with them. His training consists of sparring amongst his own Pokemon and even going against them himself, creating a stronger bond between them. Summons a relatively small (1' diameter) yet impenetrable and heavy round shield seemingly "on fire" that is formed from the guard. It is warm to the touch and has the shape of wings on the face. It is as heavy as the full Zanpakuto.

Must be spoken at precisely the correct time to reflect an attack back at the opponent with equal strength directed toward the back side of the enemy. It ignores shields and barriers or any other defensive measure. This lasts for 1-2 seconds at the longest and cannot sustain continuous attacks. The force of the counter-attack is equivalent to the force the user is able to endure. If the user is knocked back, the damage would be less than if they sustained the attack.

Appearance: The hilt becomes ashen white with red details and the blade glows more vibrantly and with reddish hues along with the yellow and orange. Even with the absences of the guard, the sword becomes even heavier and duller. If Uingugado is active while performing Bankai (and it usually is), this will become equally heavier.
Powers:

Uingugado (the guard) is sacrificed to unleash a large and intense attack against the opponent which follows and explodes on contact. Can only be used once as the shield (guard) turns to ash after the explosion but is accurate and lethal (with a power between a Gran Rey and Cero Oscuras). After using this attack he will constantly switch the hand he uses to hold it for the weight of the shield is added to the Zapakuto. Being ambidextrous helps but the weight is difficult for him to control at times.

The blade releases flames which consume the wielder. When finished, it reveals a black user covered in soot. However, under this, all internal and external wounds are cured and fatigue returned. This brings the user to a mental and physical state from before the battle. This process is relatively quick and spectacular, the flames being showy and impenetrable. After this, the blade renders to ash yet the weight of, the now only hilt, becomes heavier than before, almost dragging its user down.

With only the hilt (meaning the other two powers must be used before this), this command merges the spirit of the Zanpakuto with Akimoto. The hilt fuses with him while the skin darkens as if burned and the hair lights on fire. His eyes become bright yellow and large majestic phoenix wings of a reddish hue sprout from his shoulder blades. These wings will molt throughout the battle, more-so when defending or attacking with them than just standing there. These feathers begin to turn to ash, and when all have fallen the Zanpakuto regenerates back into its sealed form and this technique ends. Speed increases slightly while strength grows exponentially. His skin becomes tough and won’t be pierced with a strong attack while the wings are largely impenetrable like Uingugado. Fire can be spat out at great speeds and a single flap of the wings burns the air and can sear the surroundings. When all feathers have molted, Akimoto will have expelled almost all of his spirit energy, leaving him defeated should his opponent endure this state.

Personality: Quiet but not shy. Reserved until she has some liquor. Stern when it comes to her training but likes to have a fun time, whether that's sitting in the sun or laughing it up with friends depends on her mood. She's usually up for trying new things. During a fight, she's weary and often looks scared regardless of how powerful she really is. She can be heard singing around the barracks, though it's always the same one. Somewhat of a prude until she gets loosened up a bit.
History: She grew up alongside Akimoto for some of the time he was there. When he shipped off to the Academy, she sought to find the power he'd acquired somehow and begged for the Shinigami to take her. They never sensed much of a reiatsu from her but they saw her determination and allowed her acceptance.

She faired in Kido well which went against her lack of reiatsu and her skill with a sword was top-notch. However, whenever placed in front of a worth opponent, she would freeze and doubt herself. Some of her peers tried to counsel her but she seemed stubborn in her insecurity until she put into a pinch in the World of the Living. She doesn't remember it very well, but while on a mission there, some Shinigami had died from a small outbreak of Hollow. She tried to protect them and eventually downed the large Hollow but it was in vain for they had been injured so mortally. They saw her potential after this but she reverted even deeper into insecurity after the incident. She was older than everyone by the time she graduated.

As a fresh graduate, she requested for Squad 5 as her 'crush' was the Captain by now. He seemed to forget about him and she took the hint, though still lusts over him.

This power is always active in Shikai. Any form of tree, bush, shrub, or plant even down to its seed, is in control of the user. This control is limited as the plant cannot come up from the ground. However, the speed of growth and movements can be manipulated, to a degree. These movements are relatively slow.

99 seeds start pouring out of the hilt of the sword, Mori Hatsuga capable of controlling where they fall. However, when they hit the ground, that is where they will stay for the remainder of the time her Shikai is released. These sprout and grow quickly. What forms is a type of fly-trap. However, the “fly” for these plants target weapons, mainly Zanpakuto, and enemy reiatsu. Once one of these plants come in contact with a being of reiatsu, it will grow (being immune to Mori Hatsuga at this point) in size and strength. The energy absorbed is stored in the plant and will explode with equivalent power of the energy absorbed under the command of Mori Hatsuga.

History: George Harley worked as a real-estate agent and was the CEO of his own company until a house literally fell on him. The structure was unsound, rotting away from termites, but no one told him. His partner should have relayed this information, but after his death, he learned this was on purpose to bring his boss down. However, this was a freak accident and the partner just wanted George to sell a bad house and, hopefully, rise in rank himself. But when George died, his partner took his position without thinking twice and with no remorse. George clung to the building where he used to work until he became a hollow which was especially painful as the rage of exacting revenge on his ex-partner filled him with spite and jealousy.

Once a hollow, a vicious attack took place on the man and the whole business crumbled after being at the top for six years. This is how he got his start to becoming the Espada of revenge. After this first eaten soul, he attacked the souls of those who did anything against him. And then he watched the rest of the citizens and anyone who took advantage of another was then hunted as prey. This took place until he became and Adjunca. He continued his pursuit for justice, eating any other hollow or adjunca who went against another. And since these were hollows and adjuncas, this was a common occurance. So, his rise to Arrancar, though long, was inevitable.

During this time, the deceit and lies increased, and his sense of justice grew. Those of greater power were challenged and, ultimately, defeated and devoured as his determination to bring order and responsibility to such a chaotic place was so strong he would search for power to bring his ideal to life. This brought him up to the Espada status. And with the 10th and 1st above him, they stay in their positions because they are not outright deceitful. The Lord of Hueco Mundo also is highly respected due to her straightforward and no-nonsense attitude and behavior. The other Espada, however, are continually found devoured.
Personality: He's always on the look-out for anything that might go against another and isn't one to hesitate to exact revenge for another as well as himself. Usually calm and composed but only because he's ever analytical of others' unfaithfulness. He constantly speaks of justice and loyalty. Quite outspoken and opinionated but will allow others room to say their piece. One has to be a great hider of their betrayal because he's become so keen on the signs of it as well as avidly searching for it. Once he gets a hint of ill intentions toward another, he will confront them. Usually this leads to death as he is not very understanding of people's schemes.

Resurreccion
Appearance: Hair becomes feather-like spiked backward. Purple tint at root. The eye makeup spreads further down the nose and connects with the other eye's paint on the bridge of the nose. Other side of paint spreads upward to the temples. Arms grow white down and lumps on shoulder blades become wings connected to arms. Pattern of purple tattoo stays as down. Purple at the root as well. Feet are bare and nails (along with hands) grow. Noticeable muscle growth. Chest grows down and shirt is gone.
Weapons: Sai form into long black claws for hands. Feathers
Abilities: Enhances strength but speed more-so. Wings can shoot needled feathers that easily pierce foes. These 'feathers' are infinite and extremely fast. He will always hit his target.

Venganza del Infierno: When an enemy draws blood, the tools used for such begins to crumble into soot and flies away as ash and is irreparable. If it's a body part, it begins to rot. This process is slow but debilitating.

Segunda Etapa
Appearance: Down grows down to groin and covers the buttocks while traveling down his inner thigh. Pants are gone. His feet become talon-ed and down grows on feet up the outside of shin. Claws form over hands with large black nails. Wing structure spreads up the back of his head to sleek the feathers into a helmet-like covering that has the texture of feathers. Paint spreads to cheeks though in a lined pattern.
Weapon: Claws and Talons.
Abilities: Increased strength but unmatched speed. The 'feathers' can be used more profusely now.
His Venganza del Infierno's effect takes affect much faster. However, anything affected by the Resurrecion form of this ability is left at the rotting pace as before.

Custom Cero/Bala: Cero Estallido (Covers 'feathers' in cero Metralletra but explodes on command rather than impact. These 'feathers' can, then, be further manipulated and follow the enemy.)

He knows how to manipulate his surroundings to produce the best outcome for a particular mission. It may seem like luck sometimes, but he has a great knowledge of geometry and chemistry. It can be associated with "street smarts" but anyone can see it's more than just that. Some examples include (but are not limited to): choosing specific objectives to complete first; understanding technology enough to choose the best weapon or tool for any given task; understanding people enough to determine what they want/like/behave to an innate level; and the ability to fix or restore or reset something without deep knowledge of the task/object/etc.

History: Jerome derives from a prominent family within their clan. His birth was kept from their public for the few years he was tamable. He was soon seen running around their "estate" and this existence became valid as fast as rumors are spread. His exuberant and lively nature was received quickly, but his parents were viewed with caution and skepticism just as fast. With three older sisters, Jerome would be recruited into the Jackals since his father was a Sargent of the Alpha branch. His mother strongly disapproved of the Jackals, wishing their community would just stay content surviving underground, and influenced her daughters away from the cause.

Jerome was too much like his father to deny his place in the rebellion. His father trained him personally and strictly. Though his father would push him to the point of breaking, JKL enjoyed every moment of it. His father was his idol. He fought to be just like him, but it was inevitable that he was to take a different path. Jerome was not skilled in firearms and military tactics. He was often on his own and and completed missions solo. This eventually lead to his completing solo missions, specifically, much fast than others twice as experienced. His brain, much like his body, moved quickly and he could determine the best directions to go and completing the objectives in the most efficient order when they were given all at once.

He's often seen free running, and usually for good reason. Since his mind races so quickly, it's quite usual for him forget meetings and briefings. Ironically, he's often seen smiling. However, this does not cross over into military missions and when things are about life and death, his mind will filter everything important in the clearest manner.

When he was fifteen, his father was required to conduct a mission on the surface. It's been five years and he's yet to return with his squadron. JKL "knows" he's still up there and believes he'll be the one to rescue him. This was the year he was placed directly under a recruit in the Alpha squad. He spent the next three years training more rigorously than the recruits and developed a strong connection with many of the superiors. When he was offered a controversial role in the Alpha squad, he quickly declined and opted for the Beta Squad which suited him better for their Scout/Assassin and Demolition squads were better and he would be able to make better use of his skills in the Betas rather than the Alphas. This decision was also made due to the many who disapproved of the favor he was given. JKL himself believed he should start off in a lower position and earn his way up.

The two years since this, he's been given several missions on the surface. He's failed each of them, for his personal objective has never been achieved: to find his father.

His older sisters side firmly with their mother and disapproves of the men in their family who associate with the Rebellion but accept it since they were born and married into it. They alienated their brother and father and would only tolerate their presence for profession or public situations.
