Name: Mokra Tem "Mo"
Species: Kel Dor
Rank/Title: Jedi Knight
Planet of Origin/Birth: Dorin
Force Sensitive Y/N: Yes
Mokra Tem stands 75" (6' 3"/190.5cm) and weighs 210 lbs. (95Kg). Mo, as he is known by his closest associates has a dark peach complexion and black eyes with silver irises. Mokra's nose falls short of becoming a beak with a gaping hole that descends into his mouth, a toothless chasm with drooping fleshy strands. In place of teeth, Mokra has an upper and lower hard-palate. Framing his head are extrasensory organs which terminates in small black tusks next to his chin. As a Kel Dorian, Mokra wears an antiox breath mask and protective goggles. He can not breather oxygen, Carbon dioxide or nitrogen, which are all fatal to him. He must breathe Helium and a gas unique to Dorin. The mask also amplifies his voice when out of Dorin atmosphere. Due to the extrasensory organs in his head, Mokra has heightened reflexes. As a racial trait, Mokra is considered quick and wise, but of a weaker constitution. Mokra can communicate with other Kel Dorians by using his mind in a form of telepathy.
Jedi Reflexes: Due to his natural racial ability of heightened refelexes, Mokra Tem can effectively slow the world around him, heightening his reflexes and perceptions.
Force Cloak: Mo can photo-kinetically bend light and sound waves around themselves, rendering them invisible to visual and audio detection. This is a skill Mokra was able to perform as a youngling. He didn't know how it happened, it just did. He has since learned to control it and master it. It was not something he learned. Force Cloak to Mokra Tem was like breathing for anyone else. He cannot cloak others, just himself.
Form V: Shien / Djem So fighting form: Mokra can maintain a prolonged defense with Shien utilizing a combination of blocks and parries. Using Djem So he has a proper foundation of defense against both ranged and melee attacks. The Djem So practitioner can immediately, after defending against an opponent's strike, follow with an attack of their own, bringing the force of the opponent's own blow against them and dominate the duel. Djem So places a heavy focus on brute strength and pure power, with wide, powerful strikes and parries followed immediately by a counterattack.
Force Stealth: Through meditation, Mokra Tem can shrink his presence in the Force to a microscopic size, where he is almost undetectable and able to avoid mental attacks. Mokra once used Force Stealth to fake his own deathby using Quey'tek meditation techniques. He was able to make himself appear lifeless as though his force signature and other vital indicators ceased to exist.
Martial Arts: As a Kel Dorian, Mokra Tem is a master at the martial art form of his people. He is just as deadly with or without his light saber.
Telepathy: As a natural racial trait, Mokra Tem can telepathically communicate with other Kel Dorians. Through meditation and the force, he developed the ability to communicate ideas to other non Kel Dorians and in some cases, non force sensitive individuals. At the least, he can read emotion and state of mind in others.
Protection Bubble: Mokra can create a defensive sphere around his body. When engaged, it is a shimmering blue globe of energy. It can protect Mokra Tem from a wide range of attacks, deflect laser blasts, defend against lightsabers, vacuums and even inflict certain amounts of damage upon contact with the enemy. When Mokra surrounds his attacker in a Protection bubble, it is possible the attacker will become a victim of their own attack, having been trapped within its destructive radius. Due to the extreme concentration needed to sustain the bubble however, Mokra must remain momentarily immobile in order to enact the bubble, and sometimes, completely stationary in order to sustain it.
Telekinesis: Mokra can not only large what should be considered extremely heavy objects, but can manipulate the smallest of details to activate or deactivate a switch.
Pilot: Mokra can fly most space traveling craft, but prefers smaller more agile craft to large cumbersome vessels.
Computers: Mokra understand the hardware in constructing and repairing systems as well as the integrated software, understanding the programming as well.
Breathing/Mask: Due to his genetic disposition for breathing Helium and a gas indigenous to his homeplanet, Mokra must wear a breathing apparatus when existing with other creatures who breath Oxygen and Nitrogen. This limitation only becomes hazardous/fatal when the mask is removed in an Oxygen/Nitrogen environment.
Eye Sensitivity: The other genetic disposition is an over sensitivity to light and the harmful effects produced by stars and suns. Mokra wears dark goggles in order to shield these harmful effects. Without the goggles, Mokra would need to keep his eyes closed until the goggles can be returned to their proper position, during which time he would exclusively rely on Force Sense to see the objects around him.
Control of Emotions: Mastery of emotions has been a jedi trait, Mokra Tem has difficulty overcoming. For the most part he can remain reticent, but during high stress events, he may become berserk with rage and lose control of his emotions. This is the one flaw, Mokra meditates the most for in attempting to overcome.
- Green bladed light saber. Mo based his weapon design after the curved hilts that were standard during the heyday of Form II lightsaber combat. The curve allows the hilt to fit better into his hand, allowing for superior finesse and precise blade control. The emitter features both an angular blade guard and a thumb trigger that activates the weapon's dual-phase setting, shortening the blade for a close quarters surprise attack. The blade either extends to 24" for the small setting or 42" for the long setting. The first third of the weapon casing is a solid piece that contains an inclined focusing chamber and a series of thermal radiator grooves along the inside of the curve. The crystal chamber is positioned in the joint between this piece and the handgrip. Concealed beneath the fabric covering of the handgrip is a magnetic adhesion plate that secures the weapon to Mo's belt when not in use. The final third of the hilt contains the activator and the three power cells. The first cell, a compound power cell, is contained in the bend in the hilt directly below the handgrip. The second, a Phase A cell, is positioned next to the activator, a red pinky trigger. The last cell, the reserve, is contained in the weapon's pommel.
- A small belt-pack of tools, wrenches, screwdrivers, blades, spanners, wire cutters and other tools to help with computer/electronic repairs.
- Dark Green Robe with a black undergarment that wrap around the torso like a Gi, matching black belt and gray colored loose fitting trousers, tucked into the top of his boots.
- Kel Dorian boots are hard soled, yet soft and appear to wrap upward around the calf covering the shin and stopping just below the knee cap.

Mokra Tem genuinely cares for other people. He may be enraged when he perceives harm done to others especially those who are closest to him. His great struggle is to overcome his propensity to go Berserk in combat rather than remain calm, cool and effective. He is not necessarily prone to bouts of rage in an irrational manner. His berserk rage is ignited only when physical harm is being purported upon others. Otherwise, he is calm, cool and reticent. This is a fallibility Mokra works hardest to overcome. It is because of his rage, that he has not yet been elevated to the rank of Jedi Master and the council's reluctance to hand him a Padawan learner. When in low/no stress environments, Mokra is the epitome of rational behavior.
3993 BBY - Born on Dorin during a time of peace, Mokra's parents welcomed the young Force Sensitive infant into their lives. They knew as a toddler, he was strong with the force and would join the Baran Do Masters at the Kel Dor Enclave shortly after his fifth birthday (3988 BBY) as a Youngling student. The Tems knew they would lose their son to the Jedi Order, but were confident that he would serve Dorin and the Republic well, bringing great pride upon their family and people.
As a youngling, Mokra's teacher's discovered that he was blessed with a natural talent for Force Cloak. Not every Youngling, Padawan, Knight or Master possesses this talent. Some spend their entire lives training for this. Mokra was blessed with it from birth. He did not understand it and assumed everyone could make themselves turn invisible. It took the encouragement of his Jedi Masters at the Baran Do Enclave for him to comprehend what it is, he can do. Initially, he could not control his disappearing, but became one of the best "Hide and Seek" players at the Enclave. Before being elevated to a Padawan learner, Mokra Tem learned to control his Force Cloak ability.
All youngling students at the Baran Do Enclave study a martial art form named for the group; Baran Do. It is a combative style that relies on finesse and aggressive counterattacks. The younglings begin training at age five when they first arrive at the Enclave. In their first year as a Padawan learner on average, they have mastered the unarmed combat form of Baran Do. Students of this unarmed combat form continue to train well into their golden years and most never stop until death.
3981 BBY - In the year before his ascension to Padawan, Mokra Tem joined the class at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. While at the Jedi Temple, he greatly impressed Zez-Kai Ell, who chose him as a Padawan learner at age twelve (3980 BBY). Zez-Kai Ell appreciated Mokra's natural ability toward Force Cloak. He attempted to teach Mokra Advanced Force Forms, fighting without his light saber. Although Mokra has retained the information of those lessons, he has not quite mastered them. He continues to meditate and practice the advanced force forms; Force Channel, Force Potency, Force Affinity and Force Mastery. Padawan Tem marveled at Ell's violet double-bladed lightsaber. He tried to follow Ell's ability to use several different light saber forms, but has not yet mastered the others; Ataru, Niman and Juyo. He continues to train in the other styles, but Shien/Djem So remains his dominant form.
In 3974 at the age of 18, the Jedi council conferred the title of Jedi Knight upon Mokra Tem. Zez-Kai Ell was being considered for a posting on the Jedi Council, but it had not been confirmed yet. He remained a Jedi Master conducting the usual enforcement tasks of the Jedi in the name of the Republic.
While on Kuat in 3976 at the age of 16, Mokra defeated three men in a duel outside a cantina. Master Ell stood back and watched from the shadows, refraining from interfering. The men had accosted a young woman and Mokra jumped in to her rescue. He employed the familiar Form V Shien techniques and quickly disarmed one of a blaster and a second of a vibro-blade. The third assailant ran away. Before the fight ended, the first attacker attempted to hit Mokra over the head with a glass bottle. That man was split in two by Mokra's green glowing light saber. The whole fight occurred during a rain storm. When the fight ended, Ell felt Padawan Tem had mastered his saber technique using Form V. The padawan maintained situational awareness throughout the action tracking the location of all attackers even when they attacked from behind him. He was able to avoid distractions and successfully survived the encounter. Due to this event, Master Ell vouched for his padawan in passing the Trial of Skill.
Because 16-year old Padawan Tem believed he was alone, that his master was not nearby and he chose to engage the young woman's attacker in an altruistic act of vengeance, Master Tem believed that this event satisfied the Council's requirements for the Trial of Courage as well. He could have very easily turned his cheek and allowed the ruffians to have their way with the girl.
In 3975, while patrolling a seedy district on Tatooine, Master Ell and Padawan Tem got into a fight with a group of Tusken Raiders. The Raiders intended to kill the Jedi. During the fight, Mokra Tem personally killed or wounded no fewer than eight Tuskan Raiders. In the process, he lost his left hand severed about three inches up from the wrist. Medical personnel were able to help attach a bio-mechanical prosthetic, but this event allowed Mokra to pass the Trial of the Flesh by sacrificing a hand for the Jedi order and the Republic.
All throughout his time with Master Ell, both Master and Padawan knew Mokra had a problem with his temper. An innate sense to attack when a stressful situation presented itself tended to get the better of Mokra Tem. More than anything, this Berserk behavior controlled his actions at Kuat against the three highwaymen and against the Tuskan Raiders on Tatooine.
On several occasions, Master Ell had Padawan Tem meditate for long periods of time in order to mete out this blight on his abilities so that he could use the force to control his behavior during high stress moments. The Meditation did help and Mokra Tem grew closer to controlling his temper. By the time, Tem turned eighteen years old (3974 BBY), Master Ell felt Mokra Tem had passed the Trial of Spirit.
Two months after his eighteenth birthday, Mokra Tem ascended to the position of Jedi Knight. Doubt, fear and rage gripped Mokra Tem. Through improving his Force Stealth, Mokra Tem was successful in concealing his true emotions from Jedi Master Zez-Kai Ell and even the best of the Jedi Council. Mokra Tem had never made contact with a Sith Lord, but based on all the other actions he performed and his heightened abilities, the council all voted unanimously in favor of making him a Knight.
Two years later, the council considered giving Mokra Tem a Padawan to train. At that time, it was discovered that he concealed his emotions for the Test of Spirit. This discovery raised some question into whether or not Jedi Knight Tem could properly prepare a Padawan for advancement to Knighthood. It has been ten years since that decision and the council has not budged from that position. Other younger Knights have received Padawan learners, but not Mokra Tem. It is a sore spot with the Kel Dorian Jedi, causing irritation, but also acts as a catalyst to help him resolve his emotional issue.
Relationships and Acquaintances:
Subordinates and Entourage:
Mo has not subordinates or entourage. He would like to have a Padawan one day, but the Jedi Council has seen fit to not allow Mokra Tem to have a Padawan or an android for that matter.
