The sudden appearance of another costumed person, presumably a hero, threw Frank off for a half-second. Just enough time for the physical exchange between Batman and the Joker to be completed. The clown prince of crime had a large hand cannon pointed at Captain America.

Inhaling slowly, timing his breath with his action, practiced movements all compressed into a flurry of action within the span of three seconds. The KRISS snapped up and the red laser sight targeted the back shoulder of the purple clad, white-faced freak.

As soon as the red dot sighted the mast of the man, a hiss of escaping air as the finger depressed the trigger, pulling it back in a smooth action. When it did the mechanism of the carbine barked its anger. A three round burst of .45 ACP hollow point rounds exploded from the weapon at a rate of 985 feet per second. They would close the distance before a man cloud blink an eye.

If the Joker were not wearing body armor they would tear into his flesh, tumbling if they hit bone. Tearing flesh and arteries along the way. The impact most likely would knock the man off his feet, the blows hammering him like a baseball bat swung at 50 miles per hour.

As soon as the last round ejected from the slide, The Punisher was up and pulling back along the catwalk. His eyes swinging from the Joker to the other targets below, counting off each as either “friendlies” or “hostiles”.

The movement and the catwalk would provide some cover in case the Joker had henchmen still around, and the sound of the carbine firing would most likely attract them. Dropping to a knee with a rail between him and those below him, Frank kept his weapon up, finger along the side of the trigger, ready to fire off another burst at the Joker or any other bad actor that might show up.

Batman didn't turn his head to look at Tim. He glanced slightly at his former apprentice, "Not a good time, but..." His sentance was cut off, the sound of gunfire echoed off, coming from above. Batmans vision cut from the Joker to the walkway, he didn't check if Joker was still alive. He was gone by the time Punisher could have looked his way, vanishing in the darkness, his last words told Tim that he was going to handle the gunman himself. His apprentice should know to stay away at those words.

Batman with his grappeling hook launched up to the walkway above where the bullets rang off, he knelt down at the scene before him, analyzing the type of rounds with his goggles he glanced up and looked down the pathway where footprints lead, seeing heat signatures going that direction. Using his goggles he found a trace of the guns rounds, following the trace it lead down the walway, he followed it. Ever so silently he made his way forward.

Finally he was there, from an angle, hidden behind a piller. He saw the form of the Punisher making his way from the scene where he shot at the Joker. Batmans keen eye followed the man, then he was moving again. His vehicle was very close to sending off its timed surprise, something that would help Batman alot most likely.

"You don't belong here Frank," Came Batmans voice from the shadows, he didn't stay in one place he was moving. He was hidden, he was after all a master of stealth, the Dark Knight. He knew not to charge an armed man even though his body armor would protect against the rounds, he knew from past experience. Frank was a good shot, so he waited. Going to talk it out for the moment.

Frank smiled as he eyed the figure, “Howdy Batman. You're right I don't belong here, but when someone comes to my city, recruiting to take out a hero, well I tend to want to know who and why.”

The thermal detector had spotted the dark clad hero when he began his ascent, a predictable move reported by various thugs over the years and in the file that Frank had since their last encounter. It marked his position with a very distinct heat signature against the cooler background radiation. While Batman had some custom equipment, The Punisher was not with out his own tricks that allowed him to complete his missions. Having known the Batman was involved he had figured the Dark Knight would come up to see him personally.

Standing easily The Punisher carefully avoided pointing the KRISS directly at the costumed crusader. While allowing the camera to still track the figure. Where Batman could see the low-light scope and thermal imaging sight. All very compact and attached to the weapon, sleek, deadly and in the hands of a man practiced with its use.

“The only thing I can't figure is why Captain America is here.” Frank nodded subtly at the blue-clad hero below. The actions of the man were a marvel to watch, and for once Frank was happy not to be the target of the shield.

Raising his sinistral hand he pointed towards the other hero, “I figure he's one of yours?” The question was more of a statement, and one that would place the Red Robin in the category of white hats.

Flicking his eyes toward the caped hero, Frank smiled, “We can do it hard if you feel like fighting me, or you can let me go about my business and find the people I am looking for.” Nodding slightly towards what ever were happening on the floor below them, “Looks like your kind of fight down there. I figured you'd be saving the hostages before something bad happened to them.”

His mind calculated trajectory, positioning of the two men, and a myriad of possibilities that could happen, and his reactions to each one. The call would be Batman's of course but if he wanted a fight well it would depend entirely if said fight were within Frank's mission parameters. So far the appearance of three heroes and one loony criminal had not been primarily considered and would require further intelligence.

The sound of glass breaking immediately brought Captain Americas wandering eyes back to the fight, a new hero wearing figure descended into the fray it seemed. After a moment Cap knew who the man was, there weren’t many super heroes and villains that the Cap didn’t know of. If the government had a file on them than Cap was expected to know about them.

His shield intercepted the Jokers shot almost lazily, it was a practiced movement. “I’ve been doing this since before you were born.” He commented as he closed the distance between him and the joker with frightening speed, though he knew he wouldn’t be fast enough and so a spinning shield preceded his dash.

The Joker might have been unaware but there was little that went on during a battle that the veteran soldier failed to notice and he had seen the red dot. The shield had been timed perfect, intercepting all three rounds and scattering them out wide. In the same moment of his dash he struck out at Joker with a powerful palm strike to his chest, it carried enough force and strength to drop the mad man on to his back, forcefully.

The shield spun, bouncing off the wall opposite and back to Cap’s hand in a matter of moments, as he split his attention between the Joker and the man that had taken the shot, though from this angle and lighting he couldn’t make out who it was, he only knew that Batman went to interfere.

“You’re lucky I need you alive Joker.” Cap commented off-handedly, obvious disgust evident in his voice.

Batman was ready, of course why wouldn't he be. His suit pulsed an electriconic wave, small waves that would interfer with heat tracers and the such. Making the Punishers device not work to its fullest degree, making things in the Dark Knights favor more and more, being a master of stealth is much different then going with the military, the Dark Knight has faced alot of top edge military people, Punisher was one of the few who were a good match, when Frank asked the question the Dark Knights gaze went to his former apprentice."Yes, Robin is what he went by before, now known as Red Robin, strange that he showed up out of the two apprentices of mine. To many people try to be me, but they will never understand the cost. I am no hero, there is no such thing as a hero. I put criminals to justice, nothing more and nothing less. I do not know what you are planning Frank, but make sure you don't cause trouble in my city, or I will find you," And that was a promise the Dark Knight never fails to make come true, then suddenly he was gone, over the railing and down below.
"Alright then, Captain for one thing, I need to know why you are here, and Tim. You shouldn't be here anyways, there is more important places in Gotham to worry about."

Batman turned and went to the hostages, using an electrionic device on the bomb it screwed up the transmitter, he disarmed it quite easily after abit then released the hostages."Get out of here," Was all he said, Gorden nodded and went away with the female at his side, Batman turned to look around once more, scanning for more problems.
